@Wildfire: your youngest son sounds like my older brother. He was a hands-on kinda guy, didn't do well in reading and comprehension. but he's a determined and stubborn guy. Super nice person. but he had his 'after graduation' wild-spree. He moved across the country for a year and came home to crash from that. <3 I love my brothers. I only got 2 out of my 9 siblings. XD

@Wildfire: That is definitely the smartest way to go during our lovely pandemic. I got a couple of family members that went back home and dropped paying rent when covid hit. Your youngest sounds like a puppy that just got let off a leash and is exploring everything. lol. [I do mean this in a funny/good way]
I just remember we paid hundreds of dollars on a dog trainer on my first husky [our oldest and best husky], and anytime he got off-leash, he was GONE and refused to listen.

I won't refuse another helpful recipe. C:

@Wildfire: Awe! I like your use of 'threatened' lol! I think that's how my mom feels about my visits too. Usually, I'm hauling kids and dogs around with me though.
Does your eldest son still live at home?

@Wildfire: I'm actually quite worried about my husband staying home. He's one of the few people who skimmed by the last 2 weeks while his workplace was a ghost-town due to all the covid cases. He very well could be sick, but I won't know until he wakes up. He was out having a week's vacation in Hawaii while his workplace got hit with covid. This week, most of the folks that were home on quarantine have been trickling back to work.
My womanly Shark week appeared last night, so I feel like crap regardless. lol.

Spinach and beet salad sounds like something my husband would love. :p

@Wildfire: How's your day going? anything good planned?

@Wildfire: For the most part, I'll spend today relaxing, getting kids done with school, and reading. Unfortunately, my husband stayed from work. I think it's a stress-induced exhaustion. But he'll have to do a covid test before returning to work now. :c

I disappeared last night. I went off and had some 'me-time'.
I wish I felt refreshed this morning, but I do not.

@Purpsy: Oh man! I hope you did laundry that day! lol Looks good though. :3 practice, practice, practice. :D
I should probably practice more often to make my handwriting more legible.

@Wildfire: social media is really messy. :c unfortunately, I have tried and failed to break habits of auto-checking it. FB in particular is super annoying.
My kids are starting to learn my handwriting since they're learning [and getting better] at reading. lol, so I've been practicing old cursive for my lists that I don't want the kids to read.
Now that I recall, I didn't learn cursive in school. I was ahead in reading and writing, so I got bored and my mom and grandmas wrote me letters for me to read and reply to. <3
Gosh! My grandmas both have beautiful cursive. *o*
I went outside to tear up a garden spot, but the kids followed me out and stopped doing school. So I need to hang nearby while they do schoolwork. =0

@Wildfire: I've always prefered avi forum sites over social media.<3 Voltra is so comfy too, and I've found people I enjoy talking to during my coffee hours. :p

I only write in cursive, my print is horrible. e.e" I can make it look neat and beautiful, old style. But, I do a mix of print and cursive- so most can read my handwriting. =O
I didn't really realize schools opted out of teaching the kids cursive. My niece is 14 and lived with me and she couldn't read my handwriting, then she began trying to copy it... and I told her she shouldn't copy my cursive since it's a hybrid.

@Wildfire: you are a super encouraging person to talk to while we transition our diet. <3 So thank you for continuing to share your recipes. :D
I'm cranky this morning. lol. woke up too early. When I'm not on voltra, my muscle memory gets me on social medias, which feels like brain cells dying.
I might take a break and go outside, I found a spot yesterday where I can put my zucchini starters. :} I just need to manually rip up all the overgrown brush.

@Wildfire: The recipe is actually quite similar to one I make often. I basically make a simpler version. Which I've been craving. So I'll give this recipe a try soon. :p

I haven't answered those daily questions yet either. I like the fourth item (so far) best, just because the posing is refreshing. It's something different.

@Purpsy: I think the only reason I was noticed was that my dang brother left such a loud mark in the schools.
I had one science teacher who, at the end of the school year, apologized to me for treating me horrible, having assumed I'd be a butt-munch like my older brother. XD
My brother must've been Awful, I was 4 grades behind him.
