"........Olivia?" Hal said.

He then felt a pit in his stomach, and forced himself to speak.

"I will." he told her.

"Wait..." he then said.

"Aren't I listed as someone with the authority to escort you home from school?" he asked her.

"...also, have you been trying to reach me through my work number for the last bit?" he asked further.

".....eh?" he mumbled, looking at the I.D.

"Angela?" he wondered.

He then quickly answered the phone.

"Angela?" he said into it.

"Or is that you, Zeke?" he asked further.

'Please tell me it's one of you, so I can know what's going on...' he then thought.

"......." Zeke was silent for a moment, before sighing and nodding.

"Come on." he told her, gently leading her inside and shutting the door.

"Let's go." he said.

"Let' see what she wants." he went on.

Inside his head, something was screaming. Yelling at him that this was wrong.

But something else was silencing it. Roxie's mana.

Zeke looked absolutely panicked.

"Ah, I... I... I..." he stammered.

"Uh... u-uh... w-well..." he stuttered further, before showing her the orb.

"H-here?" he said.

"I'm supposed to give this to you." he told her.

As he did this, she saw a brief flash of darkness in his eyes... but it was only a fraction of a second.

Zeke was silent for a moment, before accepting the orb.

"...ah... all right..." he said.

He then got out of the bed and made sure his jeans were on properly, before making his way down to the front door. He paused at it for a moment, before sighing and opening it.

And freezing when he saw who was there.

"A... A... A..." he stammered.

"A-Angela!" he exclaimed, his guilt now full front and centre.

Hal just sighed in return, and nodded.

"Very well." he said.

"........" he was then silent as she left, and bit his lip slightly.

"I get the very distinct feeling I wouldn't want to be Zeke right now." he mumbled to himself.

Meanwhile, Zeke was laying down in a bed, looking at Roxie and smiling.

He was enjoying his time with her, but there was something in the back of his mind that gnawed at him... and he could feel burning guilt welling up inside him.

Hal was silent for a moment as she said that.

"Oh...?" he asked.

"That is... confusing and concerning." he said.

"Do you think it's wise for you to go track him down alone?" he asked her.

"Or would you like someone to come with you?" he asked further. "Whether it be one other person, or more." he clarified.

"If Zeke's safety is in question, it's potentially alarming." he then reasoned.

Just a clarification before I disappear off of voltra.

His main element is wind, but he can create/manipulate water as well. He's just chosen to combine the two into ice.

Hal nodded.

"Of course." he responded.

"If something's happened to him, you deserve to know." he told her.

"Again, just be warned that a sudden rush of knowledge can cause a headache." he then warned her. "...however, given that this'll probably be a small bit of info, the worst will probably be a pang in the temple for a second." he added.

"Regardless, I'm ready when you are." he told her.

Angela nodded in response, sitting down in one of the chairs.

"I wish to know where Zeke is, and if he is safe." she said, clearly and concisely.

Hal responded to this, by snapping his fingers.

Hal raised an eyebrow.

"Zeke?" he asked.

"No, I don't." he said.

"He's not answering his phone or texts?" he then asked. "That's concerning..." he mumbled.

"....hm. I'd say perhaps he's following a lead on his aunt's disappearance, but... that doesn't explain his silence." he went on.

"Very strange, indeed." he continued.

"But I'm sorry, I don't know where he is, and I've not heard from him." he apologised.

Truth be told, the best I can say about it, is take the clothing from the fullbody, and apply the bust to it, if that makes sense? The bust has a more accurate portrayal of his face and hair, while the chibi does really well with his clothing ans such.

And I mean, the fullbody doesn't show off the rings he wears, but that's the nature of a chibi. So pointing out inaccuracies about can be a little redundant, if you know what I mean.

But does that help?

Zeke gulped again.

"S-sure." he said.

"Lunch works." he told her.

"Let's... let's go." he finished.

With that, the two of them left, with a few people watching them go, curiously.

But nothing was thought about it, and life went on.
