Uriel responded, by bringing the wing that was closest to her, even closer. So much so, she would barely need to reach out to touch it.

"By all means." he said.

"I warn you, though." he then said further, pausing a moment.

"Keep at it for too long, and you'll fall asleep." he warned her.

Aimee took heed of the warning, and gently pressed his palm against his wing... and instantly, she knew what he was talking about. There was a softness, a delicateness, a warmth to Uriel's wing. And she felt like she could just sink into it and have the best night's sleep she'd had... ever.

"....." Uriel was silent for a moment, before chuckling.

"Eh-heh. Thanks." he said.

"I mean, I just don't see it, but... considering the company I keep, that stands to reason." he said further.

"I've been told they look far better than Gabriel's, but then again, I try and take care of mine." he shrugged.

"...care to feel the difference between mine and his?" he asked.

Uriel looked around some, before shrugging.

He then leaned forward some, as his gorgeous white wings spread out from behind him. As they did, a few feathers fell off of them, and fluttered slowly to the floor, and that's when Aimee noticed it.

When they hit something solid, they disappeared.

They vanished, into thin air.

"Ahhh, feels good." Uriel said.

Uriel thought for a moment.

"Well... hm." he mumbled.

"Actually, I think it might be fine here." he told her.

"Maybe." he said.

"You're a pure-aligned necromancer, so you should be fine." he reasoned. "But a tainted necromancer might run into some issues if there were to... experience me when I'm not holding back." he explained.

"Although, 'form' is pushing it, come to think of it." he then said further.

"What I'm mostly doing is suppressing my mana and keeping my wings hidden." he admitted. "The latter is what makes me sore and stiff."

Uriel paused for a moment, seemingly stunned, before he collapsed in a chair that was behind him.

"....what I wouldn't give for a place where I can go to just be away from my brother." he said. "Or... well, just my siblings, overall." he muttered.

"If you're offering your domicile, then I shan't deny it." he admitted.

"And what I want to do?" he asked.

"Relax." he told her.

"Just have a quiet existence for a moment." he went on, cracking his back slightly.

"Though containing myself in this form is something I haven't done in a while. Makes me a little sore and stiff." he mumbled.

Uriel just shrugged.

"Wish I knew." he said.

"It puzzles me, too." he told her.

"At least I'm away from him for a bit." he then muttered.

"Get reeeeeeal sick and tired of his attitude." he lamented.

"This is a welcome break."

"Maybe." Uriel replied.

"Maybe not." he said further.

"That's up to Fate." he went on.

"And the first time you were saved was certainly a rarity, indeed." he commented.

"Judging from the feather, it was Gabriel." he informed her.

"And he loathes humanity."

He was silent again, thinking about it.

"Ah, well..." he mumbled, before shrugging.

"Sure, why not." he said.

"I have no last name. I have no middle name. I have one name." he told her.

"I am Uriel." he introduced himself.

He just sighed and shook his head.

"I dare say you didn't dream it." he told her.

"And... well, angels normally DON'T have siblings. Aside from the siblings they had in life, assuming THEY become angels as well." he then said.

"But I am not an angel. Even though I technically am. I'm not what people think of when they think of angels." he went on, cryptically.

"My siblings and I were... well... created, essentially." he informed her.

"And we deviate from your average angel considerably."

He crossed his arms over his chest.

"Naivety doesn't work on me." he told her.

"It might work on someone else, but not me." he said.

"ESPECIALLY me." he then added.

"After all, if there's one that knows that feather, it'd be the brother of the one it came from." he reasoned.

"...you are a selfless soul, as well." he commented.

"Truly, you stand out as a diamond in the rough in this miserable world." he told her.

"Not many waive their own concerns for others." he continued.

"A shame you live in this turbulent and chaotic time." he lamented.

"Your mana makes you quite special." he went on.

"....as is evidenced by your... unique... hair accessory."

He sighed once more, and shook his head slightly.

"You are a kind soul." he told her.

"Too kind to have to deal with the likes of those you encountered earlier." he reasoned.

"Tell me, is that common?" he asked.

"Do people attack you often?" he asked further.

He was silent as he looked at the brownies. He gingerly picked on up and examined it... before cautiously putting it in his mouth. He chewed a couple of times, paused, and then swallowed.

He said nothing, but cleared his throat.

"Yes, well." he said.

"They're certainly not bad-" he started to say, before sighing heavily.

"Oh, to Hell with it." he then said, before grabbing two more and tossing one in his mouth.

Aimee'd hit it home, it seemed.

"......" he was silent for a moment, before sighing quietly.

"You're right." he said. "I don't." he confirmed.

"And I know better than to argue with someone about this." he muttered. "Especially seeing as I can tell you are set on this." he went on.

"So I will indulge your curiosity." he continued.

"Maple." he said. "I have a soft spot for maple flavour." he informed her.

"So anything incorporating that is fine."
