Kaito frowned some at his words but decided against pushing, and simply followed Fijore as they walked. No matter how he felt, they were very different and a like at almost the same time, and he'd have to to get to know the different sides of Fijore and how to better approach him depending on his mood or how he was feeling.

Kaito glanced at him once more as he spoke. That was true.. But with everything else he had told him about his brother, he still wouldn't feel right about leaving him alone. As he spoke, Kaito kept an eye on Fijore as he noticed how pale he was, the came the cough and he was worried now. "Hey.. " He murmured quietly. "You're not well..are you?" He asked in a very concerned voice. It was plain as day now and he wanted nothing more than to get Fijore back home quickly.

Kaito blinked and glanced at Fijore when he spoke, not entirely catching his meaning. He lowered his ruby eyes some. "I didn't see anything.. Besides that, I wouldn't have blamed you if you did rip me a new one. I wrote that note without thinking about how protective you are of Valern." He said quietly. "I probably had you thinking I'd left him all alone when I left.." He murmured, guilt creeping into his quiet voice. "Either way, those guys probably would've kept up until my feathers fell out or worse if you hadn't have showed up."

The way they had him binded gave him no way to break free or fight back without doing serious damage. He had endured worse than what they did to him, but he wouldn't be leaving the house anytime soon.

He shook his head. "No, he's definitely one or the other.. His scent was misleading though." Like he was covering it up. The guy had mentioned dealing with ferals..so he had to be a type of hunter, but he kept quiet about that as he didn't want to worry Kaneko. Allen nodded. "If I happen to stumble across him next time I hunt, I'll ask him." Surely next time, he'd be in his right mind and not border-line lusting for blood. He drank more of tea and bumped a book that was on the table as he set his cup down.

Allen carefully picked it up and smiled some. "Which one is this?" He asked curiously, happy that she had taken a liking to his old books.

Maddie chuckled , then blinked and glanced at the list. Right, toys! She had been distracted and nearly forgot about the list in her hand. She nodded some and smirked. "Toys is the last thing on the list, unless you want to get him a cat brush." She noted casually.

Hmm.. He was still a baby, so maybe they should stick to soft toys? Like one of those sticks with the feather on the end of a string? Oh, that sounded fun! "Hey Clint, can we see if they have any feather toys?" She asked curiously.

Takashi chuckled and as he walked out to the car that waited for them with his cousin on his shoulders and nodded lightly, sounding a tired yet content grunt. He first set Mitsukuni in the car before climbing in himself and buckling his seat belt, then they were taken home.

Alice quietly followed the twins as they led her to the car. Her chest had started to hurt a little earlier, due to everything that was going on getting to her, but she hadn't had any problems until they made their way to the car. Walking seemed to have aggravated her tightened chest and as soon as she got her seat belt on she slowly tried some breathing exercises.

Kaito couldn't help smirking a tiny bit. "Let's go back so you can get cleaned up and everything." He said, refraining from reaching out and putting a hand on his shoulder like he wanted to do. He left walked off with Fijore and left the stranger. Kaito didn't care who he was, he didn't know him and it wouldn't have mattered if the beating was meant for him or not.

The fact remained that they were a dying breed and he let his guard down, knowing there were demons out there who wanted to sell their feathers and magic, or energy on the black market.

Allen was quiet as she spoke, and carefully sipped from his tea. He shook his head and set his tea down at her question. "Not really.. He smelled neither human nor vampire but he knew I lived here at some point. He asked me what it felt like being home after all these years.." He murmured calmly, taking another small sip from his tea.

Maddie nodded lightly. "Think we should get some of that litter dust? I think it's supposed to help with the odor." She asked curiously, glancing at him briefly. Oh hey, they had those litter box liners too! Neat! Were they even worth the money? She glanced at him when he spoke and shrugged her shoulders lightly. "I don't remember exactly, either." She murmured with a light chuckle. Science sounded right, she just couldn't remember what branch of science it involved.

By the end of the club Takashi had picked up his cousin after gathering their things, and placed him on his shoulders as he often did. He glanced at Mia and bid her goodbye for now, and he'd wait for her to go before leaving. As did the host members do when it came to their guests. They left afterwards.

The weekends were probably the only time he and his cousin weren't connected at the hips, since they didn't live together. He didn't live far though, so if a certain blonde got bored he could always run by his house.

Alice thought it was interesting how the boys acted a lot like lovers in front of the other girls, and giggled quietly a couple of times at how Hikaru seemed to be the 'dominate' one of the two when it came their little act and seeing Kaoru react was quite amusing. She was pulled into their little act briefly though and she found herself blushing quite darkly.

At the end of it, she watched as the girls began to leave, glancing at the twins and shaking her head lightly. Of course she was tired! That afternoon had been quite..something.. "We don't need to stop for anything, besides I have a very comfy bed waiting for me at your place." She lightly teased.

Gaito subtly watched the other as he walked over to a bolder and sat silently, then watched as he stood back up after speaking, feeling just a little protective after the events that had unfolded moments ago.

Kaito glanced at him and bit the inside of his cheek. Why wouldn't he want to go back? He probably just saved his life, again! Only this was more direct and physically. "I feel like part of this is my fault.. I shouldn't have left.. But.. I always went back.. I swear.. " He spoke cautiously and quietly, not wanting to trigger him nor give too much detail with the stranger around. He always went back to check and tend to Valern, except this time of course. He wouldn't leave the kid to himself, no way. "If you don't absolutely hate me, then of course I'd go back with you."

Gaito picked up Kaito and flew out of the building, not going far so the other guy could easily find them. When he landed, he glanced down at him and removed the blindfold and gave him a sympathetic expression. "Sorry about what they did to you.. It wasn't meant for you." He said quietly.

He glanced up when he noticed the other guy had found them and slowly set Kaito down on his feet, only he stayed close. "You're still pretty angry.. What're you going to do with him?" Gaito asked, knowing he had found his brother, even though he was unaware he even had one.

Allen nodded lightly to her words as he followed her back to their cozy little house. How far had he gone? Surely if he had been paying attention, he wouldn't have wandered out that far.. Then again.. That guy had taken him further into the woods to look for foxes..

He was relieved to be back home as Kaneko helped him up the stairs and easily followed her into the kitchen once inside. He sat down in one of the chairs around the table and took in the scent of the tea she had poured into a cup for him. Allen blinked his milky eyes at the question and lowered his eyes some, nodding lightly. "I met someone.. He seems to know me from a different time but I don't remember him. I had help..hunting.. I warned him though, about coming near our house.. I don't want him trying anything.."

Maddie couldn't help giggling when she noticed how his nose scrunched up at the mention of the litter box. "Don't worry, I'll be the one who cleans up after him." She said casually as she lightly pushed her red bangs out of her face. She walked with him to find the litter and litter boxes, blinking when he mentioned naming the little guy Nimbus, after the cloud. "I read about it." She murmured, nodding some. "Oh cool, I think that name is alright and it'd be unique." She said with a small smirk. After all, how many cats had the name Nimbus?
