Azazel followed her out the door, and down the hallway. They took the stairs down, opting to avoid the elevator, and made their way down to the ground floor.

Once they were at the rear entrance/exit of the building, Azazel peered out the window and looked around.

"........hm." he mumbled.

"Doesn't look like there's anybody." he said.

"If we're gonna make a break for your vehicle, we should do it now."

"Huh. Fair enough." Azazel replied.

"Well... guess I should say goodbye to this town." he sighed.

"It's been my home ever since I left... that place..." he mumbled.

"But I'm not welcome here any longer." he lamented.

"Because... well... yeah." he muttered further, gingerly touching the horns on his head.

"Ah yeah, you told me that earlier or something." Azazel replied.

He then looked at the food and ate what he could, before slipping the rest into some containers that had been provided.

"Okay." he said, as he finished his drink.

"We can book it at any time." he told her.

"Guess we need to check out?" he asked.
Posted in Delving into the Abyss Posted 7 years ago
"Sure." Azazel replied.

"You driving, or am I?" he asked her, as he made his way to the food.

"And you want some of this?" he asked further.

"I mean, half of it IS yours." he reasoned.

"....seems so." Azazel replied.

"The Unit is really the only place that accepts me." he said.

"The human world fears and reviles me, the demon world shuns and tortures me." he muttered.

"Really... yeah. The Unit is the only place that comes close to somewhere I belong." he sighed.

He then shook his head, and fell to his ass.

"Wonder how long before they realize where we are..."
Posted in Delving into the Abyss Posted 7 years ago
"You're probably right." Azazel responded.

"But I think we're safe in here for now." he said. "I don't think they know we're here, and they didn't see me fly to this building, specifically." he reasoned.

"...best not to push our luck for too long, though..." he then muttered.

"Regardless, I suppose it's a good thing I didn't really have a lot in my place." he went on.

"I mean, clothes and some food and basic necessities, but nothing of any real sentimental value." he said further, before there was a bit of a prolonged silence... followed by a deep sigh.

"Mm." Azazel muttered.

"Hmmm..." he mumbled further, as he squinted into the distance.

"Yeah, that didn't take long." he said.

"Firstly, duly noted on the warning." he told her.

"Secondly, I guess I don't have to worry about gathering anything from my place." he went on.

"Pretty sure the smoke I see is coming from my place." he sighed.

"No." Azazel responded.

"Very well." Sharp replied.

"I expect to be updated on your situation and position frequently." he told them, before disconnecting.

".....hm." Azazel muttered.

"I suppose I have no choice but to head back to the Unit." he commented.
Posted in Delving into the Abyss Posted 7 years ago
"Eh?" Sharp muttered.

"Is that so." he said.

"Mm." Azazel mumbled.

"Yeah... pretty sure my life is in danger if I stay here." he lamented.

"He's always been welcome here." was all Sharp told Aedan.
Posted in Delving into the Abyss Posted 7 years ago
"......" Sharp was silent as he heard all that, before typing quickly on a keyboard.

"I've dispatched a group to do clean up." he told her.

"Deal with the remaining coven." he said.

"And you went... to where he lived?" he asked.

"...we did." Azazel responded.

"I'm ordering you back here for psychological evaluation." Sharp then told Aedan.

Azazel just looked away sheepishly, as Aedan made the call.

After a couple of rings, it was answered.

"Finally!" Sharp said.

"Both your lines went dead suddenly!" he told her.

"Status update!" he went on.

"Reports of satanic and demonic activity in that town are flying through various news outlets!" he continued.

"What the hell happened there!?"

Azazel was silent again for a moment.

"Ah... I did not." he admitted.

"I've been... preoccupied." he told her.

"Controlling myself... worrying about you..." he mumbled further, scratching the back of his head, and then clearing his throat loudly.

"Go ahead and contact him." he said.

"If you feel up to it."

"Back?" Azazel asked.

"As in, how much time has passed since we escaped from Hell?" he asked further.

When she nodded, he sighed.

"Not... that long, actually." he told her.

"Probably close to... an hour?" he guessed.

"I don't know the exact time, but I DO know it's hovering close to an hour."

"....." Azazel was silent as she said that.

"I wouldn't be so sure." he said.

"Regardless, you're out of there, now." he told her.

"You're back in the hotel. You're safe." he said further.

He then looked around, and sighed when he saw a tray that had been wheeled in.

"...looks like the room service we ordered before is here." he commented.

"Not sure how long it's been, though." he admitted. "Time gets... REALLY distorted down there..." he mumbled.
