@AelloTyphoeus: Not too bad, kinda wish I could turn back the clock as I just realised I only have a few more hours until I have to work, and I've spent all morning online. xD Darn internet keeps taking over my life! Trying to make a few more posts real quick so I can finish my event item collection.

How've you been? ^-^

You're on a quest, I need volts. Seems like the foundation for a good arrangement. xD

@Bean: Totally irrelevant but, with that crown and those horns, your avi reminds me of Hellboy. xD

@Mica: Yeah, it's an extra 18 items at 150 each which adds up to a whopping 2,700 volts, on top of the 1,500 volts it takes to get all the base event items. q-q For a mini-event, a gross value of 4,200 is a lot. Not necessarily complaining, though, because some of them are really nice items that I can definitely see myself using down the road. Not only that but it seems like posts net an average of 50 volts, which comes to about 85 posts to make up all the currency. Some people do that several times over every day without even blinking,
but I'm more of a lurker, and post in a handful of threads at a time. c':

@Mica: I know, right? xD It's the darn event item recolours! Everyone's draining their volts in a scramble to collect them all before the deadline, which I think is tonight. c': I liked the idea of the different recolours, but I do agree with what someone said about how they're a tad on the expensive side for such a new site. I like how they were at least half price though. I think 50 - 75 volts each could have been more manageable.

@Mica: I really appreciate your offer, but I'm in need of volts right now so I'm afraid I have to decline. :C I've also decided to hold onto the crate for a while longer. I'm really sorry, but I will definitely stop by when I have some currency for art! ^-^

@UtterlyWeird: Oh my gosh, hii! It's so nice to see you came to check out Voltra!! Welcome to the party!! ^-^ (I'm Praedyth from Zantarni!) Things definitely work a bit different from Zan, here, but I'm sure you'll find your way around. ^-^

No, I am not pregnant. xD And I know I'm not because this has been going on for a few years now (which, by the way, is really hard to believe because it doesn't feel that long?) but anyway...

Whenever I'm really super hungry, rather than get stomach rumbles or anything, my stomach will just kind of burn and I end up feeling really nauseated. It typically happens early in the morning, anytime between 4 AM to when I get up around 7, but can happen any time when I haven't eaten in a while and need some food; thankfully, it usually only lasts up to 5 minutes at a time and then goes away. The thing that really sucks is that it'll take my appetite away, so while I'll be quite literally starving and NEED to get something in my stomach, food has absolutely zero appeal. q-q I had a bout with anorexia before this problem began, too, so I suspect the two are related (also, please don't starve yourself ♥).

Does anybody else have this problem? If so, did you ever find a cause / solution / explanation? Eventually, I'll go to a doctor and talk to them about it, but... I can't afford to go to the doctor because I actually work for a living. c':

@Addy: Yeah I haven't done a raid yet but I know about the chests and such. DUDE I would be LIVID if everyone else got exotic gear and I didn't! >:C That sounds frustrating as all heck! Not quite sure if it's angry-email-to-Bungie worthy, but, it's a little late in the game for bugs like that. xD

Is there a chance your internet hiccuped? o:
Posted in I need to write this out before I explode... Posted 7 years ago
@Addy: It's Upwork! I finally just looked it up and lo and behold, Upwork was the first result. c': It's just like Freelancer but I think more catered towards art / graphic design.

@Sasha: It's good you have a decent job to help get you started ^-^ and it's great to see that you're really excited! A couple more sites to maybe look into (when you have the time!) are Upwork and Fiverr. You may be able to find small jobs or at least a springboard into the right direction from Upwork, and Fiverr is a place where people buy and sell services for $5. c: Not enough to break the bank, but it can help to fill in the cracks and every little bit counts!

@Anarchist Beauty: Cool beans! ^-^ I don't blame you, since, well, they're freebies. xD But figured I'd ask. ~ Thank you!

@SnakeWeaver: Indeed, I'm quite thankful as well! It can be deadly hot in the summer but you've just got to be smart to cope. I grew up in an area where tornadoes were fairly common and was always very scared of them but thankfully never experienced one.

We are pretty close to the largest Air Force Base in the USA, though, so if someone were to decide to drop a bomb, we'd be screwed. xD

YESSS The Geeky Chef! I need to pick up a copy, because honestly, making either fandom/themed or period recipes is one of my favourite methods of cooking. Eating something akin to what they ate during the Renaissance, for instance, lets you get a little more in-tune with what life was like back then. c':

And the Sweet Rolls in Skyrim always look freaking delicious but they're also GIGANTIC.

Thankfully, no. Sometimes wildfires or flash floods can threaten the area wherein we live, but thankfully it's not very common; and this year particularly, the monsoon season felt pretty tame and short. There was one day where some roads were closed, and there were a few days when some roads further towards town were closed, but it only really happened once, it seems.

My heart goes out to everyone having to deal with the wildfires and tropical storms that are absolutely pummeling the US from each side. Poor Puerto Rico has been more or less wiped off the map. :C
