Ryker looked over to Eke for a moment, said nothing, and then looked back to the fire.

"Almost midnight." he said.

"Like, quarter to." he told him further.

"You should probably go back to bed. Try and wake up in the morning so you have a more normal sleep schedule. Don't need to be a night-owl." he continued.

"Food's on one of the tables. Probably cold by now."

"...hm." Ty mumbled.

"Well... just... hm." was all he could say. He then sighed quietly, and shook his head.

"If you need help, let me know." he told her. "Moral support, pushing you to make that appointment if need be, just let me know." he said further, drinking some more water.

"Also, I'll say this right now." he then said, leaning forward.

"If this gets worse, to the point where Peyton is starting to worry about you, you ARE making an appointment with Dr. Fyrane." he stressed.

"It'll be an order from Sharp, if need be."

Ty thought for a moment, and nodded in response.

"Heh, sure thing." he said.

"Sounds good. I haven't died to alcohol poisoning trying to outdrink you in a while." he laughed, but stopped it short and cleared his throat. "And I don't plan to go THAT far again. Though getting drunk while in your company would be nice." he assured her.

"And why can't you bring yourself to?" he asked.

"There's nothing wrong with it. And you KNOW it's confidential." he went on.

"He'll even make a 'house call' to your dorm if you like."

"...oh, that's not good." Ty responded.

"Might be a sign that something more's going on." he said further.

"Thinking you might see someone about it?" he asked. "Like Dr. Fyrane, perhaps?" he suggested further.

"Evan HAS been a miracle worker for this place." he reminded her.

"Seriously. I've actually cut back on my excessive drinking even MORE because of him..." he continued, which was saying something, as getting together with Miki had caused him to reduce the times he drank to he passed out to a much more healthy degree.

"..." Ty was silent for a moment, shaking his head.

"Paperwork." he said.

"Went longer than I anticipated." he sighed.

"How are YOU doing?" he asked.

"You look like you're very distracted." he commented.

"Everything all right?"

Ty stepped into the area, having missed lunch because of some paperwork, and noticed Mira there. He smiled a little, getting his food, and making his way over towards where she was.

She was so busy looking over her shoulder, or to her side, she didn't even notice that he sat down across from her.

He grabbed his bottle of water, opened it, and looked her.

'Hm?' he thought.

"Yo, Mira?" he addressed her.

"No problem." Ilias replied.

"See ya." he told her, before leaving.

After he did, she looked at the weapon once more, and just... felt that bond with it, almost.

It was odd for her to have such strong feelings like this, but they were undeniable. And this spear almost cried out to be fixed, it seemed. Restored to its former glory.

It would take a lot of time for her to even see if that would be possible... but she relished the challenge.

However... it would need to be balanced with other obligations, as the orders and papers on her other desk proved.

"You're welcome." Ilias responded.

"And thanks for indulging and putting up with me." he said.

"I'll get better as time goes on, I promise." he assured her.

"For now, I should go, though." he then said further.

"See you later." he finished with a smile, as he headed back to the door.

"...odd." Ilias mumbled.

"Doesn't seem like it's... anything historically significant or special..." he commented.

"Well, I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out." he then told her.

"There anything you want or need right now?" he asked.

"Before I get back to work, anyway."

"Huh? Oh, sure." Ilias replied.

The two of them then set to work, and the weapon was safely and properly unpacked and unwrapped, and set on her desk. And it looked just as she remembered it.

"Wow, nice." he commented.

"Got your work cut out for this one." he told her.

"But... if anyone can restore this... it's you."

"...woah." Ilias muttered.

"I see." he said.

"Pretty cool you were allowed to have it brought here to be restored." he commented.

"But yeah, that shield is-" he started to say further, but then paused and stopped himself.

"...something I've gushed for long enough." he finished.

"Kiah told me to be mindful of this, so... I'll leave before I give you more of a headache than I'm sure I already have."

"That... is... awesome!" Ilias exclaimed.

"Just... a weapon that was owned by... held by... an actual God. And ZEUS, of all Gods!" he continued.

"Mira, you're truly amazing." he complimented her further.

"This is truly something that will change everything!" he told her, before pausing.

"...historical, anyway." he mumbled.

He then looked over towards the longer weapon that was there.

"...so what is THAT, exactly?" he asked.

He got no answer.

When he looked down, he saw Savra still sleeping at his feet... and then when he looked around even more, he noticed that, out the window, it was nighttime outside. Completely dark. But he swore he saw some faint light outside, off to the side, as well.

Ryker had found a small campground for them to set up, and had parked in an area for them. He'd let Eke continue to sleep inside, while he went outside and set up a campfire for himself.

He was just staring into it, as he roasted a sausage over the open flames, the dancing embers reflecting in his eyes.

"..." Ryker was silent as he saw this.

"Right then." he muttered.

He then left the vehicle and was gone for close to an hour, returning with food containers that smelled mostly of beef.

He set them on one of the counters before getting back to the driver's seat and pulling out of the parking lot.

"Need to find a place to camp for the night..."
