Tyson's eyes widened a little when he saw this, and he bit his lip.

".....ohhhhhhh dear." he mumbled.

He then turned and went to tell this to Hal.

Sure enough, about 7 or 8 minutes later, Hal stepped into the medical wing, asking about Mira. He was led to where she was, and sighed when he saw her.

"All right." he said.

"Give me the details." he told her.

Both Ty and the medic were silent for a moment, almost stunned at what they heard, before the medic broke the silence quickly.

"Ah, yes." he said.

"This way, please." he told her, before looking at Ty.

"Anything you need, Agent King?" he asked.

"Ah, no." Ty responded.

"...MIra..." he then addressed the female.

"Odds are you're going to tell Sharp this, yourself, but... just for my own clarification, before I leave... are you saying that you were attacked by... Ilias?" he asked her, disbelief in his tone.

It wasn't so much that he thought she was lying, but the thought of Ilias doing such a thing WAS a bit farfetched.

Not gonna lie, felt a bit like Kira Yoshikage during the date...

Ty was silent as he carried her, as she made her request, but nodded.

"Yeah, sure." he replied.

"I'll tell him after I drop you off." he told her.

The rest of the journey went unhindered, and they entered the medical wing, where one of the staff greeted them.

"Ah, hello Agent King, Agent Greyson." he greeted them.

"What seems to be the issue that's brought you here?" he asked, as Ty gently set Mira down, allowing her to use him for balance.

The intern was stunned at what he heard... and was confused.

"I... uh..." he stammered.

"........what...?" he wondered aloud, before shaking his head and getting back to what he was doing. The last thing he needed was to be reprimanded again for falling behind in his duties. Again.

Mira continued to make her way to the med wing, and was about 2/3rds of the way there, before she ran into Ty.

"....you're limping, and injured." he surmised.

"Want help getting the rest of the way there?" he offered.

As she walked, she came across one of the interns that were working there. He was cleaning up dirty beakers and test tubes and such, and noticed Mira... and how she looked... not so good.

"Agent Greyson?" he addressed her.

"...are you all right?" he asked.

"You look like something's bothering you." he went on.

"And... are you limping?" he asked further.

It seemed that Ilias was a bit delayed with his reactions. Whether that was because he was battling himself internally, being a lab tech wasn't a very physically demanding job, or both, it didn't matter.

He didn't have enough time to stop her.

However, his snakes all managed to bite down on the arm connected to the hand holding the blade.

Not that it did anything, though, as the hilt smashed down onto his head, causing him to freeze for a moment.

The snakes all simultaneously let go of her arm, and he collapsed to the floor, unconscious and still.

As she sat, she heard noises around. However, a light hissing could be heard around her as well... and THAT was what she was concentrating on. Though that was hard to do with the spreading numbness that she felt in her arm.

After about 3 minutes (though it seemed longer), she saw Ilias pop out from behind one of the stations, something in his hands.

He then threw it at her.

It was one of the smaller, failed designs of a dagger she had worked on.

But it was still a dagger, and getting hit by it would be bad news.

Ilias responded with yet another animalistic noise, as he got close again, and his snakes snapped at her, though she managed to avoid them as well. It seemed that she was JUST quick enough to stay out of his range.

"Changed!?" he exclaimed.

"Nothing!" he yelled.

"I am what I am! I'm done hiding it!" he told her.

"I'm a gorgon!... No, not even THAT!" he went on.

"I'm just a monster! An in-between species MONSTER!" he exclaimed further.

However, at the end of that exclamation, Mira swore she saw a flash of the old Ilias in his eyes... and he seemed to be pleading for help... before he disappeared again, and the Ilias before her let out a menacing hiss.

Ilias just let out another noise, and stared at her.

His snakes were a little more wild now, extending further out from his hair and writhing about.

He looked... like an actual medusa now, almost.

It was unlike anything she had ever seen from him before.

"What's gotten into me?" he asked.

"Nothing." he said.

"I'm just a monster!"

Ilias didn't say anything to her at first, but he whirled his head towards her, his eyes far more serpentine than normal.

He let out a... guttural utterance... and all of his snakes emerged from his hair, hissing loudly.

They all snapped at her, but one even lunged for her.

...and snapped its jaws into her arm.

As soon as it did, Mira could FEEL the venom enter her bloodstream.

And she knew what THAT meant.

"All right." Ilias responded.

With that, he made his way to the computer, and started to look it up... before suddenl\y pausing.

He grunted audibly and clutched at the side of his head, like he was in pain.

"Ergh!" he groaned, shaking his head again.

But it seemed to do nothing.

"No... no..." he said to himself, beads of sweat dripping from his face.

"Another design?" Ilias asked, quirking an eyebrow.

"I admit, you've piqued my curiosity..." he said.

"Sure." he told her. "Let's take a look." he continued.

"I AM interested." he went on, before the last thing she said clicked.

"...and 'not quite my flavour'...?" he then asked.

"Okaaaaay, my interest is THAT much greater, admittedly." he chuckled.

"Lemme see." he finished with a small smile, though he felt extremely nervous right now for some weird reason.

Ilias looked at the machine, and sighed.

"That's fair." he said.

"Understandable, as well. These things happen." he continued, before sighing.

"...." he was then silent, before shaking his head again.

"Any idea how long it'll be?" he asked.

"Which is to say, do you have a ballpark estimate, given these delays?" he then clarified.
