"Well, I'll figure it out later." he said.

"Anyway, shall we be off?" Hal asked.

"Indeed." Lex responded, before looking at Hollie.

"Unless there's anything else you want or need to say before we go." he said.

"Is there?" he asked.

Alex was silent, before nodding.

"Right." he said.

"Got it." he told her.

"I'll be sure to do that immediately." he said further, before thinking about it.

"Hmmm..." he mumbled.

"Wonder who...?" he muttered aloud.

"Perhaps Jeanne d’Arc... maybe Voltaire..."

Hal smirked.

"Of course." he replied.

He then looked to the two confused necromancers.

"You ready to go?" he asked.

"Ah, yes. I am, anyway." Lex answered.

"What about you?" Hal then asked Aimee.

"...ready to go home again, Aimee?" Lex asked her quietly, with a small smile.

"No. You're not." Hal responded.

"I've already been repay more than well enough by your Aunt, and this just started as a random act of kindness, anyway." he told them.

"So you are not in my debt. At all." he assured them.

"...." Lex was silent, as he grabbed one of the keys.

"Wow." he said.

"You even made them really nice." he commented.

"A little flair here and there never hurt anyone." Hal chuckled.

"Still... thank you... so much..." Lex said quietly.

"You're both very welcome." Hal responded with a kind smile.

"I can understand that." Hal replied.

"Well, as long as you're all right." he said, making his way to a chair and sitting down.

"Now that the pleasantries are out of the way..." he went on with a chuckle, pulling a pair of identical silver keys out of his pocket.

"I believe these are yours." he told Aimee and Lex, setting them down in front of them, on Hollie's desk.

"Congratulations." he said.

"You know have official entry into the house. Your new home."

Ryker looked at Eke as he said what he did... and he saw the glint in his eye.

"...you thinking you want to check it out?" he asked.

"See if there's someone that needs help?" he asked further.

"Because hey, I'm for it." he shrugged.

"This vacation is for whatever YOU wanna do, Eke." he reminded him.

"So your call."

Hal was silent as well.

"I was unaware of that fact." he admitted.

"My apologies for putting you in such a situation." he apologised.

Lex just shook his head.

"She stepped outside before it got REALLY bad." he assured them.

"I was there to help her, as well." he added.

"But we managed, obviously." he added with a smile and a nod.

Lex looked over towards Hal and smiled as well.

"Hello." he greeted him.

"Hal Sharp, liaison between Triad and Council." Hal introduced himself.

"Good to finally meet you." he said.

"I hear the place looks like it wasn't abandoned now." he then chuckled.

They'd been waiting for about 15 minutes, before there was a knock on the door.

"Mr. Sharp is here." the voice said.

"Send him in." Hollie responded.

A few seconds later, the door opened, and Hal stepped into the room.

"Hello, hello." he greeted those that were there.

Hal thought for a moment.

"Well, we're both fluent in the language." he said.

"If you feel safe to, we can go there." he told her.

"I might know of a few places with lovely atmosphere and wonderful food." he suggested.

"If you'd feel more comfortable with here, we can have it brought here." he countered with a small shrug.

"What is the lady's choice?" he asked her with a smirk.

Hal just looked at her and nodded.

"Makes sense." he responded.

"If we returned to your office, they'd be pestering us." he muttered. "Or, you, at the very least." he went on.

"And fair enough on being able to discuss food more easily now." he went on, taking a seat nearby.

"You have any preferences?" he asked.

"I can eat almost anything, but you know I love spice and bold flavours."

"They are." Hal replied.

"I'll need to get the keys later today." he told her.

He then approached and smiled, taking the proffered hand.

"I'm ready." he said.

"Let us be off."

"Ah yes, getting out of this dusty atmosphere would be good." Hal agreed.

"And joining you for some food would be delightful." he told her.

"Where are you thinking?" he asked.

"And what?" he asked further.

"You feeling like having anything in particular?"

"I'm just glad I could help." he told her.

"Any stress off your shoulders is a good thing." he reasoned.

"And from what you've told me, those two have had hard enough lives as is." he went on. "They deserve a little help." he said further.

"I happened to be in a position to do so." he shrugged.

"Seemed like this was the right thing to do." he went on.

"And I'll make sure to meet them and properly introduce myself." he then added.
