Aly blushed considerably when Eke felt the fluff on the end of her tail.

"Eh-heh." she said.

"That... that feels good." she told him.

"Sensitive spot?" Ryker asked.

"Yeah. But in a good way." Aly assured him.

"Regardless, is there anything you need to make this medication, or anything else?" Ryker then asked.

"Well, I could make a list of things I would need for various treatments for Eke." Aly replied.

"Make it out, and I'll get them." Ryker told her.

"......" Aly was silent as she heard Eke's cough, and Ryker was, as well.

"Have fun." Ryker told her.

"Oh, I already know what to do first." she replied.

"You do?" Ryker asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Ease that coughing. And I know just the medication that will do so." she told Ryker.

"It tastes awful, but it should reduce the persistence of the cough by 70%, and the rawness from said cough by over 95%." she went on. "It should allow him to sleep more soundly at night, as well... seeing as I'm sure the coughing has been waking him up." she then added.

Aly blushed a little when Eke kissed her.

"I did." she replied.

"And really? Aw..." she said.

"Why not?" she asked.

"Various reasons." Ryker responded, having stepped into the room.

"Some more alarming than others..." he then mumbled.

"As in raw strength?" Sharp asked.

"Yeah." Sydney responded.

"I have a number of agents that have above average strength, but if YOU'RE calling, then odds are you're calling about someone stronger than YOU." he went on.

"And I can... only think of a handful." he then admitted.

"Why, does this have to do with those statues that have been murdering en masse?" he asked her.

Ryker looked at the door as there was a light knock on it, and he answered it to reveal Aly.

"Hello." she greeted him with a smile.

"I'm Aly." she introduced herself.

"Oh! Please come in." Ryker replied. "I'll wake Eke up." he told her as she stepped in.

"No, no." Aly responded with a light shush and a giggle.

"I will." she told him.

"Well, he's in the livingroom." Ryker told her.

Aly nodded in response, before making her way to said room. She regarded the sleeping Eke with a smile, before going over towards him, sitting down beside him, and leaning gently against him, waiting for him to wake up.

The interview concluded, and when the lady left, Ryker sighed.

"Not bad." he said.

"But I can tell you're uncomfortable with her." he told Eke.

"And that will lead to conflict." he said further.

"She was pretty strict." he then commented, thinking about it.

"Very big on discipline and routine."

"....hm." Ash muttered.

"Damn it." he cursed.

"Is that the only option?" he asked.

"Would the Unit be able to help us?" he asked her further.

"....I mean, I doubt it, but just seeing if we have any other choices." he told her.

"If we don't... then damn, we may have to say 'to hell with the repercussions'." he finished.

".......so there's still -A- crack, even if barely?" Ash asked.

Sydney nodded.

"Well, we can't keep this up, if this is all that this tool's gonna do." Ash then said.

"We need something stronger." he told her.

"Like... maybe something... mage-crafted, or something." he muttered.

"You know what I mean? Just something that's stronger and more durable than a mortal tool or weapon."

Ash looked at the thing up and down, before nodding.

"Right." he said.

"Sure thing." he told her.

He then grabbed the sledgehammer, gripped it tightly with his hands, swung it back like it was a bat... and then paused.

"And there's the pitch..." he mumbled to himself.

"Aaaaaaand..." he finished, trailing off a little, before slamming the head of the sledgehammer into the face of the statue... to which there was a massive 'thud' sound, and the hammer stopped right where the head was.

".....huh?" he muttered.

"........................" Ryker was silent.

"Right." he said.

"Let's remember what he looked like." he told Eke.

"He might need to be... reported... or something..." he went on.

"Or he can suffer!" his other half suddenly chimed in.

"I can make him suffer!"

"............" Ryker was silent as he saw the female, before going to wake Eke up.

After Eke had awoken, they interview was conducted, but sadly, Ryker could already see the writing on the wall.

'...nope.' he thought.

'She's qualified, and a good person, but she is FAR too energetic.' he thought further.

'Noooooot a good fit for Eke.' he realized, before the interview was finished, and she parted ways from them.

"...I'm guessing no." he said to Eke when she was gone.

Ash just sighed as Cass said all she did.

"Right." he said.

"Cass, you go and do what you need to do." he told her.

"Sydney and I will take care of this menace." he said further, cracking his knuckles.

"Allllll righty then." he muttered, stepping closer.

"Sydney, might as well check to see if the sledgehammer will destroy this thing." he told the vampire.

Ash seemed to be speechless for a moment, before sighing.

"Uh... yeah." he replied.

"Yeah, it is." he told her.

"It's killed a number of people already." he said further.

He then looked at the sledgehammer, and realized what was up.

"...well... yeah, the direct approach is always the best, I suppose."

"....then we have problems." Vincent replied.

"Apparently at least one of them killed someone at Casey's recent art gallery showing... and their cameras caught it on tape." he told her.

Ash was silent and just quietly put his phone away.

"But I'll remember that." Vincent then told her.

"Are you all right?" he asked.
