@Wildfire: So far, okay on my end. Woke up with the baby bubble up in my ribs. So, took a bit to let gravity pull him back down. =3= I woke up uncomfortable and cranky.
But I bought a flavored coffee and now I'm thinking of trying to accomplish things around the house today. My husband is home recovering from food issues yesterday.
@Hadsvich: I like pokemon, but this one was new to me, I had to google it. :d

My Entry:

Glad I did this, found out my tablet needed updates. CX
@Wildfire: My least favorite "help" from my daughter is when I say something like "maybe next time.." and next time rolls around and she goes "but you said..."
and I go "I said maybe, and today will be a no- just like last time. " XD

I really got to get my sewing machine fixed. There's a jam somewhere in it.
I've seen a bit of Ink Masters. It seems good. :3 not quite my cup of tea for shows, but my dad enjoyed watching it, so i watched it with him a bit.

@Purpsy: I googled it just now to see what you saw. lol. XD
I grew up where sleet meant the ground is warm enough to melt the snow on impact, but cold enough to freeze. So it's slushy-like snow falling from the sky.
I put snow tires on my car anticipating snow and now we have none. lol.
So my little car has this crunchy sound when it drives from the studded tires hitting the pavement/concrete.

@Purpsy: omgosh, nooo. I hope you don't get Sleet. Sleet is the worst. Especially when it's cold enough to freeze. Roads get slick, sidewalks, etc. e.e
-grabby hands- gimme your snowy weather lol .XD
@Wildfire: What show are you indulging in? C:
I've been feeling that antsy feeling to create something. But, that ever-looming feeling of everyday responsibilities is too much right now. XD
I'm assuming you hand sew the pieces together for the rug?

The bus driver waved to me as he drove off. I'm sure my daughter was on the bus going "YOU FORGOT ___" She's one of those kids that reminds you of things... constantly. lol!
@Wildfire: Is your new fabric rug coming along nicely?
I just spent a good minute or two laughing at the new bus driver for my daughter's pick up. It's a neighborhood not far from here with like.. at least 20 kids. They all generally wait until the very last second to race out of their houses to get the bus.
The new driver didn't know this. So there were 3 kids standing at the stop. He picked those ones up. I rolled down my window to my car [I park across the narrow street facing the bus], I pointed to the house with a couple of kids racing out the door. The bus driver opened the door again, those kids got on. He closed the door. I pointed to the house up the way as those kids were basically running like they were getting chased.
I finally heard the bus driver shout "How many more?!" to the bus kids.
Meanwhile, I'm giggling in my car.

-sips my coffee- hehe
@Wildfire: I got my foot in the door with a couple moms at the karate place, but I haven't straight-forwardly asked them for co-op help yet.
I go tomorrow, so I'll be able to talk to them a bit more. Two of the ladies are veteran homeschooler moms and super friendly. The other gal is new like me and has a younger kid.
We had some good convos last week, but I do need to be less shy and a little more forward.

I ended up going to the store and buying my 'menu' list for this weeks meals and getting a small bookshelf for my son's homework books. I'm putting that shelf together right now. :d
How was your day?
@Wildfire: I have a solid 10 weeks of being pregnant left and any weeks after that 10 weeks is a possible due date because of early-term prediction.
A bit more than 2 months, but still- it's going quicker now that Christmas is over and I'm being more laid back.
I'm sure once trimester 3 hits, time will slow down again. lol.
I got my son finished with his school day already, so that feels pretty good. It's early. I'm planning on going to the store to buy a shelf to de-clutter a bad corner.
I decided I want curtains in my kitchenette room. So I need to measure out what size rods I need and start investing in good, heavy curtains.

yay more pictures! <3

I had to use an uber once after a snowstorm in the city and they charged a ridiculous amount. :< That cost hurt more than the club costs that night.

@Purpsy: you guys still got a lot of snow from yesterday? is it already melting? :d
@Wildfire: -hands you a coffee- [wish I could]
Good morning.
I dropped my kiddo off at the bus stop this morning, and now I can't stop thinking about the question 'now how will I continue to do so with a baby?' XD
I only got 2 months left to think about these things. lol
I bought a coffee this morning from the local shop and now i'm home and debating what to do today.
@Wildfire: I'm looking at making a tomato/basil soup for as a side. Dip a grilled cheese sandwich in it. :3
The recipes I was finding were using heavy cream to make it a creamier soup.
I really need to try to be a little more daring in the kitchen and wing it. :O

I've survived a couple of tornado touch-downs and that helplessness is terrifying. My brother and I jumped into a ditch once as a smaller one tore about a quarter-mile away- which is really close for a tornado.
then, another time, my brother and I had to go down to the basement with the radio while the power went out and the windows rattled and the screen door opened and shut aggressively. XD
And my last time, my dad and I pulled under an interstate bridge and had to wait out the storm as his truck uncontrollably scooted a bit towards the tornado, which we couldn't see because it was dark and hailing outside. boi, I hate tornadoes.
