"Or Azazel." he then said.

"All of them seem to have a more direct line to the ones in charge." he told her.

"So take your pick." he continued.

"Have a preference?"

"A few." Hal replied.

"You already dealt with Roxanna?" he asked.

"I did." Erica replied.

"Then Ashley Fyrane is another you'll need to deal with." Hal told her.

"And... well..." he then stammered.

'The Archangel Uriel." he added.

"......." Ilias was silent, before nodding.

"Okay." he replied.

"I understand." he told her.

Hal sighed as he sat in his office, and Erica entered.

"Ah, hello." he greeted her.

"You're looking... a bit worse for the wear." he commented.

"How are things going?" he asked.

"........" Ilias was silent for a moment, before sighing.

"All right." he said.

"I... I concede your point." he told her.

"Right." he mumbled.

"I should... probably still leave, though." he reasoned.

"Odds are Peyton won't be happy to see me here without knowing what's going on..."

"....no." Ilias replied after a pause.

"No. I'm not." he said.

"I've done something unforgivable." he told her.

"You almost died because of me." he went on.

"You and Peyton deserve to hate me because of this."

Ilias didn't move from his position.

"You were bitten by one snake." he said.

"And my anti-venom is stronger than a single snake's venom." he went on.

"Give it an hour and you'll have full feeling back." he told her further.

"And another hour for the residual stiffness to go away." he added.

"....." he was then silent for another moment.

"You... should probably go see Peyton." he told her.

Ilias was silent, before falling to his hands and knees... almost laying himself flat on the floor.

"I'm sorry!" he exclaimed.

"I don't know why I did what I did!" he insisted.

"It just happened! I don't know why!" he went on, sounding ready to break down into tears.

"I tried to hard to fight it back, but it just kept saying I was a monster. Eventually, I believed it." he continued.

"I'm sorry. To both you AND Peyton." he went on.

".....I'm sorry...." he then repeated, this time more quietly, and a bit of a quiver to his voice.

Ilias said nothing, and rushed over.

He quickly got behind her, and sunk his fangs into her shoulder, much like he had with Erica.

And sure enough, Mira felt the spreading petrification stop, and recede.

Though it was a bit slower, as her case was much more advanced.

However, it was clear that Ilias was helping her, and she started to feel feelings again in her shoulders, spreading down her arms.

Peyton had been spending all her time there, but right now she was being forced to take a break and at least get a drink.

Mira then heard some commotion outside, and swore she heard some fighting, before the door burst open.

Revealing Ilias.

"...ah!" he exclaimed.

"Mira!" he yelled.

Ilias' walk turned into a run, and he disappeared down the hallway.

"....right." Ty muttered.

"Yeah, he seems normal again." he admitted.

"There anything I can do to help?" he then asked her.

"Anything anyone can do to help?" the other man there asked further.

"....." he was silent for a moment.

"Sorry." he apologised.

"And... and no." he said.

"I don't..." he started to say, before freezing.

"MIRA!" he yelled.

"I have to get to the med wing!" he said, before trying to run off... and tripping over himself.

"Ah..." Ilias muttered, before seeing what was happening to Erica.

"NO!" he exclaimed.

Then, before she could say anything, he opened his own mouth and bit her shoulder, his own set of 'fangs' piercing into her.

She felt pain, yes, but she also felt the rapidly spreading petrification stop... and recede.

As soon as she did this, all his snakes bit her.

And bit her hard.

And since all of them sank their fangs into her, 7 times as much of their venom went into her, as opposed to the one that had gotten Mira.

However, after a second or two, they all let go, as Ilias groaned and mumbled some unintelligible noises.

It seemed he was waking up.

Couldn't really move, though.

"...sure." Ty replied.

"Just be careful." he said.

"He's still bound, but who knows what can happen." he muttered.

He then used a special key that Mira had given him, and unlocked the door.

"Go on." he told her.
