"Let's go, then." Sharp said.

The two of them made their way to his office, with Aedan shutting the door behind them. Hal took a seat behind the desk, while Aedan sat in front of it.

"Let's talk." he told her.

"As I said, it seems these things are real, and are murdering people." he said.

"Do you know of ANY such instance of this happening in real life?" he asked her.

Ryker just laughed when Eke said that.

"I've been called a lot worse." he said.

"I just feel good this morning." he told him.

"How about you?" he asked.

"How'd your date go?" he asked further.

"Oh, and thanks for cleaning up around me earlier." he then added sheepishly.

"......such an odd statement." Hal muttered, before returning to Aedan.

He then unlocked her cuffs, and sighed.

"Right." he said.

"Come on." he told her.

"We need to speak privately, and in detail." he went on.

"We can do that in my office." he finished, as he made his way to the door.

"You good to go?" he asked.

Sharp accepted the key, and sighed.

"I understand." he said.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" he asked her.

"In ANY way?" he asked further.

"Just let me know. I will do whatever I can to make sure things are running smoothly for you."

Ryker slipped into the shower and cleaned himself up, before making his way to the kitchen.

He then started to make breakfast, smiling as he did so.

He was doing up pancakes and syrup... with plenty of meat.

Bacon, sausages, the works.

He'd hoped the smell would entice Eke into waking up.

"Listen, is there any way Aedan can get an early release?" Sharp asked.

"I need her help for a case." he told her.

"She has knowledge that I can use, and her unique physiology will prove to be an asset." he continued.

"Can you at least check to see if she CAN be released, provided she takes it easy?" he then asked further.

"I WILL enforce it. And you know I will."

Hal just smirked.

"Well, see, normally my magic can't truly replace medicine. I do have limits." he told her.

"That being said, you are a very unique case, and various medical practices don't apply to you." he continued.

"So, yes, in theory, I COULD just snap my fingers..." he went on, snapping his fingers. "...and you'd be right as rain." he finished, before walking to the door and peering out.

"Hey, Angela." he said, seeing the woman in question.

"Can you come here for a moment?" he asked.

Hal sighed deeply.

"See, that's the thing." he said.

"I have the ultimate last say in everything... under most conditions." he told her.

"Angela has declared that you're under bedrest order for the night." he went on.

"And you KNOW that sort of order is above me, under the circumstances." he continued.

"I'd have to actually ask her to rescind it." he then said further.

".....which I DO intend to do. But short of you making a miraculous recovery suddenly, through some sort of magic, I doubt she'll sign off on that."

"...." Hal was silent, before sighing.

"Damn it." he said.

"It's part of a show." he muttered.

"Well, these... Weeping Angels...? As you call them?" he then said. "Something like that's been happening." he told her.

He then proceeded to tell her what he knew... about the situation, the murder, and what the camera had caught.

"See?" he then said.

"Sounds exactly like them."

"......" Ryker sighed quietly, and smiled.

He then stepped up and gently slipped the shoes off of Eke's feet, before fixing up the blankets a little.

"Sleep well, Eke." he whispered.

He then tiptoed out of the room, and started to gently shut the door behind him, giving one last look at Eke.

Hal just shook his head.

"Actually, I'm looking for information." he told her.

"I remember at one point, I heard you talking about... statues that moved and kill people." he said. "I think you were talking to Azazel at the time." he continued.

"What was that all about?" he asked her.

"As in, what were you referring to, in specific?"

"........" Hal was silent as Angela said that, before sighing.

"Yes, that sounds like Aedan, all right." he agreed.

"Thanks, Angela." he finished, before they parted ways.

He made his way to the area, and sighed once again as he approached the patient in question.

"Why is it so hard to listen to a doctor?" he asked her.

"I swear, you're worse than those hunters Dani has to deal with, AJ and Phyra."

Ryker looked around, and sighed.

"Guess he's not." he said.

He then made his way to Eke's room, opened the door slightly, and peered in.

"........hm." he mumbled, trying not to make a sound.

'Maybe I'll make him some breakfast.' he thought.

'Wait... what's he holding...?' he then wondered, trying to get a better view of it.

"....good points." Hal admitted.

"All right then, thanks." he then said to her.

With that, they parted ways, and he made his way to the medical wing. Once there, he looked around, before locating Angela.

"Hey." he greeted her.

"Is Aedan here?" he asked.

"Peyton said there was a good chance of it."
