"....I see." Uriel responded.

"So that damned elf is involved." he growled.

"Well, whatever." he then said.

"Whatever you need to do, please." he continued.

"Whatever technicalities need to be exploited." he went on.

"This is something that needs to be done, I'm sure you agree." he said further.

"...who would gain this ability, anyway?" he then asked.

Uriel looked up at Sariel, the one that spoke, and was about to answer, before the one they had been talking about made her presence known.

The angels all bowed their heads in reverence for a moment, and then Uriel spoke.

"The weather conditions need to be set up to rain for over a week." he told her.

"Worldwide." he went on.

"I have a solution that, if seeded in the clouds, will wash away... whatever is on the populace." he told her further.

"It's the only chance the world has."

Hal just sighed.

"Hope this works." he said.

"REALLY hope so..." he repeated, shaking his head slightly.

Meanwhile, up above the clouds, Uriel arrived to find all of his 'siblings' gathered in one area.

"We know what's going on." Raphael said to him.

"Good. Saves time." Uriel replied.

"Just need to get the boss on board."

Hal just sighed.

"Right." he said.

He then dug through a drawer, and handed her a light blue key card.

"That'll get you in the room." he told her.

He then grabbed what looked to be a small glass marble, and held it in his hand, some of his mana seeping into it.

"Here." he said further, handing it to her.

"When asked to verify your identity, hold this marble in front of the sensor."

After a moment of silence, she heard the door lock click.

"Enter quickly!" she heard.

When she did, she saw Hal sitting in his chair.

"You need a physical key to get into the system room." he told her.

"You also need a sample of mana from one of the few people allowed in there. It's to ensure that it's never compromised." he went on.

"However, I can give you the key, as well as a small sample of my own mana, which will allow you to get in." he then said further.

"...why do you need access, anyway?" he asked her.

"Please tell me it has to do with solving the chaos in this building."

Uriel watched Kiah head off, before grabbing the sizeable amount of what was left, and disappearing from where he was, along with it.

"...." Cain was silent, and sighed.

"I hope this works." he said.

"This... I think this is the only hope the world has." he commented further.

"But... there's still a very large question. Or, rather, two." he then said.

"HOW did this happen? And WHY?"

"She has a point." Zeke said to Kiah.

Uriel, meanwhile, just sighed.

"Very well." he said.

"I am going to bring this up to my brothers and distribute it." he told them.

"So... is it going to be 40 days and nights of rain?" Cain asked.

"Hardly." Uriel responded, rolling his eyes.

"THAT was a bit extreme." he said.

"This'll be... a little under a week. 9 days at most." he told them. "And it won't be a massive downpour, either. We'll make sure no flooding happens because of this." he then assured them further.

"Essentially, do enough to solve the problem, but make it arguable as to the reason it happened in the first place?" Ilias asked.

"Precisely." Uriel responded.

"If you do things right, people won't be sure if you did anything." he finished. "Well... in the God business, anyway." he then clarified.

Uriel nodded in response.

"You do that." he said.

"I'd get in contact with the boss to help me get this stuff upwards, but... well, I know her." he said further.

"Odds are she knows." he continued.

"And odds are she'll be here momentarily." he told them further.

"...or she'll wait JUST long enough that it seems like she's NOT, and when I'm looking like a fool and going to take this skyward myself, THEN she'll show up." he then mumbled.

"Indeed." Cain responded.

"Anyway, let's get to work." he told them.

And sure enough, they did. Erica's mana was drained to the point where she was lightheaded and passed out, but she was taken to where she could rest. Uriel's mana was taken as well, but he was able to take it without even flinching.

After some time and work, they made quite a bit of it, and it was ready to go.

".....all right." Uriel said.

"I'm going to enlist some help." he told them.

"We need to get this spread out around the world."

Uriel nodded.

"My brothers and I can seed the clouds with the mixture, and I'm sure the one in charge will make it rain worldwide." he said.

"But people might think it's an omen." Cain muttered.

"Perhaps." Zeke replied.

"However, without any damage done to the environment, it COULD also be misconstrued as a weather anomaly." he commented.

"After all, strange things HAVE happened in the past." he reasoned.

Uriel just shook his head.

"Right." he said.

"Let's get to work." Cain told them.

"We need to make as much of this as possible and... find a way to... distribute it... worldwide." he said further, trailing off near the end of it.

"That sounds... preposterous, now that I say it out loud..." he mumbled.

"I might be able to help." Uriel said.

"I think I know of a way to distribute it all over the globe, at the same time." he continued.

"Problem is... it'll seem like a biblical omen..." he then mumbled further.

"....that is concerning." Uriel commented.

"You will need a strong will to keep that in check." he told Erica.

"How much can we take?" Cain then asked.

Uriel stepped forward, and his eyes glowed pure white for about 10 seconds, before returning to normal.

"You'll be able to take 80% of it." he told them.

"It'll be like a blood donation. If you take 80%, the young lady will pass out and fall asleep for a couple of days, but the mana will replenish itself, and she will recover during that time." he explained.

"Any more and you risk her life."

"...of course you're allowed to know." Zeke told her.

He then just shrugged off Erica's silence, and made his way towards Hazel.

"The short version? Some of the demonic mana on Erica has apparently gone rogue and is making its way from person to person, bringing out their strongest negative core emotion or feelings." he said.

"I became very scared and fearful." Ilias told her.

"You became quite submissive and obedient." Zeke said to her further.

"...sorry about ordering you around earlier." Cain then apologised.

"If it helps, I felt awful doing it." he admitted, scratching the back of his neck slightly.

"Hello." Cain greeted her.

"How are you feeling?" he asked.

"Already she seems more like her old self." Ilias commented.

"Indeed." Zeke agreed, looking at Erica.

"How does she look?" he asked her.
