"......" Zeke was silent for a moment, before shaking his head.

"Ah, right." he said.

"5711." he told her.

"...wait..." he then mumbled, checking his pockets.

"My phone." he said.

"When did you...?" he muttered, scratching his head a little.

He was clearly a bit confused as to when she got it... but that was likely because he was distracted by... things...

"I..." Zeke stammered.

"Uh..." he mumbled further, starting to sweat a little.

He swallowed hard, before forcing a smile.

"Uh... s-sure." he managed to get out. "I admit, your... your offer is intriguing..." he said to her.

"But... I... I should... probably tell Angela that I'll be leaving briefly." he then reasoned.

"You know, just so she doesn't worry or anything." he added, trying his best not to continue to take glances at what was below Roxie's face.

...and failing.

"....." Zeke was silent for a moment, and sighed.

"Oh, just... bit of a bruise on my chest." he said.

"...actually, more around the ribcage area..." he admitted.

"I ran afoul of a Crusher-Bear while looking for info about my Aunt..." he then fully admitted, the animal in question having enough muscle to turn a human's bones to dust with only one charge, as it loved to do to its prey. The fact that he survived at all was a testament to how tough it was, let alone escaping with just a bruise.

"...and... yeah, you have a point." he then sighed, finding himself looking at her cleavage every so often.

....and liking what he was seeing.

Zeke just chuckled sheepishly.

"I am." he said.

"But I still have things I need to stop by here and get done." he told her.

"Relay info to Agent Sharp and such." he went on.

"I also visited the med wing to get something checked out." he then said further.

"Stopped by here to get lunch for myself and Angela."

A few seconds after he passed her, Zeke paused.

He stood there for a moment, silent, but started to pull at the collar of his shirt.

He was suddenly feeling... hot.

In more ways than one, if he was being honest with himself.

".....uh..." he stammered.

"Hm." he mumbled further, before looking around, seeing the woman in question.

"Oh, uh... hey Roxie." he greeted her.

"How... how are ya?" he asked.

As she casually looked towards the entrance of the cafeteria, she saw people coming and going... until ONE individual stood out for her.

Intensely.

She noticed that he was taller than the others... he was more handsome than the others... his build stood out among the rest, his clothing seemingly outlining and hugging each muscle he had.

There was an issue, though.

It was Zeke.

But he seemed to radiate virility and fertility right now.

And he was ringing EVERY bell in her body.

"Yes." Lex said. "Thank you." he echoed.

"Hey, we're family." Vincent smiled.

"And it's the right thing to do." he added.

"For now, let's concentrate on making sure YOU are both all right." he suggested. "ESPECIALLY you, Alexandre." he said to Lex.

"I have snacks and hot water here, and Rocky has some of her 'Golden Serenity' blend for you." he went on.

"If nothing else, it should help you remain calm." he added.

"Okay." Lex responded.

Vincent nodded.

"Of course." he responded.

"I'll tell them both immediately." he told her.

"Though, if it was Ash that started this chain of information, they may know already." he continued.

"...oh?" Lex asked.

"Seeing as they both work at Candentus Lux, he'll have told Dani, and if Sydney was there, she might have heard it, or he might have told her. And if Sydney knows, she might have communicated that to Hollie... if Dani doesn't do so, herself." he went on.

"But I'll communicate with them anyway, just to make sure."

Vincent was stunned for a moment.

"I... that..." he stammered.

"I never thought... such a thing could happen." he admitted.

"Same." Lex said bluntly.

"Well, then we'll do all we can to find her." Vincent assured them.

"Yes, she's a demon, but that doesn't mean anything. She's proven herself to be a good person, and she doesn't deserve to just be left at the wayside." he continued.

"I know." Lex replied.

"......hm." Lex mumbled.

"I hope you're right." he said.

"I really do..." he said further.

"What?" Vincent asked. "What's going on?" he asked them.

"......" Lex was silent, before looking at him.

"Lilim's.... gone." he responded.

"I'm sorry? Gone?" Vincent asked in response, his expression one of sheer shock.

Vincent just smiled back at her.

"Allo, Aimee." he responded.

"Allo, Alexandre." he greeted Lex.

"....hey." Lex replied quietly.

"....." Vincent was then silent, before stepping out of the way.

"Please, come in." he offered.

"You know where the den is."

Vincent watched her go, before sighing and smiling lightly.

"Of course." he said.

"I shouldn't be surprised." he told himself.

He then thought for a moment, before starting to get other things together. He wasn't sure if they would be hungry, or want to eat, but he would put together some small things to munch on if they so desired.

If nothing else, he would be a good host.

But he couldn't help but wonder what was going on.

What had happened?

Vincent looked over towards Rocky, and sighed.

"Aimee and Alexandre are stopping by very soon. As in, ASAP." he told her.

"And it seems that Alexandre is... not having a good time right now, for some reason." he continued. "Aimee told me he's 'stressed, worried and not in the best of shapes', to quote her." he went on.

"She suggested some tea be made up for when they get here, and I can agree with that." he informed her.

"So I'm looking for that 'Golden Serenity' blend you make." he said further.

"I can't seem to find any, though." he lamented.

"Are we out?" he asked.

Lex shook his head.

"No." he replied.

"I don't." he said.

"I just want to... I don't know... find Lilim..." he mumbled further.

Vincent, meanwhile, pocketed his own phone, and made his way to the kitchen, looking through the shelves.

"RACQUEL!?" he called out.

"Are you home!?"
