"Good, I guess." Emerald replied.

"And yes, it is." he said.

"I don't want to be here right now." he told her.

"But I have nowhere else. I'm alone on this world." he continued.

But before Aly could say anything, someone shoved past her.

"Outta the way!" they barked.

"If you're gonna stand around and be useless, do it elsewhere!"

"....no." Emerald responded.

"No clue." he said.

"It's frightening." he told her.

"Very scary." he went on.

"Makes me wish I was back home. Away from here." he said further.

"This is too scary." he said further, fear in his tone.

As she walked, she heard arguments.

Fights.

People at each others throats.

Lonely people lamenting it.

It seemed everyone was breaking down and falling apart.

When she got to the media department, she found that people there were in bad spirits, and she found Emerald there, checking something on a computer.

She guessed it was because he was doing more research about their world that he found himself in.

Levi was silent for a moment.

"If you want." he said.

"Just... hurts." he muttered.

It was bad enough that it would be best for her to leave.

"Sorry." he apologised.

"I need to go." he said, quickly leaving the room.

Levi looked to what she was putting out, and licked his lips... before pausing.

And growing silent.

He then took a step back, and grasped at his head.

"Agh." he grunted.

"Damn it." he cursed.

"Ah, crap... sudden headache..." he muttered further, before collapsing into a chair.

Unfortunately, this usually meant one thing when it came to Levi.

They were reaching out to him.

SWEET! was what she got in response.

About a minute later, she heard his footsteps come down the stairs.

And they sounded excited.

Which matched his expression when he showed up.

"Smells good!" he said.

"I'm famished!"

She heard silence for a moment, before there was a response.

"Sweet!" Levi called back.

"Be down in a minute!" he called further.

After another second, she received a text.

What'd ya snag? it read.

I'm famished. the second one told her.

At first, everything in Ty's mind was screaming at him to stop this.

But then something else entered the front of his mind.

'Everyone else gets this. Why do THEY deserve it, and you don't?' it asked.

'She wants this. You want this. You deserve it.' it said further.

'You've been lonely for too long. You've watched others have this for long enough. Now it's YOUR turn.' it then added.

That's when Ty gave in.

He allowed this to happen.

Ty was silent for a moment, wondering if he had gotten through to her.

But he could see the conflict inside.

"...kid..." he said further.

"You can do this." he told her.

"Just think about it. Don't just... do it, okay?" he asked her.

Ty was stunned at what was happening. To the point where he was almost frozen in surprise and shock. However, he managed to snap himself to reality, and found his voice.

"Kid! Miki!" he exclaimed.

"What are you doing!?" he asked her.

"What's going on with you!?" he asked further.

'And why are her eyes different!?' he wondered mentally.

Ty didn't have any time to react, as Miki lunged for him, and tackled him.

However, if he'd been expecting an attack, he would be wrong.

She was just slightly pinning him to the floor, but was more straddling his waist.

"Uh... uh, kid?" he asked.

"Miki, what... what are you doing?" he asked her.

'I mean, so far I have no... objections, but... hm.' he then thought.

"What's... your plan now?"

Ty was gone for about 30 minutes, returning with several different flavours of ice cream.

"Hope one of these will do the trick." he said.

He then sighed and knocked on the door, before entering.

"Kid, I'm back!" he called into the place.

"Brought several different kinds, just in case!" he said further, making his way to the kitchen.

...and he saw Miki sitting on the floor.

"Hey... hey, you all right, Miki?" he asked.

"...you look... a bit on the hot side..." he commented further.

"Ice cream?" Ty asked.

"Yeah, sure kid..." he said, making his way to the door.

"What kind?" he asked her.

"You said you have a sweet tooth, but that's a bit vague." he said further.

"What are we talking here? Chocolate? Something else? Something simple, something complex?" he asked her further.

"A little narrowing would help."

"Eh?" Ty mumbled.

"I mean, I DO have another day here." he told her.

"But... if I'm causing something to trigger inside you, I'd rather not put you through that, kid." he went on.

"....." he was then silent, before sighing.

"I really do want to stay for that day, though." he admitted.

"I like bein' around you. More than you think."
