Hal looked over towards her, and his eyes widened for a small second.

"I must go. Important meeting just came up." he told whomever was on the other end, before hanging up.

"Hello, Mira." he greeted her.

"Good to see you up and about." he said further.

"How are you feeling?" he asked.

"...you know she will." Nate responded.

"Give her a little more credit." he said, before shaking his head.

"At any rate, go on and see Sharp." he then said.

"I'll call ahead and let him know you're coming, so you can skip the receptionist." he offered.

"Streamline this just that smidgen."

Nate accepted the drink back and just mentally sighed.

"I'm sure it'll be fine." he said.

"From what we've learned, this wasn't your fault. At all." he told her.

"But yes, you should probably talk to Sharp." he agreed.

"Want me to call you when Peyton wakes up?" he then asked. "Odds are she'll be wanting to see you when she does."

Nate nodded in response, and the two of them made their way to Peyton's room. He opened the door and stepped inside, with her following, and they saw Peyton laying in the bed, hooked up to a few different things.

One thing was for certain... she'd looked better.

But the machines indicated she was stable.

"She's actually been improving over the past 10 hours or so." Nate told her.

"It's a remarkable recovery."

Nate just smiled softly.

"She rallied." he said.

"And Dr. Edwards did all she could. Worked herself to the verge of passing out. But they did it." he told her.

"Peyton will make a full recovery." he assured her further.

"...have a bit of a scar, but... she'll recover." he added.

"Actually, if you want to see her, you can see for yourself." he then offered.

"I'm sure it'd be fine for a moment or two."

Hal watched her go, and sighed quietly.

"The rest is up to you, Angela." he told her.

Eventually, Mira couldn't stay awake. What had happened had gotten to her, and she passed out where she was, refusing to go to a room. She slept for quite a while, and when she woke up, she was spread out over a few of the chairs, with a blanket over her.

She opened her eyes and saw people milling about, but it was Nate that noticed she was starting to sit up, and made his way over with the coffee he had in his hands. He'd made it for himself, but hadn't drank any yet... and figured Mira could use it more, right now.

"Good morning." he greeted her.

"Here." her said, offering the hot drink.

The look in his eyes was unmistakable.

She saw sadness and anger, and a resolve that was nigh-unbreakable.

"Do it." he said. "Word it however you want, just do it." he added.

"I wish Peyton would survive and recover from this." Angela stated, and as soon as she finished the last syllable, Hal snapped his fingers.

There was then an uncomfortable 5 seconds, before they heard Nate call out to Angela.

"Dr. Edwards! It's Peyton!" he said.

"She's starting to rally, but she needs you there to make sure she succeeds!"

"We're doing all we can, Mira." Hal told her.

"She's a fighter, much like yourself." he said.

"I'm sure she'll make it." he assured her.

'I hope.' he then thought, before calling the medical wing.

He let them know he was on his way with Kiah, and that she'd need to rest, and that Mira was with them for the same reason, and that she was no longer a threat. Just so there would be no panic when they arrived.

Hephaestus seemed to see Roxie's confusion, and sighed.

"I guess he wants the entire story from YOU, seeing as you're affiliated with this place." he told her. "If nothing else, just a condensed version, without the two of us at each other's throats." he went on.

He then paused for a moment, before snapping his fingers.

"Before I disappear from your life again, this time hopefully forever, may I ask of one small favour?" he then asked.

Meanwhile, Hal bit his lip when Mira said what she did.

"In a very big way, potentially." he replied.

"Charlie is dead because of what was possessing you, but... well, there are OTHERS more liable for that..." he growled, but then shook his head.

"Mira... that... that thing attacked Peyton. She's in the medical wing now, where they're trying to save her life."

Ryker looked at the toast and raised an eyebrow.

"...uh-huh." he said.

"So whatever's happening is REALLY messing you up." he muttered.

"No appetite. And you're eating PLAIN toast." he went on.

"Either you're feeling like absolute crap, or you have so much on your mind, you're not being your usual you."

Hephaestus was silent for a moment, before shaking his head.

"Go find a place." he said.

"Come with me." Hal told her, making his way to Kiah and lifting her up in his arms.

"You can both rest in the medical wing." he went on.

"...I have a lot to tell you, and you won't like a lot of it." he then said further, shaking his head a little.

Roxie then looked at her ex-husband, and saw he genuinely looked like he was feeling bad about this.

"I'll expect a more detailed and full explanation after you two have cleared things up." Hal told Roxie, before she could really comment on much.

"I love you too, Eke." Aly responded.

"And I can't wait to meet this Savra." she added with a smile to her tone.

"See you when you boys get home." she finished.

Ryker, meanwhile, checked the signs on the road, and nodded.

"Cool. On the right track." he muttered.

He paused for a moment, thinking about it.

"...huh." he muttered.

He then grabbed the spear and squeezed his hand around it, causing it to disappear from where it was. Completely and utterly.

"And there we go." he said. "Buried at the very bottom. Several hundred feet further down, I might add." he told her.

He was then silent again for another moment, before sighing.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay?" he said to her.

"I didn't anticipate this." he went on, looking at Mira next.

"And I'm sorry YOU were dragged into this unnecessarily."

"All right, seeing as YOU seem to know everything that's going to happen, and have absolute perfect future vision, TELL ME." he responded, looking at her sharply.

"WHERE should it go?" he asked.

"Where will it NEVER EVER be found?" he asked her further.

"Tell me." he stated.

"...." Hal was silent, before looking off to the side.

"...yep, they were married, all right..." he mumbled under his breath.
