"Desiree?" Jaden said.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"...nothing. Thought I saw something." Desiree replied.

Meanwhile, Darrell thought for a moment.

"Hey!" he said to his sister.

"Wanna play hide-n-seek?" he asked.

"I'll hide and you look for me!"

"Okay, fair." Jaden replied.

"Darrell!" he called out, causing the kids to stop.

"Watch Jordan! Your mother and I are going to check something!" he said.

"Okay!" Darrell called back.

He then looked at his sister, and smiled.

"Hey." he said.

"Rar!" he exclaimed, faking a pounce towards her.

Jaden just sighed.

"...I know." he replied.

"He then looked to their children again, before looking off to the side.

[b]"Oh!" he exclaimed.

"Looks like there's a sweets vendor by the road down there." he told her.

"Want me to see what they have?" he asked.

"See if we can all find something there?" he asked further, as Darrel managed to dump a clump of leaves on Jordan's head.

Darrell brushed the leaves away from his face, and chased after her, picking up leaves as he did so.

"I'll get YOU, too!" he declared.

Jaden and Desiree, meanwhile, were sitting at a nearby bench, watching their children.

"Heh." Jaden chuckled.

"So young and full of energy." he said.

"And they're so close. Not many siblings are as close as they are."

"...." Darrell was silent for a moment.

"Hamburgers." he said.

"And fries." he said further.

"That sounds good right now." he told her.

"But.. but whatever Jordan wants is cool." he went on.

"I think... maybe she should get to have whatever she wants..."

Vincent returned the hug, and smiled with a nod and a chuckle as she stepped back and said what she did.

"All right." he said.

"Bye for now, you two." he told them.

He then disappeared in a small whirlwind, and Darrell looked at his mother.

"Um..." he stammered.

"...Jordan's... Jordan's okay, right?" he asked.

"Like... she's okay?" he repeated, but she knew what he was asking. He wanted to know if she was hurt, or mad, or anything like that.

Darrell looked guilty, and nodded.

"....ok..." he said.

"Well, then." Vincent commented, packing things up.

"I can see that I'M no longer needed here." he chuckled.

"So I'll just be moseying along." he said further.

"Anything else, while I'm here?" he asked Desiree.

"Or is that all?"

Darrell just looked away.

"....yes." he said.

"I'm sorry..." he apologised.

"You reacted on instinct. It's all right." Vincent told him.

"This just means that you'll need to have your father and grandmother help you with controlling your new mana." he said.

"That's all." he smiled.

"I don't think you're in any real trouble." he went on.

"...but I'm not your parent, so..." he then mumbled, trying his best not to overstep any boundaries.

".....huh?" Darrell asked, obviously confused.

"Darrell, remember how you were told that your mother and father each have a special gift that was given to them by their parents?" Vincent asked him.

"Yeah..." Darrell replied.

"And remember how you were told about how you inherited your father's gift?" he asked further.

"...yes..." Darrell replied further, before stopping.

"Wait!" he exclaimed.

"So... so Jordan got...?" he started to ask, before Vincent nodded and smiled.

"Precisely." he confirmed.

"....huh?" Darrell asked.

"That I'm really, really sorry...?" he replied.

"I think she knows that." Vincent responded.

"I'm pretty sure he sent Jordan there because, even though he was scared, it was a place he trusted and knew his sister would be relatively safe." he told Desiree.

Darrell just nodded.

"And... and I don't know how I did it." he continued.

"It just... happened. I was scared, and it felt like my sister was... like... be angry and silently picking on me..." he went on.

It was an awkward explanation, but it was as close as a kid could get to, to describe being 'judged'.

Vincent looked at Darrell after Desiree and Jodan left, and sighed.

"Hmmm." he mumbled.

"A place you've been before?" he asked.

"Yeah." Darrel replied. "A park that I really like." he said.

"And I'll bet that, even though you were scared, you sent her there because it's a place you trusted, and I bet you knew she'd be safe there." Vincent added.

"...I guess so...?" Darrel replied confusedly.

Vincent just chuckled.

"You're a good kid." he said.

Vincent nodded and began the process.

The string and crystal looked to be wild and erratic, before the crystal slammed down somewhere.

"...there." he said.

He then looked down at the location.

"...looks like a park." he said.

"In... Ireland...?" he went on.

Desiree knew the place. They'd been there before on vacation... and given that it was Darrell... it was probably by the play area that he'd liked so much.

"Of course." Vincent responded.

Within a matter of a couple of minutes, Vincent was with Desiree and Darrell, with everything he needed.

"All right." he said, spreading it out.

"This... should work." he told them, grabbing the crystal and string.

"Desiree, are you ready to move as soon as we have an answer?" he asked Desiree.

"N-no, I know it." he stammered, before dialling the phone.

Meanwhile, Vincent and Rowena were sitting in the backyard, enjoying the sun, when Vincent's cell went off.

He picked it up and answered it, after looking at the I.D.

"Hello?" he said.

"...." he was then silent, before quickly speaking. "Darrell, Darrell, calm down." he told the boy. "Just calm down and tell your mother I will help." he said further.

There was then another silence, before he sighed.

"I'll go to you." he said. "I'll be there in a couple of minutes." he finished, before hanging up.

"Rowena, I have to go." he told his wife.

"Long story short, Jordan seems to have inherited Desiree's eye, it manifested, both she and Darrell freaked out when they saw each other, Darrell manifested a portal under her, and now I need to scry for her." he summarised.
