They only fall... a-part.

"...remember when you asked which of my siblings I feared the most, just as a topic of conversation, and I mentioned that as a collective, we all tend to fear my our sister, Sariel?" he asked.

"...I do." Aimee responded.

"She has... a way with words." Uriel replied.

"When I went back up there, she noticed I looked irate, and commented that Gabriel had been looking smug, so she asked how the two were connected." he explained. "Because it'd be no secret that they are." he mumbled.

"Anyway, I told her, and she... said she would have a 'chat' with him." he then informed her.

"...what you just saw in Gabriel is someone that has been the target of one of her 'chats'." he revealed.

"And now you see why we fear her?" he asked.

A few seconds after she grabbed the feathers, Uriel appeared a few feet away from her.

"Hey." he said.

He then looked and saw the feathers she had.

"...seems Gabriel's been here." he commented.

"...........how'd it go?" he asked after a pause, though he still sounded hesitant.

"I'm willing to bet that he was nothing like you've seen him before."

"...you're right." Gabriel admitted.

"It's not fair." he agreed.

He then ate the kiwi she had given him... fairly quickly, and sighed.

"Thank you." he told her.

"....." he was then silent once more, as he just... faded from where he was, several feathers falling slowly, but heavily, down to the ground.

Again, he was silent.

"You will die." he said.

"It is inevitable." he told her.

"And when you die, you WILL leave him. Angels and archangels never mingle. That's just how it is." he said further.

"I won't approach you or your brother any longer." he then said.

"...my brother can make his own decisions for himself."

"...." again, Gabriel was silent for a moment.

"Archangels don't die." he said.

"Everyone in this realm does." he told her.

"You'll leave him. And he'll be in pain." he went on.

"....I don't hate YOU." he then said further.

"I hate what you'll inevitably end up doing to Uriel."

"....." Gabriel was silent, before accepting them.

".......thank you." he then said quietly.

"I'm sorry." he said further.

"It was wrong of me to do what I did, and say what I said. It was wrong of me to interject myself there like I did, and give you an unfair and unnecessary ultimatum." he went on.

"I'm a disgrace to my name, my calling, my title, everything." he said further.

"I'll leave you alone, now. I promise. And your brother, too." he added.

This was NOT the Gabriel she was used to. At ALL.

"And Alexandre." Uriel responded.

Then, they saw Gabriel disappear from where he was, teleporting somewhere.

A few seconds later, Aimee, who had gone back outside, saw a familiar pillar of light appear.

But it looked... different.

It wasn't as instantaneous as before, and it seemed a more... dull yellow in colour.

And when it dissipated, Gabriel was standing there... looking like a defeated, sullen, husk of his former self.

"Ohhhhh yeah." Uriel muttered in response.

-About 30 minutes later-

From their perspective, the conversation had ended, and Gabriel was slumped down. In every way. His legs were almost lifeless, his shoulders were hung, his head was hung, everything was just... down.

And they could almost SEE the cloud of gloom and doom around him.

They then saw Sariel leave, and walk towards them, which they responded with by immediately ceasing their peeking... though they knew she would know what they were doing.

They waited for her to arrive, and when she did, Raphael was the first to speak.

"...looks like you broke him." he commented.

Gabriel raised an eyebrow as Sariel said what she did, in the way she said it.

"Uhhhh..." he stammered.

"Yeah... sure." he said.

"Sure, I got time." he told her.

Meanwhile, Uriel, Raphael, and Azrael were watching from a afar, peeking out from behind a pillar in the distance.

"...this isn't going to be pretty." Raphael mumbled.

"EKE!" Ryker yelled out.

"No!" the figure exclaimed.

They then hunched in closer to themselves, and Eke could tell they were concentrating.

The storm started to calm down immensely, the lightning stopped completely.

But it was still raining heavily.

"Eke! Y'okay!?" Ryker called out concernedly.

"....does he really deserve this?" Uriel asked himself.

"Yes. Yes he does." he then muttered, narrowing his eyes.

Meanwhile, Gabriel was sitting on the ground, leaning against a tree with strange fruits on it, that looks like a cross between a pear and an apple. It was something that only grew there.

He had his arms folded behind his head, and was still smiling, when he looked over and saw his sister, Sariel, approaching him.

"...hm?" he mumbled.

"Wonder what's up..." he said quietly, as she got closer.

Uriel paused when she said that.

And she saw a brief flash of pity in his eyes, before it disappeared.

"I... ah..." he stammered.

"By all means." he said.

"If you wish to talk to him, be my guest." he told her.

"I'll... just... stay a safe distance away."

Uriel looked to his sister, and narrowed his eyes.

"He paid a visit to Aimee." he told her.

"And he did not threaten her." he said further.

"He did not directly threaten her brother." he continued.

"However, he insisted that if Aimee is to continue being involved with me, she needs to consider who she cares for more... myself, or her brother." he went on.

"So I'm not happy with him." growled.

"Him making such threats is still unacceptable." Uriel insisted.

"Don't worry, I'll see to it he learns a lesson." he assured her.

He then disappeared from where he was, and appeared back at his home... where his sister, Sariel, noticed him.

And noticed he was fuming.

She then remembered that she had seen Gabriel not so long ago, and he had a smug look to him.

It wasn't hard to guess they were connected.
