Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Michael paused for a moment, thinking about what she said.

"...you're right." he said.

"You're absolutely right." he told her.

"Your power, your raw necromantic strength will be needed, but you'll need an assistant." he realised.

"And I know JUST who that will be." he declared.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"How cute. You think you deserve a full explanation." Michael responded.

"But fine." he then said.

"I need to create a bridge to the inner sanctum of Heaven." he told her.

"The Fallen have been wrongfully thrust out of Heaven. Exiled." he said further. "And I intend to have them reinstated where they rightfully belong." he continued, as she heard some light cheering in another room.

It seemed like there were other Fallen here, and that they had overheard them talking.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Michael just shrugged.

"As I said, your power." he told her.

He then closed the distance between them... alarmingly quickly... and grabbed her by the collar.

"Now. Are you going to listen to me and do as I say?" he asked.

"Or am I going to make things miserable for your family and loved ones?" he asked her further.

"The easy way. Or the hard way. Your choice, necromancer."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

my little jokes on thee...

He shrugged in response.

"It's up to you if you want the chance to lower the odds." he told her.

"Tell me... as an aunt, wouldn't it be your familial duty to do whatever it takes for her?" he asked with a sly grin.

"If you WANT it to be a sure thing, be my guest." he continued.

"But I do NOT have her already. She would be here if I had. Can you sense her here?"

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

my little jokes on thee...

Michael just grinned.

"Your power." he said.

"You will help me reach the pinnacle of my goals." he told her.

"And if I refuse?" Casey asked stubbornly.

"I have some of my followers moving in on the little dragon-spawn that's currently recuperating in the hospital." Michael responded. "If you cooperate, I might not have them abduct her."

great big one on me.

She did succeed in pushing him away, but it also seemed like he actually stepped away himself, as well.

"I see no reason to not give you some space now." he told her.

"But you cannot escape." he said.

"We have you. And we'll always know where you are." he warned.

"O queen of necromancy." he then said facetiously.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Uriel nodded in response, and smiled.

"Of course." he responded.

Less than 24 hours later, as Casey was still knocked out in the hospital bed, a beam of oddly-coloured light entered the room, and revealed Michael standing there when it faded away.

He looked at the woman in the bed, gently reaching over and brushing her bangs out of her face.

"...I am sorry." he said quietly, before he unplugged the machines that were monitoring her, picked her up in his arms, and the two of them disappeared from where they were, appearing in... a house of some sort, in a den of some sort. He then laid her down on the nearby couch, and cupped his hand onto her cheek.

With that, he sent a pulse of mana into her brain, that would forcibly wake her up.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Uriel shook his head.

"No need to apologise." he told her.

"A victim of a Fallen attack is ALWAYS something that needs tending to." he said further.

"After all, it's one of the things a Guardian Angel helps protect again." he smirked with a wink.

"Take care of yourself, hey?" he then told her.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

"2 days at most." Uriel responded.

"And when she awakes, she'll be... well... edgy." he then said.

"Not in the sense she'll attack anyone, but she'll be very... nervous." he continued.

"Fallen have a very unnerving effect on their victims, regardless of what they do." he went on. "Oftentimes, when a person starts to suffer from severe paranoia, it's because they've had an encounter with a Fallen." he told her.

"...whether they're aware of it or not."

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Indeed it does." Uriel agreed.

"And it DID work for a while, which is good." he went on.

"It's just a shame that it had to end the way it did." he then sighed, shaking his head.

"But she'll be all right. I promise."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Uriel shook his head.

"Fallen generally don't talk with others about things." he muttered.

"We wouldn't get any answers out of them. Especially if they're working together under someone." he told her.

"However, I WILL agree that her necromantic prowess was most likely the reason she was attacked." he then said.

"I'd say it's a certainty it was."

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Uriel shook his head.

"The Fallen attacked her, but it's hard to say why." he said.

"I refuse to believe that they thought she was just a random person. Her disguise was good, but it would only allow her to evade them for so long, as was demonstrated." he continued.

"...makes me wonder if they're scared of her." he said further.

"Or if it was something else..."

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Uriel rolled his eyes again.

"Fair." he said.

"But yeah, she took a pretty severe attack." he told Angela.

"We got there just in time, and what you did made it we even got there in time." he said further.

"So you saved her life." he told her.

"But she WILL be out for a day or two." he restated.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

my little jokes on thee...

Nate met Roxie's gaze, and Uriel and Angela could see that he was already entranced by her.

Again. He wasn't unfaithful or the kind to be, just... easily influenced.

"Sure..." he said dreamily.

Uriel just rolled his eyes as this transpired.

"Oi." he muttered.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.
