Jackson watched her go, and then shuddered.

"Eesh." he muttered.

"Yeah. That WOULD be effective." he said to himself.

He then sighed, and found himself continuing to look at her as she went to get her food.

He was... fascinated with her. And he wasn't sure why.

But all he knew was that he liked being in her company. A lot.

"Huh." Jackson muttered.

"Fair enough." he said.

"Must have been an effective threat." he then said further. "I've never seen anyone able to intimidate her." he commented, thinking about it.

"Oh well, it got results." he shrugged.

"In the end, that's what matters." he reasoned.

"It's all that matters in this world."

"Well, that's good." Jackson replied.

He then sighed, and shook his head.

"Maybe she'll calm down now." he muttered. "Learn her lesson." he said.

"She's almost caused people to get seriously hurt. And it's amusing to her." he told her.

"She... really annoys and aggravates a lot of people." he went on.

"But... I suppose that's needless to say." he then admitted.

"Anyway, I'll save this seat for ya if you want." he told her, gesturing to the seat beside him.

"Don't know what you mean by 'quite awhile'..." Jackson admitted.

"But.... well, suffice to say, it's good." he told her.

"And they have a lot of other stuff to choose from." he went on.

"So... uh... hm." he then mumbled.

"Think there's gonna be any... fallout... from this? As far as you and Denise are concerned?" he asked her.

@kaybit: Of course you are, I'm just saying that, unless the topic is off the front page, double-posting is the limit for one person. Trust me, I'm well aware of how frustrating it can be when a topic gets no attention for x amount of time, which is why you're not in trouble for this or anything. This is just a friendly reminder of the rules is all.

".......I see." Jackson replied.

"Uh... fair enough? I guess?" he said.

"Anyway, you gonna go grab something to eat?" he asked.

"It's pizza day." he told her.

"And they make some goooooooood pizza." he said with a small chuckle.

"Unlike... well... most school cafeterias." he muttered.

"?" Jackson was silent, and confused for a moment.

"I..." he stammered.

"Wait...." he muttered.

"You... you got an audio recording?" he asked her.

He then noticed just how cold she felt, and raised an eyebrow.

"How...?" he muttered, looking at her.

@kaybit: Hello, just a friendly reminder that double-posting here on Voltra is the limit, unless you are bringing a thread back from beyond the front page. Just something to keep in mind for the future, all right?

The guys watched her head off, and the new one looked at Jackson.

"She the new kid?" he asked.

"....yeah." Jackson replied.

'The hell are you up to?' he then wondered.

Sierra had been walking through the hallways, when she noticed someone walking towards the stairs. Suddenly, it looked like they forgot how to walk, and they took a tumble down said stairs, landing beside Sierra in an awkward way.

"Owwwww..." they groaned.

And when Sierra looked up at the top of the stairs, she saw people casually looking at what happened, with passing concern, except for a platinum blonde girl with emerald green eyes... and a light cruel smirk on her face.

"Eh?" Jackson muttered.

"Uh, sure." he said, digging into his pocket.

"Here." he said further, producing a cell phone and handing it to her.

"I assume you have a plan." he commented.

"Care to share?" he asked.

"........people have." the student replied.

'The problem is... well... what she does can easily be explained by being klutzy and uncoordinated at times." he said.

"And she's slick with it." Jackson told her.

"She does it 'under the radar', so to speak." he continued.

"The problem is... she's smart and clever. Which makes her so effective and dangerous."

Jackson handed the book to the student, and he sighed.

"...well... it was... Denise." he said.

"Uuuuuuuugh." Jackson groaned, exasperated.

"Yeah..." the student muttered.

"Denise Ross." Jackson then said to Sierra.

"She's pretty much the school bully." he told her. "She's... well, she's not muscular or anything, but she can... like... enter people's minds and cause the wires in their brain to misfire for a few seconds." he explained.

"In this case, causing someone to fumble about, and drop their book."
Posted in Changing the Future Posted 7 years ago
"True." Jackson replied.

"But yeah... that could have broken your neck." he told her, as the student approached.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry!" he apologized profusely.

"I didn't mean to do that!" he insisted.

"Someone caused me to do it!"

When she looked around, she saw nothing.

But Jackson had knelt down, and picked up a large textbook.

"Eh?" he muttered.

"Sorry!" they heard called down from the floor above them.

"Sorry! I'm coming down to get it!" the one called further, before they saw them heading towards the stairs.

"....guess it was an accident...?" Jackson said to Sierra.
