@MoodyB:
That sounds really nice ;;
I'm doing pretty good! sitting on my sofa here watching my cat snort bugs (she tries to smell them)
about to go to bed for the night.

I need to work on freebies too, but gosh darn how do motivation happen again lmao

@Totalanimefan:
yeah, i decided against it. i thought about it because i always see prices go up. I've never heard of prices ever going down. like what if i never get the chance to catch up and own a home?

it always feels like, for our generation, that the bar keeps raising higher and higher ^^;

@Feral:
Oh gosh no, not currently! I thought about it when my rent shot up like crazy but realized even still, not worth it where I live

gonna wait out the market and saaaave

@Totalanimefan:
Me too

We consider the option of buying here, stay a few years, then sell later. BUT realized we'd only sell at a loss cause aint no one wanting to buy houses here, except the ones out of our budget lmao

Moooddyyyyy
I love to see your art
how are you doing?

@Totalanimefan:
Either or! We're always open to wherever life takes us! As long as it is within range of oxygen XD we wont willingly return to CO

@Alchemists Fire:
That sounds nice having a little extra downtime <3
my work was actually busy today, but it was a half day shift so I was able to get stuff nothing done earlier >> tbh I just sat at my desk uselessly playing on the internet

~konting kembot nalang~
means just keep wiggling in my best friend's language XD

@Shadami:
Makes total sense. I hope you find that balance before long! Sometimes change takes time but sometimes opportunities can just... pop up outa nowhere very suddenly XD keep working hard and you'll get there!

@Totalanimefan:
Yes, depending how much the promotion is, I would 100% be looking for something else! His job also helps with moves, so we've been keeping all sorts of options open. Maybe we're addicted to change XD

@Alchemists Fire:
Safe travels!! Yay vacation :D

@Atropa Belladonna:
It was! I've been trying to cut back our grocery bills while still being healthy. Its taking a lot of brain thinking but we did it <3
granted our dishes could always be more flavorful if I add more to them, but it was probably healthier because I didn't do that! and still taste good

@Totalanimefan:
Thing is, at my job I'm REQUIRED to work there full time. If they knew I was considering another career path, they'd probably find the nearest reason to fire or lay me off The company is in the mindset of "if you're not with us 100% then you're not with us at all". Its even in my script I have to memorize for "tests" that we take (to brainwash us).

1. Believe in the Customer
2. Believe in the Product
3. Believe in yourself
4. Believe in the Company
5. Believe that Sales is an honorable profession

WHICH I cant say I hate THIS part of the test, cause its a good mindset to be in to be a good and honest sales person~ It just gets turned around on you if you ever doubt the job itself.

But yeah I think the best thing is just keep saving like you say! I might end up relying on my husband's job. They're treating him so well <3
They already want to promote him as soon as he's been working there long enough to qualify. That will give me more wiggle room possibly ;;
(I'm just impatient in nature)
I'm blessed that he's good at customer service and he doesn't hate it, cause gosh darn it seems like its the only thing that pays aside from delivery drivers

It was terrifying ;;
really changes your perspective a bit when you're across the country and something like this happens!
Its all because of the crazy gas inflation, he was only riding his motorcycle to work to save on money. The accident wasn't his fault by any measure, he was driving straight, in his own lane, and this dumbass girl with an expired license blew a stop sign and pulled right into him... On the wrong side of the road even. Which is so common when people turn, they turn so wide they swipe into the opposite lane ALL THE TIME and I often slam my breaks cause of it. People are just so careless on the road!
BUT SAME WITH MOTORCYCLE DRIVERS who do not wear GEAR! My dad was minutes away from dying on the asphalt and he was fully geared up. Those dumb butts I see darting between cars on the interstate here with no helm, no driving boots, no jacket.... *sigh*

I want to live in a world where driving isn't a necessity

Anyway, he has 2/3 motorcycles left and I swear to god if he tried relying on them again, I'ma drive back up there just to kick him
His jeep is safer against accidents like these.
