Vincent nodded, and the two of them walked deeper into the cave.

"Rules?" he then asked.

"There are very few." he said.

"Do NOT tell anyone where this place is. Do NOT tell anyone this place exists... except for people that obviously already know. Do NOT take anything from the place." he told her.

"If you want to record any information, do it. But don't be too liberal in doing so." he went on.

"Oh, and don't look up while we're in the cave." he then said.

"The ooze on the ceiling is alive, and will attack when it sees you looking at it." he warned her.

"It's not in the actual records room, but it's all around here."

Ryker just laughed out loud when Eke made his flustered exclamation.

"Hey, I was just asking." he said.

"And not like a woman would want to deal with a demon anyway." he then shrugged with a small sigh, before looking at the food.

"Aaaaand it's done." he commented.

"I made sure to make extra meat for you." he assured Eke with a more sincere smile.

"Oh, and how DID that date go, anyway?" he asked.

Vincent just rolled his eyes.

"Even when I hated him, I still RESPECTED him." he said.

"Regardless." he then muttered, looking at Aedan.

"Come on, we're going someplace... that nobody else really knows about." he told her.

When Aedan stepped closer to him, he put his hand on her shoulder, and they disappeared in a small whirlwind... and when the winds died down, she found herself in a dark, dank cave, with only bioluminescent moss shedding light around them.

"The door is this way." Vincent said.

"And don't ask where we are. You're better off not knowing."

"A lot of people have thought that about me." Vincent replied.

"At any rate... I guess we should go." he mumbled.

"Kiah, feel free to harvest as much fern as you need." he then told Kiah.

"It's growing very well, but it's up to you if you take it all." he continued.

"I'm sure you'll be surprised with how it's thriving."

Vincent's eyes widened for a moment, before he leaned forward a little, lowering his head slightly.

He then started to chuckle... it was low and deep, but it was there. And it was a little unnerving, if Kiah were to be honest. The chuckling then rose in volume, before it turned to low laughter, to which it then transformed into outright full blown loud laughter, as Vincent threw his head back doing so.

He laughed for close to 10 seconds, before looking at Aedan, his expression distressingly serious.

"So. You're Garridan's girl." he commented.

"It's been lifetimes." he said further, speaking in Romanian as well, before clearing his throat.

"By the way, I have a feeling Kiah might not know what we're saying right now." he then added with a smirk.

Ryker accepted the paper, and then returned the hug.

"Yet." he said.

"Hm." he then mumbled, looking at the paper.

"I'll see what I can do." he told him.

"By the way, are you going to bring Aly here at some point?" he asked, shifting the topic.

"Are things getting serious between you two?" he then teased.

"I have general knowledge." Vincent replied.

"Now, two things." he said.

"Kiah, that Blood Fern you asked me to cultivate. It's ready for plucking." he told Kiah.

"And YOU." he then said to Aedan.

"....who are you?" he asked.

"And what files in specific are you looking for?"

Vincent sighed as well.

"Hal Sharp is dating my sister, Hollie Remmington." Vincent told Aedan.

"Let's... let's leave it at that." he said.

"And let's just say that I... I had a very hard lesson taught to me very recently, and I am... doing what I can to try and not be a stupid, stubborn old man." he went on.

"Regardless, is it the both of you that need access?" he then asked.

"Or just you?" he finished, gesturing to Aedan.

"..." Vincent was silent for a moment.

"I see." he said.

"You know, there's not a lot of them left." he told them.

"But... fine." he then said further, sighing and shaking his head.

"Damned Sharp." he muttered. "He KNOWS I can't say no to family." he sighed.

"...clever bastard." he added.

Ryker just gritted his teeth and growled.

But he then nodded and sighed.

"I know." he said.

"To whatever God may or may not exist, I know." he reiterated.

"I've had to be an adult ever since I was a child, I shouldn't be acting like this." he said further.

"So what do we need to do to get this nurse?"

About 4-5 minutes later, Rowena returned with Vincent.

"Yes?" Vincent asked, looking at Kiah and Aedan.

"How can I help you?" he asked further.

"............" Ryker was silent, and just accepted the tea.

"Huh." he said, sniffing it.

"Smells good." he commented quietly.

He then went and boiled some water, making the tea for Eke. He then brought the tea to him, alongside anything he might want to add to it.

"Here." he said.

"Breakfast will be finished in a couple of minutes."

Hal paused for a moment, and his eye twitched a bit.

"A-hem." he cleared his throat.

"I would prefer you not refer to me as such while on the clock." he told her.

"...or at all..." he mumbled under his breath, trying his best to maintain his composure.

"I shall leave you to get things done." he then finished, before turning and leaving.

Sharp shook his head.

"Touch base with me when you learn anything useful." he said.

"Or find out there's nothing useful." he told her.

"I don't want any time to be unnecessarily wasted." he then reasoned.

"These things are a menace, and need to be stopped. NOW."
