"......." Ash was silent for a moment, before sighing.

"Right." he said.

"I'll call you Aedan, if you call me Ash." he told her.

"And yeah, we do." he said to Casey.

"We met a loooooong time ago." he told her, before thinking a little.

"Something between my escape from the lab, and meeting up with Cass."

"Uh?" Ash muttered when he saw Aedan suddenly appear.

"Wait..." he said.

"Hold on, it's you!" he then exclaimed.

"Holy crap, I haven't seen you in a long time!" he went on.

"How've you been, Reventika?" he asked her.

Aly was silent, before getting closer towards him... and hugging him.

She held him close, and almost buried her face in him.

"...Eke..." she said.

"Eke, I..." she stammered, before just shaking his head.

"....." she was then silent once more, and just continued to hold him.

Her father watched her go, and sighed when she disappeared from his sight.

"....goodbye, Reveka." he said.

"You just made this place a little better for a time." he told her before looking back into his house... watching as it started to fade a little...slightly... and smiled.

As Casey was sketching the thumbnails, she heard a knock on the door, and saw Ash poke his head in.

"Hey." he greeted her.

"Lindsay told me we had company." he said.

"Do I need to make up some extra for lunch?" he asked.

The man nodded in response.

"I understand." he replied.

"You have your obligations and responsibilities." he told her.

"Be good, dear." he then went on, as they walked to the door.

"Remember that I love you."

"Oh. I see." her father replied.

"Well... whatever works, I guess." he then said.

"......" he was then silent, before looking at her.

"Reveka..." he said.

"It seems you're doing well. And I'm happy for you." he told her.

"I can't tell what is happening in your life overall, but... I miss you."

Aly continued to think for a moment, and then nodded.

"I... remember he... visited the village once." she said.

"I... also remember that... those that were hungry... he fed." she told Eke.

"Those that were cold... he clothed." she went on.

"Those that fought... he calmed." she continued.

"I think... he was close to a savior for a lot of people here."

Ryker heard the outburst, and pulled a guilty face.

'Aaaaand the regret.' the demon inside him said.

"Shut. Up." Ryker growled under his breath.

"Oh, Eke..." Aly said quietly, before thinking.

'Wait..." she said.

"I... I think I remember something. Something that happened when I was barely 5 years old." she said further, seemingly racking her brain hard to find the memory that was poking at her.

".....oh?" her father asked.

"But... that's your name." he said.

"What else would they call you?" he asked her.

This was proof enough that those that were in the realm of purgatory, unlike those in heaven and hell, had no way to see what was going on in the mortal realm.

Aly was quiet, before reaching over and giving him a hug.

"That's so sad." she said.

"But I've heard your father was a great man." she told him.

"He'd be so proud of you." she went on.

"You're a wonderful person."

When her father saw this, he sighed to himself.

"....right." he mumbled.

He then shook his head, concentrated on what he knew, and stepped forward, his hand outstretched towards her. He then placed his hand on her forehead, and it began.

Aedan saw... everything. Formulae, numbers, letters... she saw all that she needed to know, and more. It was almost overwhelming, to the point where it threatened to consume her...

...until she heard her father's voice.

"....CK!... COME BACK, REVEKA!"

"....things are different here." her father replied.

"I need you to close your eyes... and concentrate." he told her.

"Concentrate on... well... the feeling of this realm." he said.

"You need to be taken out of the present, so that your mind is more receptive to receive this information." he explained.

"Because this will literally be implanting the knowledge into your brain."

"......" the man was silent, and then sighed.

"I can impart all my knowledge of them to you." he said.

"However, it will be quite the rush of knowledge." he warned her.

"You have to be prepared to receive it, and deal with it." he continued.

"....are you?" he then asked.

"I'm willing to bet you are, given that you've come here, but I must ask anyway."

"......oh no..." the man said quietly.

"I thought I'd buried that cursed knowledge." he said further.

"...right." he then said, shaking his head.

"I'll... we'll discuss that statement about my being in texts in a moment." he continued.

"Do you want to know anything in specific about the statues?" he asked her.
