Zeke was silent for a moment, before waving at Liv. He waved until he got her attention, and when she started to make her way over, he smiled a little.

She's here. he sent to Angela.

Just in time, too. The girl's almost done eating. he sent further.

Oh, and to answer your original question, I just... found her wandering the halls. I asked if she was hungry, she said yes, so I brought her to the cafeteria. he then informed her.

If you want more details, we'll talk in person. he finished.

"......." Zeke was silent as he read what was on the phone screen, before sighing.

She's eating. he sent in response.

And I hope Liv can help. he then sent further.

With that, he pocketed his phone, sighed, and looked at Lunet again.

'You poor child...' was all he could think.

Just as Eke finished about half of the bowl, Ryker starting putting various plates of food on the table.

"All right." he said.

"Dig in." he told Eke.

"Whatcha want to drink, water, milk, juice, chocolate milk, what?" he then asked.

"And remember to take your pills for today, Eke." Aly reminded him,.

"You're welcome." Zeke replied.

He then brought out his phone, and sent a text.

It was a simple text. And it was sent to Angela.

Found her. Cafeteria. was all it read.

He then pocketed his phone once more, and watched her eat. She showed no joy or relief in doing so, which worried him immensely.

Zeke just sighed quietly as he looked at Lunet, and how obedient she was being.

'....this is... concerning.' he thought.

He internalised it, though, and returned with food for her. He brought her a slice of pizza, a Ceasar salad, and a tall glass of chocolate milk. There was also a slice of pumpkin pie for dessert.

"Here you go." he told her.

"All for you." he said with a smile.

"....no, sweetie." Zeke replied.

"If you're hungry, you should eat." he told her. "You deserve to eat if you're hungry." he said further.

"Come on. I'll take you someplace where you can get food." he offered, gently placing a hand on her shoulder. As he did so, Lunet felt a little surge of comfort and warmth from him.

It wasn't enough to get her to not want to go back to her mother. But it DID give her the impression that he just wanted to make sure she was fed. And he wouldn't punish her for being hungry.

"........." Zeke was silent as Lunet gave her answer.

"People are 'supposed to be' wherever they want to be, sweetie." he told her.

"People are allowed to make those decisions on their own." he said further.

"...hey." he then said.

"Are you hungry?" he asked, changing the subject.

"We have a place here where you can get food." he told her.

"...." Zeke was silent for a moment.

"Why?" he asked.

"Why do you want to go back to Mama?" he asked her.

"I... I can help you get back to her, yes." he then said.

"But... why, dear? Why do you want to go back to her?" he asked again.

"Lost?" Zeke asked.

"Well, that's no fun." he said, shaking his head a little.

"Maybe I can help." he offered.

"Where are you trying to get to?" he asked her.

"I know this place pretty well. I think I can get you to wherever you want to go." he laughed, a warm confidence in his tone.

Hal nodded in response.

"I understand." he said before she left.

Once she did, he sighed quietly, and rose to his feet as well.

'I really hope this works out.' he thought. 'I can perform miracles, but... even miracles have their limits.' he thought further, pondering the future for Lunet.

Meanwhile, Zeke had been searching for Lunet, when he suddenly saw a child seemingly following the wall, and her nose, as she searched for something.

He looked around, before doubling back slightly and going in a quick circle, making it so that he would be in her path. He didn't want to approach her, for it might scare her, so he wanted her to essentially come to him.

Or, make it look like she did, anyway.

"It's understandable." Ryker said from the counter, where he was putting everything together.

"Here." he went on, bringing Eke a bowl of various assorted fresh fruit.

"I'm just about done plating stuff up." he told him.

"Snack on those for a bit." he said.

"They're really fresh." Aly told him.

"Fresh, sweet, and juicy."

Hal nodded.

"Clearance granted." he told her.

"Just tell me what day." he said.

"And yes, you have permission to make it a bit 'short notice'." he then added.

"I realise what this is for." he told her further.

"...and I fully, 100% support it."

Hal didn't say anything. Not at first.

However, the next thing Angela heard... was a snap. A snap of his fingers.

"Well." Hal said.

"Now... she will." he told her.

"HOW she does that, however... is up to her."

"....." Hal was silent as she said what she did.

"I see..." he said.

"Yes, that... would make things more personal for you." he reasoned.

"But we need to find her, no matter what." he continued.

"Wherever she is, she must be scared. And we need to show her there's no need to be scared." he went on.

"...but how...?" he then asked quietly.
