"........huh." Lindsay muttered.

"Well, that was.... blunt and candid." he commented.

"And it told me all I needed to know." he said further with a small shrug.

"In that case, it might be best for me to leave and let you two do what you need to do." he then the two girls.

"...unless you need me for anything." he added.

"I cannot think of any way I can be useful here, but if either of YOU can, I'll do what I can to help."

Lindsay, again, looked confused.

"A good option for what?" he asked.

"I am quite confused." he said.

"Casey, I know you've been working on something for the Unit, but you haven't told me what." he said to Casey.

"....." he was then silent, many things running through his mind.

"And... your father? Living can't go?" he went on, mulling things over.

"Can I possibly get an explanation for any of this?" he asked.

Aly was definitely surprised when Eke deeply kissed her, as she let out a muffled exclamation.

She seemed to be frozen in place for a moment, but quickly fell into him, returning the kiss.

She wrapped her arms around him, and allowed their lips to caress each other, as Ryker peered into the room from the doorway.

'Oh my...' he thought.

'THAT escalated quickly.'

"................" Lindsay was silent as he saw this.

"A... literal bona fide zombie." he commented.

"I... wait." he then said, thinking about it.

"I know that it's possible to create them, but the act of doing so is considered one the gravest sins one can commit against nature, and therefore carries the strictest punishments." he commented, before pausing.

"No... pun intended." he quickly said to her.

"It's been like that for a very long time." he commented.

"To see one before me is... a rarity, to put it one way." he then said further.

Lindsay raised an eyebrow.

"Eh?" he muttered.

"Firstly, nice to meet you, Aedan. I'm Lindsay. Lindsay Fyrane." he introduced himself.

"And... what about her family?" he then asked Casey.

"I know that name is vaguely familiar to me, but I can't remember why..." he said. "I feel like I've read it in a book sometime before, but the specifics are lost on me currently."

"....ngh." Lindsay person grunted, as he accepted Casey's hand.

"I was looking for you." he told her.

"You disappeared again, and I wondered to where." he said as she helped him to his feet.

"Anyway, at least you're back." he continued.

"Also, who's this?" he asked, looking at Aedan.

"...and why do they have a heat signature of zero?"

Sharp raised an eyebrow.

"It's news to me that you've been to purgatory before." he told Aedan.

"But I suppose now isn't the time to discuss it." he reasoned.

"Agent Callimachi, help Miss Kiczys in finding your father." he said to her. "We need his knowledge to help combat these things." he went on.

"Dismissed." he then finished.

".....and, good luck." he finished, sincerity in his voice.

"Yes, Aedan, come in." Sharp said.

When she did, and closed the door, he sighed.

"Miss Kiczys, this is Agent Callimachi." he said to Casey.

"Agent Callimachi, Miss Kiczys." he told Aedan.

"I've called you here because I believe you are the ONE person that can help Miss Kiczys with what I have asked her to do for us." he continued.

"I'll let her give a better explanation." he finished, gesturing to Casey.

"One of my agents, Agent King, always regenerates back from whatever injuries he has sustained." Hal responded.

"So he's been an asset to keep an eye on the statues." he told her.

"And trust me, I understand the laughter." he chuckled. "It's so rare that people can understand each other over a concept that is... well... ludicrous, to be honest." he said further.

"So don't worry about laughing." he went on.

"If anything, it's important to be able to keep one's spirits uplifted during trying times such as these."

Aly snapped out of the dream world she had been in, and her face turned a matching shade of red when he kissed her hand.

"Oh, you are such a charmer." she said.

"And you're so darn handsome as well." she went on, using that descriptor for the first time.

"Hearing you play... it makes me realize that you ARE handsome. Adorable, and handsome at the same time." she explained.

"And you really know how to make a girl feel good." she then added with a small giggle.

"Surprisingly few." Hal responded.

"I'm not sure what's going on, but the agents I've lost, have all been lost when they were out on the field, or in their own homes." he told her.

"I'd say I've lost... 10? 15 people?" he continued.

"Which... don't get me wrong, I'm not saying their deaths are trivial, but considering the number of people I have in my employ, that number is low." he explained.

"And I've had a couple agents already die and not stay dead, one of them many times." he then mumbled.

Hal just smiled when Casey responded.

"You're very welcome." he told her.

"After this is over, I would like to discuss something of an arrangement with you." he then said.

"See, I've been meaning to replace the art and such that I have around the building." he went on.

"And your art, I believe, would give life to this place." he continued.

"So I would love to commission you for various pieces."

Sharp then sighed, as he nodded slowly.

"While we wait for them, would you care for a drink?" he asked.

"I'm not sure how long it'll take them to get here, but we don't have to just sit here while we wait." he reasoned.

"Oh, and by the way, on a personal note, your artwork is masterful." he complimented her.

"Seriously, it is something that people can feel the passion you put into it."

Aly was entranced and enthralled by the performance.

She couldn't help but be swept away in the music, and she almost felt like she was being teleported to another dimension.

A heavenly one.

She even made her way over to the piano and leaned against it, her expression dreamy.

It was as though she had left her consciousness and was in a state of euphoric dreams.
