@Purpsy: It's a weird feeling to describe, my hands just.. get numb-ish. Like that 'asleep' feeling, pins-and-needles. It's not necessarily painful but super uncomfortable. Then it's almost like my hands don't cooperate with my brain. Like a Lag.
For example, if we had a snowball fight and my gloves failed to keep my fingers warm, my throws would be terrible because releasing the snowball would become difficult for me.
As of recently, new this year, my pinky toes go numb when my feet get cold.
I should be working out and working on cardio to get my blood circulation at least a little better so I don't have this problem for the rest of my life. I don't wanna even imagine how much worse this could get if I don't do something soon. o3o"
Thermos socks Are Amazing! I'd also recommend Alpaca socks. c: But again, expensive stuff, but worth iiiit. <3

@Purpsy: I really hope you get better sleep tonight. <3
I got raynauds. Which is just forever-cold toes and fingers. :< But I'm used to it. I just can't touch ice directly anymore or my fingers get too cold and I can't use my hands properly for an hour or so.
Oh my gosh! I have a plethora of fuzzy socks. <333 I am now an adult and every year on Christmas, I get socks and get excited about it. lol!

@Purpsy: oh gosh, I get that. Eating [depending on the food] makes me super sleepy too.
5 in the morning? D:
Fresh air wakes me up.
And I got bad circulation in my hands and toes, so once I'm up, my feet get cold and I'm awake. I've tried my body to fall asleep once my hands and feet are warm. XD There are some nights I lay in bed for hours waiting for my temperature in my feeties and hands to go up.

@Purpsy: I hate that. I hope you get better sleep tonight. <3 I had a lot of those bad sleep days last week.
I attempted to sleep in this morning, but I had one doggo that was demanding to go outside. :T

@Purpsy: It's afternoon now too. c: I got busy this morning. Lots of phone calls for some reason. How's your day going?
@Wildfire: Good! I love it when appointments go smoothly.
I was one of those people that downloaded Minecraft when it was being created still. e.e' So no creepers, etc. Just building, farming, and avoiding zombies and skeletons. My husband and I played it together when we married. Then the game exploded and it got wildly popular.
I feel like I'm relearning how to play because of all the new features. XD I can't play with my son, or else he tells me I'm doing something wrong, or what something does. lol

@Wildfire: Minecraft is a good down-time game. I played it plenty before the kids were born and once they could play it, I didn't go back to it. The game got annoying.
Anywho, I'm glad my husband kept them busy most of the day.
Sounds like your mother's day was good! <3
Good luck at the college!
@Purpsy: Good Morning. <3

Good Morning~ <3
Thank you for the mother's day wishes. Yesterday was a good day. I had originally wanted to get out of the house. But, the weather turned. So my husband entertained the kids the best he could while I sat in our projector room and played minecraft. XD

@Purpsy: I guess it'd be hard to compare your own sibling relationship with those who don't have twin siblings. =O XD I feel silly for asking.
BUT I think it's awesome you have a twin brother. c: <3 I adopted a family member the same age as my son. So, I guess my curiosity is high because of my 2 kids. They're only a few months apart and look close enough alike that I get a lot of "Are they twins?" at the park and stuff. I love telling people "no, but they're 6 months apart." It takes people a minute to process that 6 months, isn't 9 months.
@Totalanimefan: I'm actually pretty good today, a lot better than the rest of this week was. How's your day going?
//
I am disappearing for a few hours, I got something I need to do out in town.

@Anarchist Beauty: That makes sense. C: OTL I need to work on being more forward with people I click with. lol. I struggle. I am outgoing. But hesitate when it comes to long-term friends.
I'm glad I can type how I talk with you. c:
A few years ago, I had to change typing tactics because the way I typed my speech confused people. I even got teased once on one of these avi sites because of the terminology I use. I'm midwest, so I do a lot of "ya'know." or "ya'll" lol. "Humdinger" etc XDD lol... "giggle water." The list goes on.

@Purpsy: Sorry I disappeared. I had family stuff come up. e.e" This long week isn't ending. At least I got proper sleep last night, so I'm a little more clear-headed to deal with family stuff. <.<
That's wild! You're so unique! <3 Do you and your brother get along? I'm curious about the sibling dynamic. I grew up with identical twins down the road. We hung out all the time. They were opposite personalities but they were so close! I was the only one in our friend group that could easily tell them apart e.e. That always confused me.
@Totalanimefan: Good Morning from my state, it's still morning. C:
@Wildfire: I've lived in some areas in the U.S. where it was totally judgy if I got strict with my kiddos in public. oTL I don't miss those areas. I think the Judgiest place was a 1%er county. Where the rich lived and didn't have kids until their careers settled down. I ran into a lot of 40+ yr old parents who babied the crap out of their little ones. And because I spent a lot of my life in that town, I know what kind of kids they'll be when they hit their teens.
//shudders//
I miss that town, and also really dont.

@Wildfire: Good Morning, I haven't read back yet.
I'm in better health and mindset today. I got much better sleep.
I have a play date lined up with that homeschooling mom I talked about a few weeks ago.
I had a lot of financial panic attacks this week and amidst those panics, my husband convinced me to keep homeschooling the kids next year. He's comfortable with me at home- which wasn't the case a couple of years ago when my kids weren't old enough for school.
lol, It's wild how much people change/grow within a couple of years.
//
On the parenting topic; [ I read back ].
My mom tried wooden spoons to spank my brothers. But my eldest brother laughed when the spoon broke in half on his rear end. He was a pre-teen/teen. [I was too young to recall] BUT my Other brother talks about it all the time because that spoon breaking made a shift in the household and it was apparently scary [to him]. My mom found new ways to keep them in line. lol, I was so young in comparison that none of her "tough love" parenting affected me. My mom always talked about taking away the little VHS tv that my eldest would play PS1 on.
I definitely know quite a few parents that do spanking still. I remember a few years back, I looked up the rules on it. Something along the lines that you can't leave a mark or a handprint. It's frowned upon now in general.
omg, I'm comfortably strict with my kids[starting with this]. When I moved into my new town a couple of seasons ago, I scolded my kids in line at the grocery store, and I got red in the face from embarrassment because I don't know the local mentality on parenting. All these thoughts rushed through my head. 'What if someone in line is my neighbor and won't like me' 'Am I being looked at?' Etc.
Anyway, The older lady in front of me was grinning ear to ear. She saw I went red and said "You are so refreshing. You're so young and disciplining your kids on the spot. you just don't see that anymore."
@Purpsy: You have a twin Brother?! WHAT?! XD

@Purpsy: *hugs back* It's been fun getting to know people on avi sites again. I took a couple of years hiatus, it's been nice meeting new people and sharing stuff about myself. Voltra has a great community. :3
and I know the feeling, I rant often about things that make me hurt. <3
