@totalanimefan:
Yeah, I've been paying my tuition with inheritance from my great aunt who passed away a couple years ago. Then I got accepted by a couple of scholarships, a family discount cause bf's mother went to this school (its a local, small school so I guess they can do that), a 1k off coupon and another $500 bribe cause transportation was almost impossible, and the school was basically like "but is it $500 possible?" and I'm like fuck it, yeah :vanora_xd:
In the end I only pay 5k out of pocket, and 2k in a loan that I can pay off fast. So I got hella lucky

Right, exactly. I only sign up as an artist so its also the time it takes to draw the things. I have to wait for my acceptance, then wait for my theme to be delivered so I can start, and hope that it all falls into my schedule just right.
My life usually changes drastically between months for some reason, so I've already had to turn one down that accepted me cause when I signed up, I had SO MUCH downtime. But when I got accepted, I was busy moving across city suddenly xD

Zines are like miniature magazines, sort of? They're made by anybody who just wants to gather a theme and put it into a little booklet. I usually search zines on twitter and see if there are any looking for artists, then I sign up if I'm interested!
They are usually focused on a fandom or a specific thing that they request for you to draw.
Sometimes zines sell for profit, but a lot of them sell for charity! I actually want to try getting into this zine if they start it!
@pachi:
SAME
and now other people are gonna have my art in their hands and its an odd but nice feeling. All the artists that I spoke to in the zine sounded really lovely and excited too <33

Lmao I'm gonna have to look him up now. Sounds silly
And nah, they're adults, they're too immature for this xD
@kingslowpoke:
Oh geez, I mean... I'm not sure if I'm more amazed of such an unusual way to make a fire, or by the fact that she can brush her hair while using a blow dryer at the same time.
I can barely deal with a dryer :vanora_xd:

Ohh really? This one didn't have any drama (at least none publicly). Just occasionally someone (me) asking where things were at with it.
I do really wish there was more communication cause I ended up missing my chance to order an extra copy for my sister. But its a non-issue really :vanora_xd: Im pretty passive about these sorta things

@grost:
Yeah, I really don't mind the wait since production can take a while anyways. I just wish there was more communication? Like a biweekly or monthly update on what's the happs. But its alright, just something to consider if I ever make my own. Which I kind of want to in the future :vanora_xd:
I love

AH
AAAAAAH
I'm so happy about this
It's been over a year since I drew the piece, and communication with the people working on it was nonexistent. They said It'd ship out last year in may, then never responded until I think november? Then never told us what was going on and went silent again. so I honestly gave up.
Now I wanna hit up all zines--if only I had the time to fully commit to these things! I love sharing a space with other artists like this <33

I mean, they are usually the reason I go to olive garden in the first place, I love them!
But its alright, a little waste of food but I'm glad that if I'm to make accidents happen today, that THAT is all it is :'D
@booderdooder:
Aww, if you ever feel crafty enough, look up breadstick recipes? If you can get a good garlic spread, you'd just "paint" it on the dough before baking it. I wonder how amazing that'd be in comparison :vanora_heart:

@sunny:
Thanks, there was a moment and I ceased it :vanora_xd:
@priestess of pie:
It actually only happened in front of one initially. Someone else overheard her when she was getting the maintenance guy to check if it's safe to open the microwave (I thought it was since fire was gone, but didn't wanna worry her so I waited). But yeah, gossip spreads faster than these breadsticks went up!
I've only had sparks happen once before but normally I pay enough attention to the materials I'm holding. Today's just one of those off days and my hands were only feeling paper haha
@booderdooder:
yes
these to-go bags are secretly foil
:vanora_xd:
It gets even better
when I was at the restaurant last night, it was really busy and they ran out. So I didn't get any for appetizer sicne they were baking more. Then the waitress forgot by the time they finished cause we already had our main course and, yeah, it was busy. So we were like, can we take them home for dessert instead?
We were too full to eat them right away, so they would be leftovers for later.
For fire
