"........" Zeke was silent as Angela said what she did.

"I got it." he replied.

"I'll expand the security system." he told her.

"What areas do you want me to monitor? Or... well... all right, are there any areas you feel are safe from being monitored?" he then asked.

"Just so I know how much to get and where to install it." he reasoned.

"I can have it done... heck, probably before the dryads come to dinner." he chuckled.

Zeke thought for a moment, and then nodded.

"Yeah." he said.

"Yeah, sure." he told her.

"It's... well, it's not basic, but it's nothing overly complicated. Just with some mana boosting." he explained.

"So... yeah. Yeah, it can be expanded upon." he concluded.

"You want to get cctv here, huh?" he then asked.

"Any particular reason why?"

"....a job?" Ryker asked.

"Well... I mean... if you want to, sure." he said.

"You're your own person. You can do whatever you want. You're old enough to get a job if you'd like." he reasoned, seemingly continuing to think about it.

"What would you do?" he asked.

"What sort of job would you seek?"

Ryker couldn't help but chuckle when Eke moaned in pleasure.

"Heh, cool." he said.

"Glad you like it." he told him.

"I'll keep the food coming. Or try to, anyway." he then said.

"We have plenty right now."

"All right then." Ryker replied.

"Then work on that fish right now." he told him.

"I'll start making up more food for you." he went on.

"..........I'm glad you're eating again." he then said further, as he grabbed a slab of beef.

"You just... refused to eat for a while, and it worried me."

"....hm. All right then." Zeke responded.

"...ah, youthful energy and exuberance." he then said with a small sigh, before pausing.

"Though I maaaaay be a tad too young to be saying something like THAT." he chuckled.

"Anyway, it seems like this has all been settled." he told her. "You should be able to regularly use your front door from now on." he said further.

"Do you still want that security system, though?" he asked.

"I haven't taken it down yet, and its sole purpose was to monitor the door and check to see who was messing with it. And that's been settled now." he reasoned with a small shrug.

"Want me to take it down now?"

Zeke thought again, and nodded.

"I'll ask Tobias when I see him next." Zeke said.

"...Tobias... being the father, obviously." he quickly clarified.

"But I'm due at the Triad in a couple of days for an appointment, and he's always there. Every day." he told her.

"So I'll ask for some clarification or restrictions." he said.

"That all right?" he asked Angela.

Zeke looked at Angela for a moment, and thought about it.

"Hmmm." he mumbled.

"Well.... hm." he mumbled further.

"When a dryad lives out in the wild... they tend to live off of the blessings of nature. Berries, herbs, vegetables, that sort of thing." he told her.

"But this family is urbanized, so to speak... but from what I recall of what little I know... they're not vegan or vegetarian..." he went on, trailing off a bit, and shrugging.

"Really, it doesn't matter TOO much." he told her.

"Something as simple as a steak dinner with steamed vegetables and baked potatoes would probably be received quite well." he concluded.

"Oh, and just ice water or some nice fruity wine to drink with it as well." he then added.

"So basically, think of your standard nice family dinner, I guess."

".........." Ryker was silent for a moment, before clearing his throat.

"Ah. Yes." he said.

He then promptly went back to the slab of fish, finishing off the cooking.

"It's... a bit scorched on one side. Sorry." he apologized.

"But this should at least take the edge off your hunger." he told him.

"Do you want any other sort of meat?" he asked.

Ryker bit his lip when Eke said all he did.

"I..." he stammered.

"It's... no, it's... it's not that." he said.

"It's not that you... I mean, I'm glad that... you're happier now." he told him.

"But... but the fact that you had to go to... HIM... that you had to get HIS help..." he went on, looking away.

"You had to make a deal with a demon to do it." he said quietly.

"I'm not mad. I'm not disappointed. I just... I hate that it had to come to that." he clarified, his tone showing he was ready to cry as well.

"....I'm sorry." he whispered, before suddenly hugging Eke.

"I really AM happy that you're happier now." he assured him.

"Your mother was considering ordering in some Mediterranean food." Zeke responded.

"Come and check the menus." he told her.

"See if you can find something you'd like." he said.

He then sighed quietly, and thought about what had just been said.

'Dinner with Angela and Olivia, as well as their neighbours...' he thought.

'....heh, like a couple.' he thought further, before his eyes widened slightly, and he shook his head a bit to clear his mind.

Zeke nodded as well.

"Indeed." he said.

"So." he then said further.

"What was his reaction like?" he asked Olivia.

"We all know Jesse had a reaction about the dinner date." he commented.

"I'm guessing he was flustered and unintelligible?"

Zeke was quiet for a moment, before shrugging.

"If I'm welcome." he said.

"It'd be nice to have dinner with him. See him outside of work." he reasoned.

"Hm?" Angela asked.

"Oh, the boy's father and I know each other." he told her.

"Done Triad-related work with him."

The boy watched her go, and then looked back at his parents.

"....uh-oh..." he muttered.

"Yep." his father replied.

"That's pretty much it." he told him, his tone unimpressed.

Meanwhile, when Olivia got back, she saw Zeke and Angela on the couch, looking through some menus.

"Ah, welcome back." Zeke greeted her when he saw her.
