He smiled at his words. Kaito sighed inwardly. "I just meant, maybe he can help figure out what's wrong.. It's a long shot, but.. He seems to know more than I do about our kind.." He murmured quietly, unsure of the idea of talking with his brother.

Kaito chuckled. "My brother..might know.." He murmured quietly after a moment. Once the mask was changed out he smirked some. "How about that walk you mentioned?" He asked curiously.

Kaito couldn't stop smiling at the words spoken. "Yeah.. If we.can even figure.out what's wrong with me." He murmured quietly, then finished off his soup. He was feeling a bit better, but he wasn't over whatever it was.

(Eh, I guess? Lol.)

Did they really think he'd stay away? It was cute, really. Zero was close enough to the house to hear her when she opened the door and spoke, but stayed out of sight. It wasn't hard to find them. Kaneko's scent was easy to track, even for a half breed like himself. "You really do smell good.." He murmured with a small smirk once she went back inside. Why was he going out of his way for someone who didn't remember him? They were 'friends' so to speak. He was a hunter of ferals, and other hunters. He was a hunter and a protector, and he used to have a partner.

While Allen slept, Zero kept a safe distance from the house only wanting to keep an eye on any unwelcome visitors.

Kaito smiled and nodded lightly as he slowly ate his soup. "I'm glad, I can make someone happy." He murmured quietly. How !omg would it last? He hoped a lifetime.

Kaito chuckled quietly as he watched Fijore, happy he was smiling. He nodded some and carefully removed the mask so he could eat his soup.

Kaito smiled as he spoke. "I do, Fijore." He murmured quietly. "It looks good." He said truthfully.

Kaito chuckled. "Course." He murmured quietly, closing his eyes to focus on breathing. He was breathing better, but he was still having minor difficulties without the mask on.

Kaito blinked. "Rest? Isn't it time for dinner?" He asked.

He nodded some. Kaito was pouting a little now. A stubborn doctor and a stubborn patient, perfect. Right? "Somehow I keep forgetting you're a doctor." He joked lightly, offering him a teasing smirk.

Kaito removed the mask and slowly sat up. "I think it was just a twenty-four hour bug." He murmured quietly. "I hope so anyway." He chuckled, glancing at him as he spoke about maybe doing something later. He nodded without needing an explanation. "Sure." He smiled. Whatever he wanted to do, he'd gladly take part.

Kaito slowly inhaled and glanced back at the door way. "Yeah.." He said softly. "I hope not." He chuckled quietly, as far as not letting him go.

Kaito glanced at Valern when he spoke, offering the boy a small smile. "Your brother... I care about him very much. He's given me something I haven't had in a very long time." He said quietly.
