"Well, when your wife wants nothing to do with you, and then CHEATS on you, yeah, you tend to seek pleasures elsewhere." he responded with some matching venom in his tone.

"HOLD IT!" Hal yelled.

"So whatever it was that possessed Mira was a soul YOU trapped in there for revenge?" he asked Hephaestus.

"Not exactly." the God replied.

"See... our marriage was a loveless one that she didn't even want to be in." he told her, gesturing to Roxie. "She cheated on me, Ares told me, and I was filled with anger and desired revenge." he explained further.

"However, I also realised this was not entirely her fault. So, using my unparalleled smithing, I crafted a weapon, and imparted my anger, jealousy, and desire for vengeance into it, and then sealed it away so I wouldn't need to deal with it." he said further.

"...admittedly, I did NOT expect it to... become somewhat sentient..." he then admitted.

He looked at her sharply and growled slightly.

"Nobody was supposed to find that weapons chamber." he told her.

"It was hidden away by Zeus, HIMSELF." he stated.

"And even then, how was I supposed to know that one of my descendants would find it and touch it, thereby activating it!?" he then exclaimed, unknowingly dropping a HUGE bomb on Mira right there and then.

"So no, do NOT start with THIS crap again, Aphrodite."

Hal still looked a little confused, before the man, Heph, stepped forward.

"Allow me to introduce myself." he said.

"Hephaestus." he revealed.

This caused Hal to almost recoil back physically from the sheer surprise of it all.

"You're... the Greek God, Hephaestus?" he asked.

"In the flesh." the God responded.

"And this... is my ex-wife." he said further, gesturing to Roxie.

Hal's jaw almost dropped when he heard THAT.

"But... Hephaestus' wife was..." he went on, trailing off at the end, almost unable to finish the statement.

Hal just snapped his fingers, and Izea was gone, disappeared from where she was, and back in her dorm. The walls there were specially insulated, like all others, to mute mana going in and out, but he knew it wouldn't quell THIS level of mana completely. Hopefully enough to where she could tolerate it. He then sighed and stood up, before making his way into the room with the others.

"Can I get an explanation here?" he asked, his tone VERY close to demanding it.

The man looked over towards Hal, and raised an eyebrow.

"Did you not hear what we were saying earlier?" he asked.

"I did." Hal responded. "But I would LOVE some more details." he added, holding back his anger and irritation.

"Especially how YOU are alive." he then said to Roxie. "Last I checked, whatever it was that had possessed Mira's body had attacked you and successfully KILLED you." he commented.

"...which explains the massive pulse earlier." the other man muttered, shaking his head.

He could almost HEAR her worry as he listed the things off, but it shifted to surprise at the end.

"A new family member?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" she asked him.

"Who?" she inquired further.

Ryker just rolled his eyes a little, before rolling the window down on his side and allowing the cool air to breeze into the his face.

The man looked at Roxie, and narrowed his eyes.

"...dear." he greeted her.

While this was happening, Hal was watching... and was almost overwhelmed by the sheer mana and presence he was feeling. However, he suddenly realised that Izzy was still there, and looked over towards her, seeing she looked ready to pass out from the pain in her head.

He was silent, before leaning close and whispering to her.

"Make the wish and you'll be away from here."

"It's... a long story." he sighed.

"I said that the anger and vengeance of a God was thrust upon you." he repeated.

"...it was MINE." he muttered.

"And I never intended for it to be found." he went on.

"...or even accessed." he admitted further.

"But... of all people, YOU had to find the spear."

He looked over towards Kiah, and paused.

"Nah." he said.

"SHE'LL be out for about 12 hours." he told her.

He then paused and looked at Mira once more, thinking about something. Before she could react, he patted her head a few times, and she felt an incredible surge of power run through her... and she immediately felt like a lot of the physical stress she was under... vanish.

"Now you won't need so much rest." he said.

"And... I'm sorry." he then apologised.

"All that's happened is... really MY fault."

"What happened?" she head an unfamiliar male voice ask.

When she looked, she saw the man that was standing there. He looked like he was caucasian, but had a tan, had stubble on his chin, looked muscular as all get-out, seemed to have nicks and cuts all over his arms and hands, and had a large scar across one of his eyes, seemingly causing it to be permanently closed.

"Long story short, the anger and vengeance of a God was thrust upon you." he told her.

"Also, fair warning, the fact that you're even lucid right now is your adrenaline." he then said. "Once that wears off, you're going to collapse and sleep for pretty much a day." he continued.

"You might want to find a place to be comfortable in the meantime."

Hal looked over and saw Kiah coming his way, though the window on the door, and before he could properly react or think about it, there was another massive pulse of mana, but it was then followed by someone now standing in front of the door. It looked to be a make with short, light brown hair, and he looked to stand at about 5'7''. He didn't look back towards Hal, merely flung open the door and looked at the rune spreading out and touching him.

"...right." he muttered.

He then lifted his foot and stomped down, IMMEDIATELY dispelling the rune. Afterwards, he looked at Kiah, and sighed.

He reached his hand out, quickly grabbed her face, and yanked the red mass that had gone inside her... out. He concentrated the pieces into one mass, and looked at it briefly.

"There..." he mumbled. "...and THERE..." he said further, flinging the mass back into Mira's body. As her body started to stir, he reached both his hands out, pulling that red mass out of Mira's body... and a clear substance, Mira's soul, out of the spear, before flinging them back into their respective 'containers'.

"And there." he finished.

Hal cried out when he was stricken by the pulse, and looked over towards Izea.

"Izea! Are you all right!?" he asked.

Meanwhile, inside, the rage that Kiah was feeling had now ramped up.

A LOT.

She was practically SEEING red now, and was starting to boil over with rage.

It was almost like that pulse of mana had caused her to start to lose ALL reason, and she had to get out of there. She had to find the source of where that had come from.

"Oh! All right." Aly responded.

She was then silent for a moment, taking something in.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

"You sound... well... so unenergetic." she commented.

Sharp just growled a little, and steadied himself.

"I'll be fine." he told her.

"But that means we have frighteningly strong mana at work here." he then said.

"...and we might need to evacuate. Fast." he went on.

"If she can't control herself, or her rune, then-" he started to say further, but Izea didn't hear anything past that.

Mostly because she suddenly heard what sounded like an extremely loud 'booming' sound... that was approaching at an alarming rate.

Hal could tell that Kiah was starting to lose it. Her rune was fluctuating wildly, but each time it spread out from being retracted, it went out just that little bit farther. She was losing it, no question about it.

"Damn it!" he cursed.

"We need to do something, and we need to do it NOW!" he commented.

But what? What could they do?

"Izea! Make a wish!" he then said to Izzy.

"I wish Kiah would calm down!" Izea responded.

Hal then snapped his fingers, and his mana pulsed out... only to be repelled by... something... and causing himself to be knocked back into the closest wall.
