Ilias seemed to shut up and turn off immediately.

He watched that video with the same intensity as someone staring at a 'hidden picture' book.

He barely spoke, barely moved, and when it was done, he looked over towards her.

"Truly amazing." he said.

"This is absolutely phenomenal." he told her further.

"It had to have been quite something to actually HOLD it."

She could SEE the light in his eyes. See the enthusiasm he was containing.

"Well... well, yes, of course." he said.

"But.. but... but... the shield." he then said further.

"What was it like?" he asked her.

"Was it awesome? Heavy? Did it have a powerful aura?"

"See ya." Sean replied as she headed off.

She made her way to her office and stepped inside, where she saw a long wrapped package in the corner waiting for her. And she knew EXACTLY what it was. She smirked as she made her way over towards it, closing the door behind her, and looked it up and down.

She was going to enjoy this, she was sure of it.

However, she hadn't been in her office for more than 2 minutes, when she heard a restrained, yet frantic, knock on her door.

"Mira?? Mira, you in??" Ilias asked.

He did not.

As a matter of fact... nothing seemed to happen. At all.

However, one of the interns was walking by, noticed her, and smiled.

"Welcome back, Agent Greyson." he greeted her.

"...oh, yes, you're probably wonder about Dr. Nicolo." he then said.

"He's at the cafeteria for a very late lunch." he revealed. "Though he should be back... very soon." he went on. "If you want to head to your office, you can probably make it there before he returns." he chuckled.

Zeke laughed a little at her comment about Peyton, and nodded.

"I'll schedule him in to come visit you in your dorm for 'the works' tomorrow." he told her. "We both know he'll drop an appointment to work on your hair." he chuckled further.

"Any time good or bad for you?" he asked.

"Early afternoon." Mira responded.

"All righty then." Zeke said, stepping out of the way.

"I'll let you take your doggish cat... or... cattish dog... to the dorm." he finished.

"Ilias is... uh... bouncy." Zeke responded.

"He's promised not to seek you out and bombard you with questions. Kiah MADE him promise that." he told her. "But... uh... well, all bets are off if you enter the domain of the inquisitive Ilias known as R&D." he warned her further.

"Just... so you know." he said.

"You look like you REEEEEEEALLY don't want to be dealing with that, so I thought I'd just warn you." he shrugged.

"By the way... want me to get in touch with our stylist?" he asked, looking at her hair.

"Looks like you could use a touch-up." he commented.

Zeke just laughed when he heard that.

"I saw the light in her eyes." he said. "Like... wow." he muttered. "I've seen less excited looks from Liv on Christmas Day." he said further, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning against the door frame.

"Still. Heya." he greeted her.

"Taking a few days off before getting to work proper?" he asked.

"Yeah." Mira responded.

"Avoid R&D, then." Zeke told her. "Because hoooooly hell, Ilias..." he mumbled, trailing off at the end.

Mira didn't even have time to say anything, before Peyton launched herself into her arms, wrapping her arms around her.

They then heard a light chuckle as they saw Zeke standing over by the entrance to the receptionist's area.

"Saw Peyton rush by me like a woman on a mission." he said.

"Figured that could only mean one thing." he laughed.

"Welcome back, Mira." he said to the dwarf.

"Have fun?"

"You're very welcome." Hal responded.

"Thanks for making myself and The Unit look good!" he responded with a laugh.

"I'm kidding, you know that." he quickly stated.

"Any any rate, go on and meet the fox hug you know is waiting for you on the other side of that door." he told her.

"Welcome back, Mira." he finished, a smile on his face.

"Good to have you here again."

"MORE than substantial, my dear." Hal responded.

"You may have very well just opened up a new chapter in studying deities." he told her.

"The significance of your discovery cannot be overstated." he insisted.

"But, regardless, you're here just to say if there's any problems or issues that need addressing." he then said.

"If not, I'll finish up the file on this for the Council, and... you can get back to your life."

Hal just shrugged.

"People wanted to believe." he said.

"As for mana-IDing and such, it was assumed that the weapon had just... lost it." he told her. "Nobody knew how the Gods treated their weapons. For all they knew, the mana was taken out. Or it leaked out after Zeus 'retired'. Or he decided to not put any in it at all." he went on.

"Yes, some theories were more quickly debunked." he quickly clarified.

"Point is... it was the only one found. It fit the description. It was carbon-dated to be in the same era." he continued.

"That's pretty decent evidence."

"Yeah, it was Ilias." Hal confirmed with a chuckle. "Kiah curbed his enthusiasm pretty quickly, though. But you'll probably be bombarded with questions from him when you show up in R&D." he warned.

"As for your hair, feel free to take a day off to get that done." he said. "You'll probably need a day or two to get back into the swing of things here, anyway." he reasoned.

"And unexpected hiccups? Not really." he said. "...though this should come as no surprise to you, Peyton's been a busy little beaver, even for her." he went on. "Not concerningly so or anything, buuuut I'm sure Jake's told you about it already." he shrugged.

"Just go see her after this. Or... well, she'll find YOU, I'm sure." he told her. "...possibly be waiting for you to ambush you after you leave my office..." he then muttered.

"Still, excellent work out there." he said, changing the subject.

"Turned out better than anyone could have ever hoped."

Jake smiled warmly as she said that.

"Hey, she's a friend." he said. "And I look out for my friends." he told her.

"Anyway, get going." he finished with a light laugh.

With that, they parted ways, and she made her way to Hal's office with a few people greeting her along the way. She reached the receptionist's office, and was told she could immediately head in.

She did, and when she shut the door behind her and looked at Hal, she saw he had a proud smile on his face.

"Welcome back, Agent Greyson." he greeted her.

"I understand this was an enriching experience for you, to understate it." he chuckled, gesturing for her to take a seat.

Jake's smug smirk was easy to see. But it was because he LOVED hearing about how she could take people down a peg or three.

"Hah!" he laughed.

"Awesome!" he said.

"Well, welcome back, Mira." he repeated, buzzing her in.

"...listen." he then said, his voice far more serious right now. "I know Sharp is the first step in returning, obviously, but... you really should seek out Peyton after that." he told her.

"Seriously, she's missed you something fierce." he went on.

"She hasn't been miserable or anything, but... it's easy to see she... doesn't like falling asleep at night, knowing you're not there with her to do so, or will be there when she wakes up." he finished.
