@Wildfire: I woke up too early. My son crawled in with me. Then the dogs decided they needed to go out. Then I had to run down my acre lot because my ding dong youngest doggo was trying to leave the yard. I'm thinking there was a dog on the other side of the fence. [it's not much of a fence. lol]

If I got arrested what would my family and friends assume? I'm pretty country, so I guess they'd probably assume someone tried to break into my house and I defended it. cx

@Wildfire: I just went at war with the ants that found their way into my house. XD
I got no clue where they're comin' in from. =3= They Almost got to the kitchen. I found a few stray ants makin their way to the kitchen. lol. They met the vacume.
I'm tired today. I just wanna nap but cannot.

@Wildfire: I feel you on the doggos. My dogs do the same. Anytime I get up out of my computer corner and move towards the hallway, they bolt past me to the door. Then get severely disappointed because I'm not taking them outside.
When I do take them outside, I try and hang out outside with them for roughly 30 minutes at a time.

I disappeared to be productive. I also found ants, so I'm going to need to do some serious cleaning today.

@Wildfire:
Of Time and Truth I haven't finished reading it. I keep jumping around on the chapters out of curiosity. But now I'm reading it one page at a time.
This feels like it's written by my husband, as he's an intelligent type that goes on philosophical rants that are interesting. He absorbs knowledge the way I'm addicted to candy. lol.
@Fading Kings: That sounds like a fun way to get sunburnt. I'm almost jealous. I'm glad your legs got spared, as that would suck trying to sit down or lay down to relax.

@Wildfire: I keep getting sucked into this book. It's a philosophy book of how the book writer would hope a college student would think and utilize their brain for knowledge. The preface alone goes over the importance of speaking for yourself rather than 'purple patches' aka trends. The author takes famous novels and takes important bits and incorporates them into the chapters. I don't think I've ever found a book quite like this one before. c:
It's really different than what I thought it would be. I thought I was buying a college handbook from 1946. but nope. It is a philosophy book of how the brain should operate if you're seeking higher knowledge.

@Purpsy: Did you like the newest event item?
Posted in ┤▒├ Wild Sweet Treats Posted 4 years ago
@Purpsy: I resorted to guessing the last two. Just clicking everything randomly. lol. Pre-Coffee me did not enjoy riddles in the morning.
The item is cute though. c:

@Vixen: Sounds similar to what I'm doing. I got my coffee, music going and I'm contemplating a tattoo design I was commissioned. :d

@Fading Kings: Oh man. Sunburns suck. Gotta drink lots of water and I hope you have Aloe. <3
I got sunburned a couple of weeks ago. lol. I have a beautifully terrible tan line on my neck. XD

@Vixen: Hello~ How are you today? c:
Posted in ┤▒├ Wild Sweet Treats Posted 4 years ago
@Wildfire: And this is why I love our morning coffee talks. You get it. <3 The stories I've heard of her kids are bad. But I've only heard amazing stories of her.

I'm on my second cup of coffee now. :3

unrelated note:
I found a 'prep for college' book from 1946, I've been reading it this weekend. It's amazing. Such a weird find from a thrift store. I'm in love with this book right now.

I love all of her hobbies. <3 So I wouldn't be sad if she was serious. However, She has a lot of everything. and she invests a fortune in it all. She had 2 sewing machines set up, surrounded by piles of fabric. The sewing machines were a minimum of 4 grand each. o_o"

Tim Hortons is leaking down the border. lol. While I was in Michigan they opened 2 in the lower part of the state. And I heard of one in North Dakota. So I think they're making their way down. The U.S. is saturated in coffee shops.

@Wildfire: I feel that completely! Her authentic personality is amazing. But I do see why she is the way she is. She spent her youth in a career and did a botchy job of raising her kids. I've heard horror stories of her sons. And her 40 yr old son was living with them and he was horrible to her. As a parent, I mean mugged the sh-- out of him for his absolute disrespect to his mother. //shutters//
I see why she'd want someone out of her household to inherit her hobbies. He probably sees her tools as a profit when she passes.

I miss Tim Hortons! donuts and coffee! <3 There's none around here and the only time I've seen them is when I lived in Northern Michigan.

@Wildfire:
lol! well, If I feel brave enough next time, I'll take pics of the sections of her hobbies. I appreciate art quite a bit. I've dabbled in all over her hobbies at some point and time in my life. It's wild to meet someone who does it all and consistently. [and can afford it all]
What scares me is that I think she was 100% serious when she said she wanted me to have it all when she passes. =0
I went into her garage [which is sectioned off; Half is a legal area for her to breed Pomeranians [little furballs were following us everywhere in the house] and the other half of the garage was her beads and gourds. Then along one wall were bins and bins and bins of fabric.
Man, I'm glad I insisted on meeting her.
What an interesting human being. I found my new favorite old person. XD

The newest event story thing was posted yesterday evening sometime. It's not too difficult, but like wildfire said, your not really sure what's clickable for the riddle questions. You kind of have to guess a bit.
Oh my gosh, This old gal went headstrong into art. She sews, paints, oils, acrylic, chalk, goards, beads, weaves, the list goes on. And her house is sectioned off into different areas for each hobbies. I've never seen anything like her place before.
The scariest part is when I walked in, showed interest in her hobbies, she looks me dead in the eye and said "OH GOOD. when I'm gone I finally found someone to inherit all my crap. My kids don't appreciate art. Your family."

-runs off to get a cup of coffee from the pot- yaaaaay. I need caffiene.

Oh I just did the riddle story for the event. I was not in the mindset either. I just kept guessing. The first 2 I did with ease, the last 2 not so much.
Turns out we live really close to my husband's great aunt. So I demanded we go visit her yesterday, as I've heard 10 years of family stories from my husband and have never met the old generation on his side.
Yesterday, the old gal kept me entertained with stories and all her different hobbies at her house. She's amazing. I'll be spending a lot of time with her in the near future.
I wish I could just make a full pot of coffee and share it with you two in the mornings. <33
