Darrell accepted the phone, and called his Dad.

He sat down and talked with him, having a conversation, before hanging up.

"He... he says to talk to Vincent." he told him.

"Get him to scry for her." he said further.

"I... I don't know if he means here or there." he continued.

"Should I call him, or you?" he then asked.

Darrell took a few breaths, though they were broken by sobbing and hiccuping.

After a second, he looked at her.

He then told her again what happened. Jordan's eye, the panic from both of them, and how a hole had opened up under her. He knew he'd done it, but he didn't know how, or where it went.

"I'm sorry, Mommy!" he apologised again.

"I didn't mean to do it!"

Darrell looked ready to cry.

"Ah... ah... I... she..." he stammered.

"I don't know!" he yelled.

"She-came-in-to-the-room-and-she-looked-at-me-and-her-eye-was-all-glowy-and-she-yelled-and-then-I-yelled-and-then-she-yelled-and-then-I-put-my-arms-out-and-a-hole-appeared-and-she-fell-in-and-she's-gone-and-I-can't-find-her!" he exclaimed further, in one run-on sentence.

"I'm sorry!" he apologised, now crying.

"I don't know what happened!" he yelled.

"I didn't mean to!!!"

Darrell froze for a moment, panicking even more.

"Ah.. ah..." he stammered.

"Be right there!" he called out.

However, Desiree had had her headphones on, and while they didn't give her perfect hearing, they gave her damn good hearing.

And she was a mother.

She knew panic and hurriedness when she heard it.

"......" Darrell was silent for a moment.

Immediately, he was relieved that that eye wasn't piercing through him.

However, that relief was extremely short-lived, as he was then filled with panic.

His sister wasn't here. She was gone.

He'd caused her to go... and he didn't know WHERE, exactly.

He started to panic, looking back and forth, and looking at his hands.

"Jordan!? Where are you!?" he asked, looking behind all the furniture.

"Come on, where are you!? Please come out!"

As soon as he saw her bright eye, he cried out in surprise, and a little bit of fear.

This, of course, caused HER to become more scared.

And that's when her brother extended his arms out, palms towards her.

Out of some... instinct... he looked like he channelled something.

And a hole opened up in the floor, right under his sister.

"Mom!" Jaden exclaimed.

"Darrell's here!" he said.

"Huh?" Darrell replied.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

Jaden just face-palmed and Nico laughed out loud.

"Watch. Now that you've called attention to it, it'll be all he says." he declared.

Darrel hugged Desiree and didn't let go, glad to see his Mom again, and to be held by her.

"Well, suppose we should go." Jaden said.

"Try and get back to our lives." he went on.

"Oh, and Mom?" he then said to Sydney.

"I think we've told you this, but we're waiting until Jordan's at least a year old." he told her.

Jaden just sighed, and didn't say anything as Darrell returned.

"Someone say my name?" he asked.

Jaden was silent, before looking at him.

"So. Did you have fun with grandma and grandpa?" he asked.

"Yes!" Darrell exclaimed.

"It was fun staying here!" he told them.

"Thanks again for looking after him." Jaden said to Sydney and Nico.

There was a heavy silence in the room for a moment.

Jaden then sighed.

"It's Éliás." he told her.

"My real first name is Éliás." he confirmed.

"My full name is is Éliás Jaden B-" he started to say further, before freezing, almost like he was in fear.

"Sherwood." he said.

"My last name is Sherwood. And it was never anything else." he growled.

"Same as Mom." he added.

"Ah, I see." Nico replied.

"Jordan is a fine name." he said.

"I hope she'll like it in her future." Jaden commented.

"She won't." Nico responded.

"Huh?" Jaden asked, concerned now.

"All children go through a point in their lives when they don't like their name." Nico said.

"Isn't that right, 'JADEN'?" he asked with a smirk, doing air quotes when he said the name.

"At least there's that." Jaden said.

"But yeah, I really should talk to Darrell." he admitted.

"WE should." Nico corrected him.

"I'M the one that passed it to you, so it's my responsibility as well." he reasoned.

"Okay, that's fair." Jaden replied.

"But it doesn't have to be immediate." Nico then said.

"It can wait for at least a day or so. Let him see his sister first." he chuckled.

"By the way, what did you decide for a name?" he asked. "I recall you were bouncing through several ideas, but nothing was made concrete."

"That's something we'll find out later." Nico replied.

"For now, we need to talk to Darrell about his... new talent." he reasoned.

"...yeah, you're right." Jaden agreed.

"However, good to see you're no worse for the wear, Desiree." Nico then said to Desiree.

"That Dr. Calder really IS a miracle worker." he chuckled.

"And you should never have to go through that again." he added.

"Me?" Jaden replied.

"Wait, is it mana showing already?" he asked.

"Nope." Nico said.

"Then... how...?" Jaden started to ask, before pausing.

".......wait..." he muttered.

"No way." he said.

"It's not THAT surprising, son." Nico told him.
