Jackson just sighed, before shaking his head and storming off.

He needed to blow off steam, and he needed to do it NOW.

Meanwhile, Hal was in his office, going through news feeds, and stopping for a moment.

"...wait, what?" he muttered.

"The movement is... already losing traction?" he mumbled further, smiling a little, before hearing a knock on his door.

"Enter!" he called to whomever it was.

Jackson was silent.

"...I can't." he said.

"I'm too angry." he told her.

"I feel ready to lash out at someone. Anyone." he went on.

"So I'm going to destroy some heavy bags in the hopes it satisfies this." he said further.

"You tell Agent Sharp."

Robyn saw the anger in Jackson's eyes, but she also saw extreme sadness, and tears beginning to well up in them.

"It's..." he stammered.

"It's Becca." he told her.

Then, before she could ask, he thrust the phone towards her.

"Here, read it." he said.

"She's sacrificing herself! To save the world!" he went on.

"But she's gone back to... to HIM!"

15 minutes later, Jackson received a text.

"Huh?" he muttered, looking at his phone.

He'd been busy looking for Rebecca, and hoped it wad from her.

It was, but when he read it, he got very angry suddenly.

"Son of a BITCH!" he yelled, punching the closest wall, and not caring who was around him, or who heard or saw him.

"DAMN IT!" he cursed further.

After a minute or so, she received a text.

You're a smart girl. You're waiting for me to fix the world, aren't you? he sent.

Very well. he then sent further.

Give me 30 minutes. And then check the news. the next one read.

And don't you dare try and hide. he warned her.

I've already proven you can't get away from me.

When she arrived at her home, she found nothing.

Nobody was there.

She was alone.

However, as she predicted, she then received a call. Not a text. A call.

From a private number.

"Good girl." Liam said to her when she answered.

"Now. Look out your window." he told her.

When she did, she saw him standing about 10 metres away.

Just staring at her.

She was making her way to the entrance, where she discovered that... she couldn't leave.

There was a lockdown.

However, she then received one more text.

Wait for the buzz. was all it said.

After about 15 seconds, she heard it... and a click.

She knew what that meant.

The door was unlocked now.

She could leave.

As she walked, her cell chimed.

If you tell the boss, how do you think he'll react? it asked.

Then it chimed again.

How do you think he'll react to knowing that his Unit is in danger because of you? it asked her further.

Chime.

Are you willing to risk it?

Chime.

Do you want everyone to know they're in danger because of you?

Chime.

Can you even trust anyone here? How do you know the Mutt hasn't already tainted their views of you?

When she reached her dorm and shut the door behind her, she saw that she was alone.

Or, she thought she was, anyway.

As she started to change out of her swimsuit, she heard Liam's voice.

"Rebecca..." it echoed, but every time she whirled around to look, there was no-one there.

She then turned around and sighed, before she swore she saw the shadow of someone in her peripheral vision. But again, nobody.

She was still alone.

And that's when her phone chimed once more, indicating she had a text waiting for her.

One that read: Do you really belong here?

Jake was about to say something more to her, before she left.

"Ah..." he stammered.

"Hm." he mumbled.

"Was about to suggest you at least wrap a towel around you, but... whatever, I suppose." he said, scratching the back of his head.

Meanwhile, as she walked, she received some... attention along the way.

The people at the Unit were tolerant and accepting, yes, but... they weren't above the occasional cat-call. And she received one or two, as well as a few whistles as she made her way back to her dorm.

"....I see." Jake replied.

"Well, be more careful next time." he told her, helping her to her feet and making sure she was steady.

"All right." he mumbled.

"Maybe you should consider heading back to your dorm." he commented.

"...and maybe I should consider finding the one that's supposed to be stationed here." he then said.

"There should be a lifeguard here at ALL times." he added, not sounding impressed.

Jake nodded in response.

"No thanks necessary." he told her. "Just doing my job." he said.

"...though this DOES raise some questions..." he admitted.

"The first, and more important one, being 'are you all right'?" he asked.

"The second being... well... how did this happen??" he asked her further.

"Seriously. You drowning in this pool should be an impossibility." he continued.

"What happened here?"

Jake just sighed.

"I was chatting with a colleague in one of the security observation rooms... thankfully, the one that has monitors to this area." he told her.

"We noticed that you had been swimming, but then it seemed like you had been underwater for too long, and it looked like you were struggling to get to the surface." he continued.

"Now, I know that drowning for you isn't impossible, but highly unlikely." he went on.

"That being said, I immediately rushed her and saw that you were unconscious. So I pulled you out and ended up having to give you CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation." he explained further.

"Seems I made it JUST in time."

She was leaning there for about a minute.

It was silent and calming once more, and it seemed like that was it.

But... as soon as she lowered herself a little, and started to swim forward, she felt something.

Something strange.

She felt heavy.

She suddenly felt like she couldn't swim... at all.

And Liam's voice was in her head.

'No way out...' it echoed.

And when she looked around, she swore the edges of the pool were much further out than they really were... and she could feel herself sinking. Almost being dragged under the surface.
