"I should be fine." Al responded.
He then looked around, before getting the towels he'd need, getting the drink, and making his way into the bathroom.
He shut the door behind him, and Aedan soon heard the water running in the large tub that was in there.
The water ran for a while, before it stopped...
...and the she heard a VERY relieved "Ahhhhh...!"[/b] from Al, meaning he'd gotten in, and it had been a long time coming.

Al just sighed again.
"I... agree on all fronts." he said.
"Seriously, not one thing you said, I disagree with." he told her.
"I'd be content if the public didn't even know I existed." he added with a small shake of his head, before he finished the rest of his food, sans the second drink, which still had 3/4ths left in it.
"I'm going to take this to the washroom and soak for a while." he said.
"Knock if there's an issue or problem or whatever." he told her.

Al paused when he heard that.
"What?" he asked.
"What do you mean?" he asked her.
"Not that it'd be all that horrible?" he parroted back in a confused tone.
"Do you not like the public?"
"What?" he asked.

Al looked over towards her, and blinked a few times.
"Wow." he said.
"Makeup is amazing." he commented.
"You look much different without it." he said further.
"Not that that's a bad thing." he then clarified.
"Just... me stating the obvious, I suppose..."

"....I see." Al replied.
"That's... yeah... that does suck." he agreed.
"But at least you seem to have a good attitude." he went on.
"Anyway..." he muttered further, as he finished one of the drinks he had.
"After I finish the second meal, I'm going to soak in the bathroom." he told her.
"May... take my time." he then warned.

Al just looked away for a moment.
"Mm." he mumbled.
"Fair enough..." he said.
"I shouldn't be surprised." he went on.
"How can you tell?" he then asked her.
"Is that a zombie thing?"
"Mm." he mumbled.

Al seemed to freeze up completely when Aedan said what she did.
"I..." he stammered.
"Ah... I..." he stuttered further.
"I am who I am." he said.
"That's all." he told her.
"Please don't try and dig any deeper." he asked her.
"....please?"

Al was silent for a moment.
"Well... I was... essentially... kicked out of my home." he told her.
"Sharp discovered me while he was on vacation." he said further.
"And... well, the rest is history, I suppose." he went on.
"I live in this town, and it seemed like I was the perfect operative for missions or cases that happened here." he added with a small shrug.

"Thank you." Al responded.
"For understanding, that is." he said.
"And being so patient." he added.
He then continued to eat, pausing to speak only after finishing one of the meals he'd ordered.
"So how did you come to work for the Unit?" he asked her.

Al looked over towards the mirror, and, regarding his own reflection, sighed.
"Yeah. I do." he agreed.
"I should take a shower soon." he said.
"Odds are I really stink." he went on, before grabbing one of his fries and eating it.
"...after I finish this." he muttered.
"My stomach's craving this."

Al was silent for a moment.
"Uh... well... hm." he said.
"It's been my understanding that these witches need to be stopped. Sooner, rather than later." he told her.
"So... it won't take me too long to recover, so I can help." he went on.
"Also, Sharp may have meant that you're the most senior member HERE." he continued.
"After all, I AM fairly new..." he admitted quietly.

"Do whatever you feel is right." Sharp replied.
"You're in charge, Aedan." he told her.
"As the most senior member of the Unit, you have the authority to stop this now, press further on, or whatever you desire." he said further.
"I have faith in you." he went on.
"BOTH of you."
"You're in charge, Aedan." he told her.

"I'm here!" Al shouted.
"She DID save me!" he added.
"Good!" Sharp responded.
"How are you feeling?" he asked Al.
"A bit worse for the wear, but I'll recover." the young male responded.
"Good." Sharp replied, before turning his attention to Aedan.
"You know what to do from here?" he asked her.

Al shook his head.
"No. I haven't." he told her.
"But I have seen... a lot." he muttered.
"I've seen brutality and savagery, and even worse." he sighed.
"Things that would cause most to go insane." he told her further.
"But such things I'd rather not discuss."
