As soon as Eke passed out, the demon disappeared back into Ryker.

"...Eke!" Ryker exclaimed, rushing towards the fallen dragon.

'Take him to bed and lay him down.' was all he heard in his mind.

"....." Ryker was silent, before lifting Eke up and carrying him to his bed, laying him down on it.

"....Eke..." he said quietly, tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

"Ah... ah... I..." the boy stammered.

"Well... I... I was... I was..." he stammered further, as Zeke sighed.

"Oy." he mumbled.

"I mean... I just wanted... for... um..." the boy continued to stutter.

"I wanted attention." he finally said.

"Well... that's not technically a lie..." Zeke muttered.

"......." the kid was silent when she asked what she did.

"Go on." Zeke said.

"....I'm sorry I kept messing with your door." the kid mumbled very quietly.

"....what was that?" Zeke asked him, urging him to be louder.

"....I'm sorry I kept messing with your door." the kid repeated, slightly louder than before... but still fairly quiet and under his breath.

"Louder." Zeke ordered.

"I'm sorry I kept messing with your door please forgive me here take this it should help with recovering from being sick it's from my parents!" the boy blurted out all at once, shakily handing her the tea.

Zeke immediately grabbed the boy that was hiding behind him by his collar, and lifted him up easily.

"Ah!" the boy exclaimed, before seeing Olivia and blushing.

"Let's go." Zeke said as they stepped inside, and made their way to where Angela was.

"Angela." he said, dropping the boy down on his feet.

"THIS one has something to say to you."

"HAH!" the voice yelled.

"SO BE IT!" it said.

"I WILL RIP YOUR PAST RIGHT FROM YOU!" it declared.

With that, Eke felt his memories of his mother 'grabbed'... and the demon the yanked the presence out... alongside those memories.

"Ah-hahahahahahaha!" he laughed out loud.

"Yeeeeeesssssss....." he hissed happily, as he seemed to consume and smother the entity.

There seemed to be a pause for a moment.

".....interesting." the voice said.

"Mother." it said further.

"Do you want to forget mother?" it asked him.

"Do you want me to take those memories for my toll?" it asked further.

"Bitter and horrid memories are just as tasty as sweet ones."

The demon just continued to laugh darkly, and almost maniacally, when Eke heard a voice.

"....pay me my toll..." a primal voice told him.

"Give me your sweet memories." it said.

"Forget about the demon-host... he's caused you this pain..." it went on.

"I wouldn't exist without HIM..."

The demon just laughed again, before Ryker's body seemed to collapse forward. When it did, a shadow seemed to rise up from the body, revealing a dark demonic form with glowing red eyes.

"VERY WELL." he said, his voice now booming, and it seemed to be coming from all around.

"IT SHALL BE DONE." he told Eke.

With that, a clawed shadow hand shot forward, and it seemed to go right into Eke's chest. Eke then felt like his heart was being grabbed... before the hand started to withdraw, taking... something... with it.

However, Eke could also feel his memories of Ryker starting to get a trad bit fuzzy... his other side was trying to take its toll with it.

The boy froze when he heard that.

"Ah... ah... ah..." he stammered, before Zeke finished his tea and stood up.

"Thank you for the tea. Both for myself, and for Miss Hayes." he told them.

"I will see to it that it gets delivered to her." he said further.

With that, they parted ways, and Zeke practically had to drag the kid to the front door.

He then paused when they got there, and knocked on it.

The demon just laughed out loud at what Eke had said and done.

"Ahhh, you're a brash one." he said, following.

"I LIKE that." he told Eke.

"Someone like YOU would make a valuable asset for me." he continued, before pausing.

"But my host's mental stability is somewhat crucial for me, so it's worth more to acquiesce to your wish." he then assured Eke.

"Just be warned... it's gonna be painful."

The son reluctantly accepted the tea, and nodded.

"....K." he muttered.

"All right, go with Mister LeBlanc." the man then told him.

"You are going to apologize as well, and you WILL cut it out. Do you understand?" he asked.

"...yes..." the boy said quietly.

"And then afterwords, we'll have a serious talk about your behaviour. Again." the man continued, before looking to his wife.

"Anything to add before he faces the music?" he asked her.

The father responded by promptly slapping his son upside the head.

"Ow! Hey!" the boy exclaimed.

"If you want to garner someone's affections... harassing them and their mother is NOT the route to take." the father said.

"Is there any way we can resolve this situation?" he then asked Zeke.

"Well, a full apology to Miss Hayes, and the promise to never do it again would be a fine start." Zeke responded.

The boy looked immensely scared at that point.

"Wh-wh-what...?" he squeaked.

"Yes, this is the archangel fellow I work with from time to time." his father said as he appeared once more.

"It would seem you are, indeed, in deep." he commented.

"I... I... I... I..." the boy stammered.

"Now, what's all this about?" the father then inquired.

Zeke nodded.

"Indeed I am." he responded.

"And while I don't specifically work FOR the Triad, I have had many dealings with them." he continued.

"But, for the record, I'm technically a nephilim." he then said.

"...even though calling me an archangel IS correct." he chuckled, as they heard voices upstairs, and then there were quick footsteps, which led to an excited boy rushing into the room...

...only to promptly freeze when he saw who was there.
