I think having the motivation of a job might help push me to practice more frequently.

I just signed up to be a door dasher (one of those 3rd party delivery services).
After a lifetime of being terrified of driving, I never EVER thought this to be something I could even consider doing.
I'm a bit nervous but after about 6 months of practicing driving on my own (I knew how to drive for a lot longer, but suffered panic attacks too much to do it. So, yes, I'm 28 and have only been driving for 6 months), I think I have a good enough feeling that I can do this, just a little bit at a time. I haven't been panicking as much. When I get scared, I'm learning how to take control over my mind and stay focused. Which is an improvement, considering I used to full black out until I run into something or hit the breaks.
I've even found a couple of roads here to be my "comfort roads" where I never get scared on them. I can get almost anywhere by mostly relying on those.

And I need money
My job ain't scheduling me
but my availability is too limited with college so getting another/second job is a bit tricky. Plus, pandemic.
Art has been my side gig, and so far my recent orders have kept my head above water.
I almost signed up for customer service positions over the phone, but I honestly prefer being terrified in my car than to talk to people in that much length.

So that's just a last resort idea.

Maybe doing a job like this little by little can help me grow more confident in driving too. That's what I hope, cause I really want to get better!

before quarantine, I was under a LOT of stress. Like, constantly breaking down and it was affecting my attitude towards people.
this stay-at-home deal has physically removed me from the toxic environment and for the first time in like 6 months I feel like me again. Been drawing loads and working on a comic that I've wanted to revise for a while <33

In the story I'm working on, she ends up cursed with some dark magic (to put it real simple) and is faced with the possibility of becoming possessed entirely by a demon. Soooooo she's under a tid bit of stress. But she adapts to the situation as best as possible, determined to maintain control over herself. Strong willed.

No more assignments for a couple of weeks!

Took my anatomy and physiology final this morning already and I feel like I did okay on it. Minus one question that was like "a wheelbarrow and standing heel raise exercise is this kind of lever blablabla"

Now I'm taking a mini break since I'm not in a conference call anymore.
My Pathology instructor sent me my final for that class early so I can work on it if I want, since it's an open book final. Figured I might as well do it now while I'm in work-mode! During our wednesday conference call I can just read over it all again as a post-test study or something.

My only other final has been postponed cause its a physical Swedish massage, but I did the paper test last week. So other than that, I'll be all done with classes until April 6!! :'D
I hated these classes so much. I'm so glad to move on

Helped me a lot to fix a dull character design I have :D Pretty much everything else was the same, but adding the blue in the hair just makes the design pop
and now I wanna redesign her with that idea in mind

By definition it probably sounds boring, you're the only human in a village of animals and you just moved in, struck a loan deal with a racoon. Every time you pay it off, you get to upgrade your house, ending up with an even higher loan than before. So you're just running around scraping up bells (the currency) while also mingling with various animal NPC's, completing mini tasks for them or just saying howdy. Also hoarding everything you can get your hands on. Fish. Insects. Furniture/decor.

I think people love the game either for nostalgia, the cute aesthetics, collectathon concepts or for the amazingly adorable animal personalities and designs. <3

I see, that's got to be rough. I hear a lot of jobs are majorly cutting staff like that to save money. It makes sense from a business stand point but its sucky
