Hal looked over towards her, and raised an eyebrow.

"Sure thing, sweetie." he replied.

He then muted the television and looked over towards her.

"Sit down." he told her.

"Ask away." he said.

'...wonder what's up...?' he then thought, concern bubbling up within him.

"I dunno about that." Leo replied.

"It seems like you have passive mana, meaning you can't really actively manifest it." he said.

"But passive mana can be some of the most potent." he went on.

"And seeing as it seems to have shown that it allows you to have a way with technology, it means you could definitely do something with that in your future." he reasoned.

"Just a thought."

Hal and Leo looked at the screen, and they saw that it showed a green checkmark.

"...you can stop now." Leo told her.

When she put it down, he sighed.

"That explains a lot." he commented.

"Was that what I assume it was?" Hal asked.

"It was." Leo confirmed.

"Lunet, you were able to fix your father's computer like you did... because your mana guided you." he informed Lunet.

"Now." Leo replied.

He then flicked his wrist, and a small swirl of sand appeared over his palm, causing a small device to appear there.

He fiddled with it for a moment, before nodding.

"All right." he said.

"Here." he told her, handing it over.

"Just hold it and let it do its thing."

"Well, I'll put a phone-shaped object in your hands, and one of two things will happen." he told her.

"You'll either feel a tingle in your hands, or you won't." he went on.

"There's a screen on it that your father and I will look at, and it'll display something, depending on the reaction." he then explained further.

"You all right with that?" he asked her.

"..." Ryker was silent, before sighing.

"This is all really taking its toll on you, huh?" he asked, wrapping an arm around Eke's shoulders.

"Don't worry." he said.

"We'll find a way." he told him.

"Not sure how. But we'll find a way." he stressed.

"And you know Aly means well. She's just concerned about you." he then added.

Ryker looked over to Eke's offering, and smiled softly, accepting the candy from him.

"....it's been wild, kid." he said.

"Never thought I'd be standing in this situation right now, but I am. Thanks to you." he told him.

"We've been through a lot... but it's not over yet." he went on. "We need to do something about this little situation, and maybe... just MAYBE... fate will allow you to finally have some peace in your life." he continued.

"No matter what happens, meeting you was the best thing to ever happen to me." he went on.

"But I've already said things like that already." he chuckled.

"Doesn't mean I don't mean them, though." he then added.

Aly was silent again as she watched Eke leave.

He was right. She was doing it again.

"...what ARE we supposed to do?" she wondered.

"I know what our goal is... but how do we do it? And do we have enough time?" she asked herself further.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Ryker had cleaned everything up, and standing out in their backyard, looking at the space and nodding to himself.

"Hmmm." Leo mumbled.

"You have an idea, Leonard?" Hal asked.

"I do." Leo replied.

"I have a special little machine that I developed and tested. I think it might shed light on this situation." he went on.

"Would it be all right if I used it, Lunet?" he asked the girl.

"I promise it doesn't hurt."

"Evasiveness doesn't work on me, sweetie." Hal replied. "You know that." he said.

"Wait..." Leo muttered.

"There might be some truth to what she just said with the getting lucky with random clicking and typing." he said.

"So you're saying this is all a serendipitous series of coincidences?" Hal asked.

"No." Leo responded.

"Think back on it, Lunet." he then said to the girl.

"When you were working on the laptop, did it feel like... something within you was guiding you?" he asked. "Like... you just seemed to 'know' where to go and what to do?" he asked further.

"....." Aly was silent for a moment.

"Maybe we should talk to Ryker." she said.

"He seems really capable and strong and knowledgeable." she went on.

"We need to end this as soon as possible." she then reasoned.

"So let's talk to him and form a plan."

"No problems at all." Leo responded. "It's working better than ever." he told her. "Better than this model has any right to." he continued.

"Which is the issue." Hal said.

"There should have been NO way for you to do this." he reasoned.

"You said it yourself, you're blind, and couldn't see anything." he went on.

".....hmmmm." Leo then mumbled, seemingly thinking about something.
