@Wildfire: I'm at the end of being altitude sick. So my husband ordered a take-out feast for Easter, just for the 4 of us.
We have so much takeout, considering, while my husband's been gone- my energy has been gone too and I've been ordering food to the house for the last few days. lol.
@Wildfire: We had a surprisingly good Easter. The kids had fun, we ate well, and we were able to relax.
How bout you? c:
@Wildfire: Good Morning. <3 How are you today?
@Aisukohi: oh gosh, I feel you. My husband doesn't see his family nearly enough and there's been a lot of unfortunate things happening to his family lately and there's not anything my husband can do. It's been a few years now since we've been settled enough to travel and see them.
@Wildfire: Yeah, I'm happy I'm home. <3 I have a strong desire to just watch tv all day and rest. but kiddos need to do some school work. :d
How was your weekend/week?
@Wildfire: I consider myself lucky since I was able to go home within 24 hours of arriving. Every hour I was detained in security, I saw one person an hour get detained also. They pitched louder fits than I did. I stayed calm and reasonable, after4 hours of me being there and the kids looking disheveled, they realized I was very serious about not signing contracts and they needed to help me find a route home.
I still haven't had a mental breakdown, which I keep expecting to have.
@Wildfire: Hawaii has very tight rules for entry into the state. It's about the same level of strictness you'd expect visiting another county.
My whole family, myself included took the rapid test for covid the same day and we all traveled at different times to get to Hawaii. Due to my added night of travel- my rapid test 'expired' about 6-12 hours past their 72-hour cap. I asked the flight desk if I should stay on the mainland due to the 'expiration' she said she didn't deal with that- so I went to the gate with my tickets [who were supposed to 'deal with that'], they pushed the kids and me onto the plane and told me to 'fix it' once I arrived in Hawaii. Got to the Hawaii airport then I got detained. with the kids. =O //sigh//
I begged to go home because I refused to sign quarantine contracts. They told me to sign the quarantine contract or face jail time.
Anyhow, I'm home, I managed to get home. Thanks to only ONE security employee who took mercy on my exhausted soul.
The rest of my family is in Hawaii. I'm the only unlucky one that couldn't get into Hawaii with a negative covid test in hand.
@Wildfire: lol, your username surprised me, I see Voltra is having fun with April Fool's day. <3 Good Job on getting your deadline met. :D
I'm not much better. but I definitely feel a slow recovery on the horizon. The stress, lack of sleep, and overall experience won't be forgotten. I came home to a dog that was ready to chew through a door to get to the neighbor's dog in heat. So he's been keeping me on my toes since I've returned.
Now my daughter is sick as a dog. I think her immune system is in shock. We were around several hundred people in 3 days. Whereas, she hasn't been in a crowd in almost 2 years now.
I don't recommend altitude sickness. =3=" It's somewhat rare to get it from flights, so I'm finding this funny rather than tragic.
@Aisukohi: I think traveling with one kid would be more exhausting since my two entertain each other pretty well.
I think in total we were on planes for a little over 22 hours in 3 days. //sigh// We got to our vacation destination, got denied entry, and had to fly home. e.e" I'm glad my kids are still young enough to not understand what happened. They're disappointed about the lack of a vacation, but i've promised better things on the summer horizon.
@Aisukohi: I actually went to Vegas to see the new MeowWolf exhibit which was amazing. <3 I don't gamble.
I actually want to go back to Vegas to see more shows and exhibits. :>
I'm really exhausted from the bad situation I got in. I'm glad to be home. I had to do all that traveling with my two kids. e.e"
@Wildfire: lol, well, it was pointless to be jealous of my vacation. It went horribly and now I'm back home 2 weeks early. :0 I did get to do a night in Vegas, so that was something. <3 ... but yeah, Hawaii trip was a bunk. I got 20 hours of plane rides in 3 days and now I'm quite sick from altitude sickness. :T
@Wildfire: My daughter's birthday went pretty darn well. She's a pretty social kid, so she always gets a bit depressed every year on her birthday. She wants parties and friends and stuff.
We went to a local toy store that was comfortably busy and she got that social feeling out of her system while we were there. <3
Now I'm stressed as heck while my new roommates move in tonight just as my family begins vacation tomorrow. e.e'
How are you doing?
@Wildfire: I love your avatar today. <3
@Wildfire: That's a definite way to give a parent a heart attack. I hope you're feeling better today.
My sister wrecked earlier this year and she's dealing with TMJ and some neck soreness still. but otherwise healthy. She's much older than me though.

I'm poofing once again. It's my daughter's birthday and we're driving into the city for some toy shopping n whatnot.
