"....." Adym was silent once more for a moment.

"Yes. You're right." he said.

"It's pointless to dwell on it." he agreed.

He then sighed, and looked out a nearby window, before looking back at Callie.

"...there's... one more thing I think you should know." he said.

"Your last name... Icesska... is a big one here in Adaminia." he informed her.

"It's... it's royalty."

"I can see that you're still not the best right now." Adym said.

"We can stay here a bit longer." he told her.

"The forest should be able to repair itself and heal... decently quickly." he continued.

"And maybe my home can prosper again." he muttered.

"...would this have happened if I left?" he then wondered aloud.

"Did I actually damn this place when I thought I was saving it...?"

He nodded in response.

"100% agree." he said.

"He needs to be stopped, sooner, rather than later." he said further.

"...we may need to go to the Seer again." he went on.

"Try and get her advice and guidance." he continued.

"It's all I can think of right now."

"......I don't know." Adym responded.

"But it can't be anything good." he said.

"See... when a crux passes on, their power is immediately reborn into an infant." he explained. "It keeps the balance of this world." he continued.

"However, I have reason to believe that Vyran is killing the cruxes... but somehow keeping their power from being cycled." he went on.

"I believe he's trying to harness all the power together for... well, himself." he said further.

"I don't know to what end, specifically." he then admitted.

Adym looked at her, and smirked as well.

"See, I know a LITTLE of the prophecy." he said.

"And apparently if enough forces come together, they can overcome the darkness." he told her.

"...or... something like that..." he muttered.

"Regardless, I think that if we manage to get enough cruxes together, we can defeat him." he went on.

"So hunting them out would be best. Find them before HE does."

"....I don't know." Adym admitted.

"I only know so much about the cruxes and what all of them are, or the legend surrounding them, or even anything about the man." he went on.

"I'm sorry." he apologised.

"But I promise I'll help you find answers." he then told her.

"I'll help you regain your memories." he vowed.

"And I'll keep you safe from Vyran."

Adym was silent, before nodding.

"Indeed." he replied.

"This... this world is your home." he told her.

"But your father... he took you to the other world to try and hide you from the one hunting the cruxes." he continued.

"But you were found... and you were being taken here by him." he went on.

"I intervened to try and save you, but it seemed like he robbed you of your memories of this place in the process." he then added, guilt heavy in his tone.

Adym was really not sure how to respond to that.

She had asked him to figure out where she fit into all of this.

And he knew things. Things she didn't, that she should. But was it too much to tell her?

He then just sighed.

"All right." he said.

"I will." he told her.

"....Callie... you've been here before." he then said further.

"And I don't mean my home, specifically. I mean this world. Adaminia."

"Seems so." Ryker told him.

"This is it, Eke." he said.

"...." he was then silent, and sighed.

"We both have women in our lives now, Eke." he told him.

"If that's not a reason to survive this, I don't know what is." he added with a light chuckle.

"......well, you're not wrong." Adym responded.

"There ARE other cruxes out there." he said.

"And that man wants them." he mumbled.

He then sighed and looked at Callie, specifically, the ice blue in her hair.

"And yes, the hair IS a dead giveaway." he confirmed.

"It's just something that happens with cruxes."

"........I didn't." Adym mumbled.

"Mostly because... well... you seemed a bit overwhelmed already." he told her. "At the time, the full story would have compounded upon that." he went on.

"But... the long and short of it is; this world is maintained and balanced by several forces." he explained. "For each of those forces, there is a person that is... well... they serve as an anchor point for that force, and can freely control it." he went on.

"They're called 'cruxes'." he then said further.

"I am the Crux of Nature." he continued.

"And there is someone out there that wishes to have all the power of the cruxes for themselves." he told her.

"...if he succeeds, he will rule over this entire realm."

"....I didn't WANT to leave." Adym responded.

"I... I felt like I HAD to." he said.

"My... abilities aren't... well... normal." he went on.

"And there are those out there who would want that power for themselves." he continued.

"I felt that... staying in my home would put the rest of them in danger." he then explained.

"So... so I left."

Adym managed to return the embrace, and his face turned a little red when she thanked him for worrying about her.

"Ah... yeah." he then said, answering her question.

"It is." he told her.

"Haven't been here in a while." he went on.

"...still as I remembered it, too." he then admitted.

"Guess you can never truly leave your home behind."

"Ah..." Adym was silent for a moment again, before he nodded.

"Y-yes." he then said.

"I mean no! I mean yes! I mean-!" he started to sputtered, before shaking his head vigorously.

He then sighed, and stepped out of the way.

"Please." he said.

"Do come in." he told her.

"My home is your home."
