Rene looked over towards Kaia, and waved.

"Yo." he replied.

"And yeah, no problem." he said.

"By the way, what the HELL happened?" he then asked, gesturing over towards the one he had worked on.

"Seriously, the fact I had to work on her, coupled with what some scans showed was... scary." he said further.

"So can you fill me in on any details about her arrival?"

"Eh, didn't bother me too much." Rene told her.

"Maybe I'll feel it later or something? I don't know." he told her.

"But just let me ride this out for now. Hopefully this is temporary." he continued.

"And if anyone else heard that yell of mine, do let them know I should be fine. Or I probably will be. Or whatever." he then said further.

"Oh, and get Kaia here." he finished.

"...I will be once I regain control of my motor functions." Rene responded in an almost unnervingly calm tone.

"As for what happened, I finished mending and cleaning up the patient, then I noticed she had a weird halo on her head that... well, really shouldn't have been there." he continued.

"So... I tried to remove it." he went on.

"Big mistake. It sent a jolt through my body and sent me flying back." he then informed her.

"So I'm waiting for my nerves and muscles to get on the same page once more."

"Thank you." Rene replied, before closing the door.

Over the next 50 minutes, she heard periodic shuffling and minor grunts of annoyance, but overall, things seemed fine. It seemed like Rene was working on it, and then it sounded like he was finished.

But then she heard him scream out in pain, before she heard a dull thud.

Throwing caution to the wind, she quickly opened the door, and saw the one that had arrived prior, looking better than before... and Rene on the floor, on his back, twitching slightly, but seemingly still alive, conscious, and lucid.

"Thank you." Rene responded, before opening the door, and closing it as he stepped inside.

Seconds later, he promptly opened the door and addressed Kaori.

"You. Kaori, was it?" he said.

"Yes?" she replied.

"I am NOT to be disturbed unless I say I need something, got it?" he asked her. "If you hear nothing from me, do NOT let ANYONE come in here, or knock on this door." he practically commanded, but she could tell it was because he'd gone into serious 'doctor mode', if she were to guess.

"Capisce?" he finished.

"Mana barriers?" Rene asked. "I didn't even notice." he said. "Admittedly, I aimed for this general area, and ended up behind it. In retrospect, I should have aimed for a specific place, but I was very hurried." he then admitted quietly.

"Regardless!" he quickly continued.

"And a small individual, weak to the point of collapsing, and Kaia seemed VERY worried about her?" he then inquired.

"Hmmmmm..." he mumbled.

'Wonder who...?' he thought.

"Well, I'll do whatever I can for them. Just take me to her, which... well, that's what you're doing." he finished with a small chuckle.

@iris: What sort of game would Pandora Code be? As in, setting and such.

Rene accepted the headband and looked it over, admiring the craftsmanship of it.

"Oh, wow." he said.

"These are of amazing quality." he commented, nodding slightly.

"Very nice, indeed." he said further, handing them back.

"Anyway, to business." he then went on, his tone changing to be more serious. "What's the situation, that you're aware of?" he asked her.

Rene blinked a couple of times.

"...oh!" he said.

"Oh, that explains everything." he said further with a light chuckle... before stopping suddenly.

"Wait." he muttered. "Wait, no it doesn't." he stated.

"What... what about THOSE?" he asked, gesturing to the mouse ears.

"I might not be super up-to-date on my Eastern spirits, but... Yuki-Onna don't have... mouse ears..."

"...right, that's fair enough." Rene replied.

"Ah... quick question." he then said.

"Is it just me, or is it cold in here?" he asked.

"Ever since I walked inside, I've felt this... chill." he told her. "But it's almost like it's a chill that... feels like it's making its way into my soul...? If that makes sense." he said further.

"Maybe it's just me..."

He paused for a moment, for a couple of reasons. The first was the mouse ears that sat stop the young woman's head. The second was that he was suddenly feeling very... VERY... chilly.

"Uh..." he stammered, shaking his head.

"Right, yes, I was called here." he told her.

"The name is Rene. Dr. Rene Calder." he introduced himself.

"I was not given ANY details, just told to be here ASAP."

He nodded in response.

"Yeah, I'm as much in the dark as you." he confirmed.

"But I'm getting my emergency 'prepared for anything' medkit, and headed out there." he told her.

With that, they said their goodbyes, and he grabbed his kit, disappearing with it, and appearing behind the theatre. He quickly rounded his way to the front, stepping through the entrance.

"Hello?" he called out when he was inside.

Michael continued to ponder this, before calling over some Fallen to discuss something, with one of them keeping an eye on Casey. At the very least, she could see that she wouldn't have any privacy, and that their eyes would always be on her.

"....uh?" the one on the other end muttered.

"Am I to assume this is an emergency?" he asked.

"A dire one. So be here soon, preferably NOW, please and thanks!" the caller stated, before ending the call.

The man then sighed, and shook his head, before looking to the woman that was sitting beside him.

"Seems I am making an emergency call to Kaia's theatre troupe."

Michael just laughed out loud.

"I know why you say that." he said.

"But I do believe I have a plan on dealing with my brother." he told her.

"Still, thank you for bringing this to my attention." he continued.

"I hadn't considered that my dear sister-in-law would be needed." he said further, before pausing and thinking again.

"Though would you need HER... or just her MANA..." he then pondered, leading Casey to assume he was thinking if he could just extract Aimee's mana, possibly killing her, and bringing it back.
