@Wildfire: Yeah, I'll definitely be disappearing a lot through December here.
I got a lot of stuff to try and accomplish by Christmas.
I just went hiking [walking up a hill lol] with my son today. I'm pooped. omg. I've spent the last couple of months being an absolute potato. lol.
We did like a 1 1/2 mile or 2 miles walk around.

I disappeared yesterday.
I spent all day wrapping gifts and I'm only 1/3rd done with it. T^T

@Purpsy: omg! yesss, I live on the west coast, and half the people I've met Won't drive on snowy days because they admit they don't know-how.
We've had one snowy day and I drove it with ease and watched some 4+ cars slide or end up in ditches.


@Wildfire: My daughter gets extra cringy when she sees someone embarrassing themselves on tv. BUT she'll do something embarrassing and won't even bat an eye. XD kids, man.
My sister is still shopping. omgosh. she's hittin' up those Black Friday & Cyber Monday sales now.

@Purpsy: I'm jealous of your snow! Wish we were getting snow instead of half-snow, half-rain road death. XD When it rains now, it rains a little bit with snow and makes our roads a circus.


@Wildfire: You're trying to take advantage of Black Friday sales? oof! Hectic! We attempted 2 small stores this weekend for their sales and both places were crowded enough, we didn't stick around long.
Elf was great to see in the theater. My daughter couldn't hide when there were embarrassing scenes. lol!

@Wildfire: I've been offline this weekend too. :d
This weekend has felt so long. We did thanksgiving, I cooked a lot with my roommate.
Then, we had a 'I feel fat' day, followed by a mid-day trip to the movie theater to see a re-showing of 'Elf'.
My local theater is so accomodating. We were only one family of 2 that showed up for the showing.

I'll likely be offline more often, I have a lot of things to do before Christmas.

@Wildfire: lol! The books are real, and are a really easy read. I think used online, they're between 4-11$ each. :d It feels like reading a knock-off Castle episode. XD There are only 6 books. :3

I'm spending today cleaning because this is the worst I've let my house go since moving in and of course, my mom had to stop by. =3= She was on a road trip getting my Aunt to a different state, so they went out of their way a bit to visit me. :3 I'm glad they did.

I went to a specialist, they primarily focused on a very long ultrasound. The specialist was a short visit and seemed .. unconcerned with my condition. so I guess that's good, but didn't help my uneasy feeling. /sigh/

I'm okay today, Burnt out and I just want my home to be clean. So I'm crabby and bossing my kids around and getting things done myself.
I'm feeling a residual annoyance from the last couple of days and today, no one got the trash out to the road with our can overflowing. so.. just.. annoyed. :<

@Wildfire: If you're watching Castle as well, you should know the Nikki Heat books are actually printed and real. lol. I just found out, so I'm reading "Heat Wave" currently as we progress through the second season.

I've been super busy the last couple of days, I had subway the other night. I had my specialist appointment yesterday. Not only that but my mom and aunt did a surprise visit. I should have known she'd go out of her way on her road trip to see us. My house looks like a twister hit it.
oh well.

I used to watch Monk pretty often. Right now, I'm really enjoying Castle for my preferred crime show. :3

@Wildfire: I'm confused with the black spotting.. would that be a mold of some kind? a bug issue, dirt? =O

I began cleaning my house and all I want is subway... now I just want to go to the grocery store just to go next door and get subway.. XD
I've vacuumed and did a load of dishes. I need to do a handful of gift wrapping and I'll be done with that for today.

@Purpsy: <3 I hope your 'meh' day gets better. :3

silly stocking stuffers just arrived and I'm heavily amused by my family's choice of silly stocking gifts this year. XD
It's those 'splat' balls that look like eggs and whatever else. Christmas morning with teenagers and children is about to get wild. I got a feeling more than one person is about to get a splat ball to the face.

@Purpsy: my morning is getting fairly busy. :d It's not bad. I got coffee from the shop down the road and ate a burrito.
I had a good conversation with a former roommate over the phone. She's been stressed over some unresolved stuff when she moved out. So we were able to clear that up today.
So far so good, I'm probably going to clean soon and wrap some more presents. :d

@Purpsy: Good afternoon, it's still morning here. hehe.
How are you doing?

@Wildfire: My driveway looks naked. We cut a bunch of trees down and now my house looks exposed. lol. But I plan on planting a shorter tree type along the road to give us a sense of privacy again.
In our back yard, the dang holly berry bushes are growing back and they're all over. Their root system is insanely wide. I hate them. >(
But I've taken a break from yardwork, it's too cold here now. :d

I'd totally love to see progress pics as your tropical plants begin to grow~ :D

@Wildfire: I got snowed in for a little over a week once and ran out of disposable diapers, so my mom's stash of cloth diapers came in super handy on the last 2 days of that snow-in.
I ended up spending yesterday navigating the guys to cut down trees and move branches out of the driveway.
Is your garden starting to look 'naked' with how much you are clearing space for new things?

I went and got a tall chai this morning and am ready to start my day. :3

@Wildfire: I don't want to hoard a bunch of baby things when I'm still possibly teetering on a 50/50 or 75/25 percent chance of success. I do have an appointment this week that will give me more answers and maybe more reassurance that things are better than I think.
I ended up buying cloth diapers, I don't plan on using them, but with my last kiddo, they came in super handy as an emergency supply. :3 They were only .50 cents each. :D
