Leo and Hal looked at each other, before looking back at Lunet.

"...your father tells me you seem to have fixed his computer." Leo said.

"That's quite a feat." he commented. "For a number of reasons." he added.

"...care to explain how you did it?" he asked.

"What all DID you do?"

@Miss sandman: Still got the Voltraland and Adventurer? I'll take 'em both!

"Lunet, dear, can you come downstairs with me?" Hal asked.

"Leo and I wish to speak with you." he told her.

"And no, you're not in trouble." he quickly assured her.

"We just want to talk." he stressed.

"Got the time to?"

The men watched her go in silence, before they went back to the computer.

About 30 minutes of examination later, Leo sighed.

"I can't explain it." he said.

"Lunet must have done something to it." he told him.

"How?" Hal asked. "She's blind. And that laptop is NOT blind-friendly." he reasoned.

"There's only one person that can answer that." Leo said.

Hal then sighed, before getting up and making his way to Lunet's room, knocking on the door.

"Some water would be nice." Hal replied.

"Leo?" he then addressed their guest.

"Ah, water too, please." Leo said.

Lunet nodded and left to get the drinks, leaving Leo and Hal alone.

"So what's the tech issue?" Leo asked him.

"....I... it's officially gone weird now." Hal responded after a fashion. He then proceeded to tell Leo what the problems had been, what was happening, and how the computer was behaving now.

"So there you have it. It seemed like the thing was finally busted, but now it's working better than it ever did. Better than when it was NEW." he said further, as Leo sat down and examined the machine.

"...it really is." he commented.

"This is working better than some of the new machines out on the market NOW." he realised.

"......" Aly wasn't sure what to say here, and she felt that... really... nothing should be said at this point. Instead, she sat down in a nearby chair and took in the piece.

She sat quietly, daring not even to make a sound, before Eke seemed to finish the piece.

"...wow..." she said.

"That was... powerful, and emotional." she commented.

"...I hope we can all make it so that you don't need to vent your frustrations like this so often." she then said further.

Leo stepped inside, and waited until the door was closed.

"Oh, you must be Lunet." he said.

"Sorry, Leonard! She doesn't know you yet, I forgot!" Hall called to him.

"Perfectly all right!" Leo called back, before looking at Lunet.

"So, I guess this is our first time meeting." he chuckled.

"Just call me Leo." he told her.

"I... excuse me?" he asked.

"The BIOS? You... navigated the OS?" he asked.

"How?" he asked her.

It made no sense to him. She was blind. And his laptop wasn't designed for one that had no sight. How could she have fixed it and improved it like this?

"Please, help me understand." he then said further.

"How on earth could you have-" he started to ask, before they heard the doorbell.

"That's probably Leonard." he commented.

When Hal returned, he saw the laptop on the coffee table, as well as the note. He made his way over towards them, and checked the note first.

"...'turn me on'?" he read aloud.

"Huh... all right then..." he muttered, sitting down and booting up the laptop. Much to his surprise, it started up a lot quicker than it ever did, and seemed to run perfectly.

"Eh?" he mumbled, as he navigated through the programs and menus.

"What the...?" he asked quietly.

"This thing was on its last legs earlier today... HOW is it running better than it ever has??"

"....." Hal was silent as Lunet said what she did, and then ran off.

"Huh." he muttered.

"Rare to see her this excited about something." he commented to himself.

'Hardly a complaint, mind.' he then added mentally.

With that, he sighed, and got up from where he was. He needed to make a phone call, and he needed to get ahold of Leo. The one person he knew that was an expert on tech.

Hal looked at her and raised an eyebrow.

"....sure." he replied.

"I don't see why not." he said.

"Might be difficult for you to use, though. But hey, as you said, can't kill what's already dead." he went on with a light chuckle.

He then slid the piece of tech over towards her.

"Knock yourself out." he told her.

"Meanwhile, I'M going to try to shop for a new one." he muttered.

Hal looked over towards her, and sighed.

"It's my laptop." he replied.

"I think it's finally had the biscuit." he told her. "Nothing but error messages, and rebooting doesn't help." he went on. "I've even tried several more advanced troubleshooting techniques, but nothing works." he lamented.

"I may need to either call in a friend that's a whiz with tech, or just outright get a new one." he continued.

"It's irritating, to say the least."

Cain froze up when Aedan said what she did.

"H-HEY!" he exclaimed.

"It's not like that!" he insisted.

Azazel just chuckled and shook his head.

"Get used to it. You know your Mom's sense of humour." he said.

Cain just grumbled and growled for a moment, before looking at Hal.

"I'd be happy to help." he told him.

"Ah, excellent." Hal replied. "I'll be paying you more on a more flat rate, and not really by the hour." he told him. "We'll negotiate a salary later." he continued.

"Works for me." Cain responded.

"......" Aly and Ryker were silent for a moment, before Ryker sighed and nodded to her.

Aly then got up and followed to where the piano was, standing at the doorway and watching Eke play. As she watched him, and listened to the music, she sighed quietly.

'...oh, Eke...' she thought.

'You don't deserve this.' she went on, mentally, before she approached the piano and listened to the melody that Eke was producing from it.
