@Wildfire: lol, my chair is/was a 1970s designer chair. OTL there's no upgrading that uniqueness. My husband hates the chair because it's heavy as heck and weird shaped. lol! He's part of the reason it broke. So I keep saying "You broke my chair on purpose." and he goes "AAHG. no! I didn't mean to this time. Why would I break it when I know I have to be the one to carry it out?!"

I can't drive my car in this weather, the tires need to be changed out. So I walked around the block a couple times. I was totally baffled because I followed 2 out of 3 husky tracks and found those 2, but my puppy left the yard where I couldn't find her tracks at all. I found her only because I came inside to call my husband and she came back into our driveway. CX

Did your Christmas go well?
@Wildfire: I hope your christmas was nice. and Merry Christmas to you too.
Everything went along nicely for Christmas, all the planning my sister and I had done went along smoothly. Everyone had a place to sleep comfortably, plenty of food and lights, garland, tree, etc were cozy. I even got our pellet fireplace going most of the time, which made the whole house feel maybe a little too toasty.
My favorite chair/recliner broke from teenager shenanigans, so that was upsetting. But, it was mostly an accident, I couldn't get mad about it.

omg, I'm so cold. We finally got some snow and all 3 of my huskies scattered when I let them out this morning. so I just spent an hour parading my neighborhood looking for them all. =_='
My Christmas festivities are over and now I'm cleaning up from it all.
Howdy, I'm back online!
@Another Movie Addict: your avi looks amazing. :D

I'll be offline for a few days, most likely. Family shows up tonight and I got a feeling they'll keep me on my toes until after Christmas.
@Wildfire: I woke up with a similar problem, our roommate dumped dishes in the sink in the night instead of rinsing and putting them in the dishwasher. Man, he's in his 30s. :C
Getting schoolwork done with my son before winter break was a pain today, but we're freeee! I'm really excited to take a break from the homeschooling and dropping off and picking up with my other kiddo.
My husband got me to play video games with him this morning instead of stressing about chores n' stuff. But now he's napping to avoid chores and I'm in 'get stuff done' mode. XD
@Wildfire: I'm in a better mental headspace. And my sister's plans are back on to this weekend. lol! I took yesterday off because I was too aggravated to accomplish anything and the interruptions were non-stop. CX It was one of those days.

Give it a couple more years, your boys will be craving that childhood Christmas wonder and want to celebrate and be around family during the holidays. <33
from 17-23, I really didn't care about xmas.
My house hasn't come close to the "nobody lives here" setup. lol! 2 kids, 3 huskies, and 3 grown people living downstairs alone.
@Wildfire: yeah I suppose so, I just have a residual crankiness I'm trying to shake off.
I did get to do my errand to the post office, so that gave me some relief. :d
I haven't wrapped my kids' gifts, so that's haunting me pretty bad. I need to do that at night when they're in bed or playing the nintendo Switch..
There are still a few cluttered spaces I really need to do today and over the weekend. :O
@Wildfire: I got a feeling she's going to cheat her diet too. lol.
Lots of things in motion over here, my sister postponed coming for a couple of days, she needs to see a friend along the way. My husband borrowed my debit card and I was halfway to the store [thankfully not at the store] when I realized I didn't have it. =_=
And over the phone with my sis, we discussed lunch/dinner- lol, she also thinks her daughter is going to cheat a little bit.
I got mega cranky over the card situation though, I needed to send something off in the mail today and now I can't. :[
--herrrumph-
I suppose I'm going to go back to cleaning my room and tidying up the house.
@Wildfire: I'm mainly craving whip cream. lol! and it's a good way to start the day. I've always enjoyed sugar. C:
I believe you on the 2$ price jump. =;=' I went grocery shopping last night and there was a lot of food price jumps. :c My normal purchases went a little bit up in price.
I hunted down an expensive spice too. :d Cardamom. It's not common around here, so it was a top-shelf purchase.

I'm starting to get nervous about food accommodations. I don't have enough for grown humans, little humans, and 2 teens. :T I know my sister is going to help out on snacks, but meals.. are supposed to be my thing.
Turkey on xmas day, my sister's snack trays on xmas eve, and 6 days of no meal planning from me. XD and apparently my teen niece is trying to do some vegan diet which is not something I'm able to accommodate well at my house. :O
Good Morning. <3

It's a light coffee with whip cream kind of day. I got 2 days left before family arrives!
@Wildfire: I'm glad you might've figured out the source to your drowsiness. I know too much coffee dehydrates me and knocks me out. :T
Takes a lot of strong coffee to do that though, I've been doing about 1-2 light cups of coffee the last month or so. I just couldn't cut coffee off entirely.

I'll have to try and find a bottlenecked watering can. o3o

I got enough stuff done to feel a little bit accomplished. I found wheels to put under the daybed, so I moved that across the room without straining myself. We use a daybed as a couch and when we need more space, I put it in the corner of the room as a spare bed.
I managed to hang up everything in the christmas/game room that's been leaning against walls. I just need to hang up stocking hooks and that space will be ready for guests. <3
and I Vacuumed like a crazy person in there. ceiling, stairs, corners, etc. XD
@Wildfire: I love the smell of pine. lol. <3 I gotta figure out how to get more water to my tree's base. I need to cut a few lower branches. o3o
I need to use my energy for cleaning before I crash.
I just ate a big lunch and now I wanna nap. uhg.
@Wildfire: yeah, I don't know. We have one working washer and dryer upstairs, but being pregnant and making trips with kids, mine, and my husbands' clothes consistently has sucked this week. So I'll be calling the warranty company after lunch today to get their verdict, all while I'll keep the contract up on my side so they don't try and loop-hole me.

Gosh, I hope you start to feel better and you're not getting sick with anything. Sounds like the beginning of a virus/bug.
@Wildfire: Yesterday, I had a guy come by to tell me what can be done about my broken washer. He said nothing. The machine is 10 years old and fused out. Everything is fried. So he's going to try and help me get my home warranty company to help me pay for a new one- since they've basically been useless to me. CX
I'm going to try and finish what I started yesterday and hang things up on walls. Then hang up more garland inside the house since I have a few extra strands.

I hope you get a bit more energy today, drink water, and eat berries? [this is my go-to suggestion for lack of energy] XD
