Kaito had dozed off some in the time Fijore had gone upstairs. He had eaten most of soup and his ginger ale as well, and was feeling better. He was really tired though, from not sleeping last night.

Maddie smiled and nodded lightly to his words in agreement. So true. He might still try to though.. She wondered if There was away to avoid that? "I think that's everything." She said, glancing at him.

With nothing else to think about, Maddie's mind began to drift and notice just how many people had started come my into the store, and little things. 'No, no, no.' She thought to herself, shaking her head lightly and trying to think about something else.

Takashi joined his mother at the table for dinner and the two are quietly. There wasn't much else to talk about. Later that night Takashi went to bed after taking a shower and thought about what tomorrow might be like.

Alice quietly followed the twins into the other room while they waited for their food. She relaxed easily in the large house and ate slowly once the food came. She wasn't in much of a talkative mood but she did have small talk with their mom when she joined them. "Um.. Would it be alright if I stayed here, for a bit?" She asked softly. It has been so long, she felt like she had to ask.

Kaito nodded lightly and lifted his head some, sipping from his ginger ale. He needed to eat.. Fijore was right about that. When the man left, he set aside the soda and carefully picked up the bowl of soup before slowly beginning to eat.

Kaito ran his hand through his hair as Fijore spoke. That's what he figured.. Damn. "I did.." He murmured quietly, lowering his head. "I don't know what I was thinking.." He murmured, thanking him for the ginger ale and sipping from the glass.

Allen brushed his thumb over her hand as they talked, wanting to hold her hand as long as he could. "I can't help it.." He murmured quietly. "I worry about those men taking you from me.. They won't stop coming unless I'm dead or you're back home, your father won't stop sending them after us." He murmured quietly, allowing his worries to spill out.

Kaito sighed quietly and leaned into the chair some. "Question, what're the side effects of missing a dose or two of that medicine you gave me?" He asked curiously.

Kaito shook his head as Fjore dodged his question. "I don't know.. Stomach has been weird today, but I'm sure it's nothing." He said calmly. "I've been eating pretty good here lately." He said with a small smirk. Would it hurt if he missed one meal? "You need rest.." He murmured softly.

Kaito stayed to himself mostly, reading the journal until Valern came down. He glanced over and subtly watched him take the plate and go back up to his room.

By the time Fijore returned, Kaito still hadn't touched the plate which was odd since he was eating pretty regularly since he started staying with the doctor. He set the journal down and glanced at him when he noticed him sit next to him. "How'd it go?" He asked curiously.

Kaito slowly and quietly closed the door, not wanting to wake him. Fijore had made them both breakfast, he'd bring it to him once the boy was up and around. Kaito quietly made his way downstairs and sat on the couch in the living room, picking up the old journal and reading where he left off.

Kaito woke shortly after falling asleep due to a nightmare he hadn't had since starting his meds. Putting his hand over his face, he sat up before slipping out of the bed and washing his face. How many days had it been? His usually calm eyes were brightened with panic and he didn't look so great either. Did he forget to take his meds? He couldn't remember much besides relaxing with Fijore most of the night, and early morning.. After drying his face, he headed into the main house and wandered into the kitchen where he found the note.

He ran a hand through his messy dark hair and quietly went to check on Valern.

Kaito lazily glanced out the window when Fijore nudged him, and he chuckled quietly. "Looks like it.." He murmured quietly, his eyes slowly closing as he began to doze.
