Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"....of course." she heard immediately.

"I'll let them know RIGHT NOW." he told her.

---

"I'm kinda busy right now!" the man called back.

"Got my hands in some pizza dough!" he added with a laugh.

She then got up and made her way to the door, opening it, and seeing a VERY distraught-looking Ty there.

"...I need your help." he said quietly.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Ty was silent again, before she heard a heavy sigh.

"Yeah." he said.

"I... I believe that." he told her.

"I don't 'know it', but... but I need to remain positive." he said further.

"Anyway, I'm going to get into contact with Jake and Anya." he then said.

"And keep scouring the streets for info."

"...." Ty was silent for a moment.

"Sure." he said.

"I'll call Jake and Anya." he told her.

"You contact Zeke and his father, as well as enlist the help of the fae at your home." he said further.

"I do know that those fae have taken to Lunet." he went on.

"So they should be... well... quite motivated to help."

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"...holy shit." Ty mumbled.

"I... that's... wow." he said.

"Even if Encrae were still alive, THAT never happened when she got in the way of a wish." he said further.

"Damn it." he cursed.

"Well, all I can do is try and track down Lunet." he then said further.

"...somehow..."

"...." Ty was silent for a moment.

"Oh. Right. She... she IS dead, isn't she...?" he mumbled.

"Yes. Right." he muttered.

"Wait, so... backfired?" he then asked.

"What do you mean backfired? What happened?" he asked her.

"HOW did it backfire?"

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Nate watched her go, and paused, looking back at Hal.

He was silent, before thinking of ways he could keep this secret.

Meanwhile, in her office, Angela could hear the anger on the other side of the phone.

"What!?" Ty exclaimed.

"Backfired!?" he asked.

"So that Encrae bitch is involved!"

great big one on me.

Nate nodded his head.

"Right." he said.

Then, it seemed like what she said had hit him, and he recoiled slightly.

"HIS MA-" he started to say, but a glare from her shut him up.

"That explains a lot about his aura." he mumbled quietly.

"A-anyway, go and... do what you need to." he then told her, obviously a little shaken from this news.

great big one on me.

"..." Nate was silent again, before his eyes widened.

"I..." he stammered.

"His life-aura is... well... it's... it's there..." he said.

"It's... steady... but it's nowhere near as strong and vibrant as usual." he told her further.

"It's like he's a shell of his former self. But he doesn't appear to be fading, anyway."

"..." Nate was silent for a moment, before nodding.

"O... Okay..." he said.

"Got it." he told her.

She then received a text from Ty.

I want answers in 10 minutes. was all it said.

She could FEEL the impatience behind it, but it was understandable.

Lunet was missing, and now his best friend was suddenly out of commission.

Ty looked at the text he got... and froze.

His mind practically SNAPPED at that point. Almost. He managed to keep it together.

What. he sent back.

Tell me. NOW. he quickly sent further.

The HELL is going ON!? he quickly added.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

As soon as Arryn stepped inside, the swirling cloud stopped. And was still.

The two women watched as it seemed to be suspended in time for another moment, but then it flew RIGHT towards Arryn.

Before she could dodge, or do ANYTHING, the mana slammed into her body, absorbing itself into her, and she felt herself awash with immense power, her being flowing with the ability to do ANY and ALL things!

...provided someone wished it.

Angela also discovered that Hal seemed to still have vital signs.

They were faint, but there.

Hal nodded in response and snapped his fingers. He then paused for a moment, closing his eyes and leaning back... but after a few seconds, Angela saw a VERY strained expression on his face, as he tightened his eyelids.

However, before she could say anything or ask anything, his eyes popped open wide, and he let out a scream of pain and agony as he grasped at his head. And then, as though something hit him square in the chest, he went flying back against the closest wall, slamming into it, and falling onto his ass, out cold.

But it didn't stop THERE.

She then saw his mana start to 'leak out' from his body, as though it were steam rising from boiling water.

It rose above him, and started to swirl around, like a dark spiral cloud.

great big one on me.

"All he had was that Lunet wasn't there, nobody at the café saw anything, and her bag was left behind, visor inside." Hal responded. "That's it." he said further, shaking his head slightly. "And she's not answering her phone." he added with a growl.

"So please." he told her.

"Because we need to figure this out NOW." he reasoned.

"I do NOT want anything to happen to her." he stated, and she could tell he was doing his best to hold it together. He was succeeding... basically. He was angry, yes, but she could see the rage and worry in his eyes.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

When Ty showed up at the café, he looked around, wondering where Lunet was. His puzzled expression did not go unnoticed by a staff member, and they approached him. After a brief conversation, with Ty explaining he was here to meet Lunet, giving a brief description, and then asking if he had seen her, the staff member seemed to recall something, and went back into the establishment. After about 30 seconds, they returned with Lunet's bag, stating that one that had fit the description had been there recently, but had disappeared while their backs were turned, leaving the bag behind.

Ty's face seemed to be drained of all colour when he heard that, and he quickly took the bag from the person, excusing himself and looking inside it. When he saw her visor inside, his heart sank to his stomach, and he asked the man if they'd seen anything in regard to Lunet leaving. Sadly, nothing had been seen, so Ty quickly excused himself again, and dashed towards his car, digging his cell phone out of his pocket.

Meanwhile, Hal and Angela were in the former's office, going through some requisition paperwork for the Unit's medical wing, when they heard Hal's cell phone go off. Hal paused and gave Angela a gesture for her to wait a moment, before looking at the device, raising and eyebrow, and answering it.

"Hello, Ty. What's up?" he asked. There was then a few seconds of silence, as Angela saw his expression go from mild annoyance (from being interrupted), to sheer shock and horror, to disbelief, and then anger.

"I understand." he said. "You do what you can right there and then, I'll do what I can." he finished, before the call was ended.

"SON OF A BITCH!" he yelled, throwing his phone off to the side, the device landing in a nearby chair, so it wasn't damaged.

"Lunet is missing!" he told the confused and surprised Angela, relaying what Ty had told him, which amounted to the situation, and what he had found.
