"All right." Rene said to her.

"See you later." he told her.

"Hey, Anna?" Ash then said.

"Thanks for getting ahold of me so quickly." he said further.

"If Luke and Andrew need any Fyrane help, lemme know."

Ash looked at her and nodded.

"Most likely." he said.

"Then you can probably help her." Rene told him.

Ash then placed his hands on Kelly's stomach, and started to take in some of the massive heat she was exuding, as Rene put the IV's into her arms, connecting her up, and making sure things were working.

"We'll need to keep monitoring her closely." he then said.

"She's in a BAD state right now."

Ash shook his head.

"No. I can't." he told her.

Anna immediately was on the horn with Rene, who arrived mere moments later, ready to work. And he was taken aback by the temperature of her.

"Holy friggin' hell." he said.

"Right, I'm setting up the IV's." he said further.

"You okay with this heat, Anna?" he asked his cousin.

Ash didn't even have time to respond properly, but he knew better than to ask questions now.

"Got it." he said, before she hung up.

"...what was that?" Lindsay asked, looking over to his brother, the two having just been watching television.

"Been called away on an emergency. Like, NOW. No time to talk." Ash responded, before disappearing from where he was. He arrived at Anna's home, teleported in, was immediately alarmed by the temperature that Kelly had, but picked her up and the two were suddenly at OLA, by his own doing.

He looked around, before seeing Anna there, quickly making his way over... and Anna could FEEL the heat emanating from Kelly.

"Got it." Andrew responded, before Anna hung up on him.

He then sighed and looked at Kelly, before closing his eyes and concentrating. He then held his hands above her, and small petals that were coloured a light blue started to flutter down towards her body.

And as they did, they looked like they were starting to freeze up instantly.

"Frost petals?" Lucas asked.

"Your mother suggested it." Andrew responded, as they hit Kelly's body.

"I'm not leaving you!" Lucas exclaimed, before Andrew, who had just come running in, yanked him away from Kelly, and quickly picked the young woman up in his own arms. He swiftly took her to the den and laid her on the couch, before checking himself over.

"Lucas, that's sweet, but don't be an idiot." he told his son.

He then took out his cell phone and called Anna. When she didn't answer, he called again. And then again, until she answered.

"Yes!?" she exclaimed, clearly very irritated.

"Kelly suddenly collapsed and she's running temperatures so high, she's burning myself and Lucas to the touch." Andrew told her.

"Send someone here that you trust, that can handle high temperatures, to pick her up and bring her to OLA." he said further. "I don't think our teleportation mana is going to work on her right now."

Lucas could see that she was getting worse by the second, and it started to concern him greatly.

"...Kelly...?" he mumbled.

That's when she just started to fall. Collapse. And he raced towards her, managing to ungracefully catch her, as they both crumpled to the floor.

"KELLY!" he exclaimed.

"Are you all right!?" he asked her.

"DAD! KELLY COLLAPSED!" he then yelled to Andrew, before looking back towards Kelly.

"Hey, are you-" he started to ask, before he noticed the ABSURDLY hot temperatures emanating from her.

She just stood there for a few seconds, trying to balance herself.

All was silent around her, except for the television that Andrew was watching.

But other than that... nothing. She heard no footsteps, felt no presence, nothing.

Then Lucas stepped into the room, having come in from outside.

"...Kelly, you okay?" he asked, seeing her as she was.

"...I'll be grateful for that." Ash mumbled.

"In the meantime, I'll still cook for you and cater to your every whim." he then said with a small smirk.

"I'm actually marinating some Quill-fur Moose meat for that stew you said you liked about... 4 months ago." he told her. "It should be done in the next 3 hours, and I'll start making it." he went on.

"All goes well, you'll be eating it very soon."

Ash did not look impressed.

"Greeeeeat." he growled.

"Just beautiful." he said sarcastically.

"Well, has it gotten WORSE?" he asked her.

The last thing he wanted or needed was his wife to be on a steady decline. If she was the same, then he didn't need to worry QUITE as much, as it meant that she was just being inconvenienced at the moment.

Which, admittedly, could mean life or death, given the current state of affairs.

"Here's hoping." Lindsay agreed.

"She said 'later', so I'll head there in about an hour or so." Ash told them.

"Give her time to be patched up and such." he reasoned.

"That's fair." Lindsay said.

Ash then looked over towards Ashleigh.

"You seem a bit more on the lively side today. Feeling better?" he asked her.

"If she is, it's news to me." Lindsay interjected. "Only reason she's not in bed right now is so she doesn't spend 24/7 LITERALLY just in bed." he said.

"Sydney just told me." Ash replied.

"Sydney?" Lindsay asked.

Ash responded by quoting the text she had sent him, and then sighed.

"Guess I'm going there soon." he muttered.

"Is that wise?" Lindsay inquired.

"I can't afford NOT to." Ash countered.

Nico pocketed his phone again, as Rene continued to work on Sydney.

"I should be able to get you fighting fit pretty soon." he told her.

"Overall, looks like you could have gotten out of this a lot worse." he said further.

Meanwhile, Ash, Ashleigh, and Lindsay were sitting in their den, when Ash looked at his phone, and was silent for a moment.

"SON OF A BITCH!" he cursed loudly.

"The Fallen DO have an archangel as a leader!"

Rene was stunned for a moment.

"I... yeah, sure." he said.

"I can do that." he told her as he approached.

"A trio of Fallen? Damn. You ARE a tough cookie." he told her. "Fallen are no joke." he went on.

"Seriously, you're a force to be reckoned with."
