"Yeah..." Zeke mumbled.

It was clear he was scared. And vulnerable. He was normally a strong and stoic man, but in the face of something THAT much bigger than himself, Sariel could see that he was scared.

"Anyway." he then said.

"Thanks for the reminder on Rylie." he told her.

"I'll try and contact you if I find anything."

Zeke looked over towards Sariel, and sighed.

"I am NOT a-" he started to argue, but then stopped.

"No time for that." he muttered.

"Actually, I'll go to the Unit first, tell Rylie and Angela, THEN quickly get to Kelly." he said.

"..." he was then silent, before looking his 'aunt' in her eyes.

"I'm... worried about this..." he admitted quietly.

Zeke paused for a moment, before snapping his fingers.

"Oh! Rylie!" he said.

"Sure, I'll tell her when I go to tell Angela." he told her, before pausing.

"Also... scrambling...? What scrambling?" he asked... just before a tiny figure flew right up to his ear and shouted into it, causing him to wince with surprise and a little pain.

"I am NOT panicking!" he insisted to the fae that seemed to be scolding him.

She had heard some scrambling inside when she knocked, before it stopped abruptly. Then there was silence for a moment, before footsteps were heard coming to the door, and it was answered.

Revealing a VERY confused-looking Zeke.

"...aunt... Sari...?" he asked.

"I... well, all right, I was literally getting ready to head out to talk to Kelly and warn her. I planned to do her first, then Angela, but I figured I should stop by here and warn the fae." he reasoned.

"What brings you HERE?" he then inquired.

Uriel raised an eyebrow.

"A coworker?" he asked.

"Anyway, no, he's not here." he told her. "He left seconds after YOU did." he said further.

"Aimee can call him and relay the info." he continued.

"So who is it?" he asked.

"Who are we telling Zeke to talk to?"

She wasn't waiting long at all, before Uriel answered.

"...hello again." he greeted her.

"I admit, I didn't expect to see you here again so soon." he said further.

"Is something up?" he asked.

"Something major go down?"

"Ah, even better." Gregory said.

"HE can talk to her, while I look for info." he said further.

"Also, yes, this IS a headache." he agreed.

"Let's hope it stays as nothing MORE than a headache." he muttered.

"Because if this goes beyond a certain point, then we're all fucked, no matter WHAT we do." he stated bluntly.

Gregory looked at her, meeting her gaze.

"Thanks." he said.

"Same goes for you." he told her.

"We need to pull together for this, and we need to do it in a BIG way." he went on.

"For now, I'll spread the information to all the other reapers." he told her further.

"...and that Rylie girl." he added. "She might be able to help as well."

"Yeah. I know." Gregory replied.

"I'd been hoping this was just a case of her leaving because she got stressed or overwhelmed or something, and came back just as things were starting to begin to show signs of potentially turning to chaos." he admitted.

"Can't keep hoping NOW." he muttered.

"I'll spread the word to all the reapers." he told her.

"We need all the support we can manage."

Gregory then sighed. It was quiet, but heavy.

"...sure." he said.

"I can try." he told her.

"But if Michael's really doing this, it won't be long before he comes after me." he went on. "It's no secret about mine and Emelie's past. He'll know that I know something is very wrong." he reasoned.

"So if I disappear suddenly, you'll know why."

"...." Gregory was silent for a moment.

He then smirked, and started to chuckle. Which then turned into laughing... which became even louder, as he threw his head back, almost seeming like a maniac now.

However, it died down as quickly as it came, and he looked at her.

"Meaning the End of Days is coming, quite possibly." he said.

"The bastard finally fell, did he?" he asked.

"So we need to stop this before he destroys everything."

The two made their way to the room in question, with Gregory shutting the door behind them. They then sat across from each other on the circular velvety purple couch, and he looked right at her.

"So talk." he said.

"And spare me any 'do you feel it' questions, of COURSE I feel it." he told her.

"I haven't been able to get into contact with her for TOO long." he stated.

"And the fact that you sought me out either means you must know something about this, or think I do." he continued.

"Let me answer if it's the latter. I don't." he finished bluntly.

Gregory just drummed his fingers onto the bar, before slamming back the drink he had.

"Sid." he said to the bartender.

"We're borrowing the VIP Lounge." he told him.

"Right." the man responded, tossing a pair of keys at the Gregory, who caught it with ease.

"We're going to the back room." Gregory told Sariel.

"As it stands, it's the most private place in this private little pocket dimension." he said further. "And in the afterlife, that's as private as it's gonna get." he then reasoned.

"Looking for ME, eh?" Gregory said.

"Such an honour." he muttered.

"But all right, enough with the sarcasm, enough with the pleasantries, WHY are you here, in a dive like this?" he asked her, before looking and seeing that all eyes were still on them. On her.

"Can we HELP you!?" he snapped, causing everyone to abruptly go on about their business.

"Lost souls. Pathetic things." he growled.
