Vincent thought for a moment when Aedan said that.

"Thankfully, I can call upon someone that's a real wiz with tech." he said.

"Leonard Fenretti. He's the one that installed the map system you have here." he told her. "I know his signature mark anywhere." he chuckled.

"But if it IS, indeed, more than a dead battery, we'll call him in." he told her.

"I'm just glad you're okay, Reveka." he then said.

"...well, more or less." he added with a bit of a throat-clearing.

"....right then." Vincent replied, as Sharp took the phone.

"I'll get this to Azazel, and make sure he charges it." he told her, before leaving.

"...demonboi?" Vincent then asked Aedan.

"Do you mean that figuratively, or literally?" he asked her.

"Because I've heard that name before, and while I know that it would normally be farfetched to make the obvious assumption, I also know nothing is impossible in this world." he said.

"It's been proven to me time and time again."

"Eke! I'm back!" Ryker called into the house.

"Ugh." he then muttered, sitting down at the table and putting a paper bag onto it... one that sounded like it had a glass bottle.

He then sighed as he wondered if Eke would react badly to it... even though it wasn't what it seemed.

"...is he even awake?" he wondered, looking around.

"Eh, if he's asleep, I'll let him sleep."

"....that could very well be the turning point for all this." Vincent commented.

"Indeed." Sharp agreed.

"But we need that phone in accessible condition." Vincent then said.

"Simple. We get her boyfriend to grab it and charge it at their place." Sharp responded.

"Boyfriend?" Vincent asked, looking at Aedan.

Vincent crossed his arms over his chest, as Sharp came into the room.

"Aedan, what happened?" he asked.

Aedan gave her explanation, with Vincent adding in to help out.

After they finished, Sharp just sighed heavily.

"Were you at least able to find anything useful?" he asked.

"Or was you having your neck snapped and left alone in a deep cave all in vain?"

"....this is troubling." Vincent said after a pause.

"The fact that it got there at all is troubling, but it somehow knew that someone was there." he continued.

"...how did it even sense you?" he wondered further.

"When did it happen?" he asked.

"Do you have any idea how long you were in there before you were attacked?" he asked further.

"Oh, I'll understand if you don't want to have me do it, seeing as I'm not certified yet." Aly responded.

"But if you want an option that won't be so expensive, let me know. I won't ask to be paid." she went on.

"...it'd be nice for us to spend more time together, even if it's just me helping you with your condition." she then said further.

"I'm not saying I'd be a replacement, I'm just saying I could lighten the financial burden of it all." she finished.

"At any rate, I'll talk to you later, Eke." she then finished.

Vincent froze when she said that.

"Excuse me?" he asked.

"That's... that's impossible." he said.

"Nobody should have been able to get in there." he went on.

"...this makes no sense..." he mumbled further.

"And who would have known you were even DOWN there...?" he wondered aloud.

"Oh, Eke, thank goodness." Aly replied.

"I was worried when you stopped answering my texts." she said.

"....perhaps I was panicking a little, though. But I couldn't help but wonder about you."' she went on.

"Are you all right?" she asked.

"...oh! Did I wake you up!?" she then asked guiltily.

Well, hopefully you'll have time to interview ME as well. ;) Aly sent back to him.

However, after a few hours of silence, she sent another text.

Eke? Everything all right? she asked.

If you don't respond in the next 10 minutes, I'm going to call you. she then sent further.

And, sure enough, after 10 minutes had passed, his phone rang.

"Ah, you can speak again." Vincent said.

"Good." he commented.

"At any rate, let's get down to the main concern here." he then said further.

"What the hell happened to you down there?" he asked.

"I'd ask what sort of accident you got yourself into, but given the state and size of the room, an accident that would cause you to break your neck seems highly unlikely." he then reasoned.

"So what DID happen down there?"

I have. Aly responded.

Or, rather, I've dealt with things very similar to it. she then sent.

Truth be told, I've started reading up on, and studying Ingeir's since you mentioned it. she told him.

I feel reasonably confident in dealing with whatever it throws.

There was silence on the other side for a moment, before Aly responded.

A day nurse? she sent.

I know I said I want to sing for a living, but I'm actually studying to be a nurse for a more stable form of income in my future. she then sent to him.

It's how I knew the tea might help. the texts continued.

I can help with nursing duties if you like. she offered.

Or I can more properly when I actually get certified. For now, I would be unofficial, I suppose.

I miss you, too. Aly responded a few seconds later.

How have things been? she then sent.

Is the tea working? she asked further.

There was then a break in the texts, obviously her pausing to let Eke answer.
